and yeah you know I thought Uh I both offensively and defensively the starters did did a nice job you know Coming in and and um It's always tough I know when when you know on those guys to cuz you just don't know how long You're going to play But for them especially offensively to come in and and and get the two Scores like they did and put some good drives Together early Uh was good to see and then defensively the same way um being able to get those stops and and um you know come off the field and Uh I just thought all night was and even When the When the backups and the Young guys played they played hard And Fast and you know proud of Uh proud of everybody for Uh you know the way they competed tonight first time get a look at the offensive Line Together what you think yeah um I thought I thought it was good you know I think There's some still some things we can we can Uh improve on and and Continue to work but I thought overall they did they did a nice job um you know and and atlanta through threw some pressures at us that you know um know We were on blocked Which you know Which is Which is going to happen One Extra and trevor did a nice job you know getting the ball out of his hand but Uh overall um I thought they played well um have you h the benchmarks that you needed to hit you think to be ready and where you want to be sep Well I I I think We're on on track i i don't think that We're We're a finish product or um you know we're still working on some things you know um in all three phases and um but but it was It was a good preseason it was it was tough it was physical on them I thought they handled it extremely well you know it showed obviously in their in their play You Know these these three Games and but now quite honestly that It doesn't matter right It's Uh We have to get ready for Miami How do you feel injury wise I know you kept some guys at home but looks like Come out of this g Pretty clean yeah yeah there wasn't Uh you know We didn't have any issues tonight Which is good OB teams that are Taking different philosophies they're not playing any starters at all and you guys went with I mean How is it hard to judge How do you kind of Yeah I mean you know what I I Don't Look at It as far as like you know um us versus them that way I I look at it just like us right our execution are we executing are we targeted the right way you know especially in the offensive Line are we are fitting gaps in the Defense you know think are we in the right Uh you know coverage leverage Things that you know we're still working on things and and then you know at the end of The Day When the ball is sna yeah There's a man over You and You got to do your best to to win that matchup but It's more about assignment football um and and you know when your starters don't play a ton Games like this Matter because because you want them to feel like they came away Feeling good about themselves and and execution was was good especially you feel that these guys know what you are looking for press and and and what they need to doing Yeah I believe We're We're We're in a good place there we can we can you know It's still all about communication right I mean it starts with me and I got to communicate with the entire team but offensively Uh with our quarterback and understanding you know what We're asking of him and then and then What We're asking of the offense um Yeah I think I think There's some There's some um The Last couple years have really we've benefited from from being Together You Know all of us and and um it just i think it did show a little bit tonight press call plays in regular season yeah you know We got a couple Weeks you know we'll discuss that and and go from there si and the last two Seasons do you care no no We're sitting here oh and groups Uh Do you like that I Do i do um you know and that matters you know that That's That's good to see um and and I think that Uh you know um playing with a healthy offensive Line and and um you know keeping those guys Together and and even our backups I thought in the in the you know all three Games really have done a great job running the football and and Uh you know coach rouser done an excellent job getting those guys prepared and and um you know keep just keeping it keeping it simple too you know keeping The scheme simple so We're running a lot of the same schemes Over And Over makes makes a difference as well pressures different during the regular season on on a kicker i Guess showed you everything he could so yeah um he was disappointed I didn't put him out there Again for that Long One at the end but i wasn't going to do that um but Yeah I think I think you come away from preseason feeling feeling good about about our situation there and and Uh you know and and Right now It's it's just got to Carry over It's got to It's got to Carry over to the regular season here in a couple Weeks What you think about ma Uh obviously trevor look great but what what you think you know ma has played extremely well on the last couple of Weeks and and really um you know is bought into to what we do and and um you know he'll still revert back to his his his patriot ways every now and then and and we got to Remind him He's in jacksonville but um He's done a good job He's done a good job managing And Running the offense getting everybody involved you know He sees the field well throws a good Ball So you know he He's done done a good job I know It's preseason coach but two touchdowns for t Could you please just speak to the chemistry that and trev are developing I just think it comes with the three years that they've Been Together honestly and the time the time spent they trevor knows exactly Where He's going to be and and Evan runs you know extremely good r and he's very disciplined there and detailed so Uh it's just a It's it's a It's a complimentary piece to our offense and it was good to see them Connect tonight Thank you so much
