Vanna White reveals what her biggest concern about Ryan seest was I was very scared seest is taking over as the host of Wheel of Fortune following Pat sack's departure Ryan Secrest is slated to make his debut as the new host of Wheel of Fortune on Monday September 9th and while he's co host Vanna White thinks he's going to do a great job she had her reservations at first White who's been on the game show for over four decades told CBS Sunday mornings that she wasn't sure what to expect when CEST was tapped to take over fourat sadak who announced his retirement from Wheel of Fortune in June 2023 to more than 40 years I had no idea what to expect when I'm used to one person for so long white 67 said during an interview on Sunday September first I was very scared but ha's doing a great job while whites and seest met probably 20 years ago the duo are now apparently closer than ever in the past couple of months we've done some traveling together for the show and we got to know each other a little better too so I think our chemistry is good white said on the eve of saad's last wo episode white posted an emotional tribute to Instagram I can't believe that tomorrow is our last show together I don't know how to put into words what these past 41 years have meant to me but I'm going to try she said in a video shared on Thursday June 6th 8,000 episodes went by like that when I first started I was so green you made me so comfortable and made me so confident Pat you made me who want I am you really did she continued as the years have gone by we've grown up on television but we've also shared so much more behind the scenes and as much fun as we had on camera those memories milestones and life events we shared with our families outside the studio a favorit we've watched our children grow up together we've traveled all over the world we've eaten hundreds of meals together we've laughed we've cried we've celebrated oh gosh white said trying not to cry what an incredible and Unforgettable Journey we've had and I consider you a true lifelong friend who I will always adore I love you Pat she added [Music]
