today is day 15 actually we're going to kick things off with the women's uh football USA defeated Brazil 1- nil thanks to mallerie Swanson's goal over in the basketball LeBron James and Team USA triumphed over France 9887 sounds like a big victory it wasn't France really put up battle New Zealand's and Lydia Co made history by winning gold in the women's golf tournament becoming the first golfer ever to win three Olympic medals the USA swept the men's and women's 4x400 met relays on the track it was a race both of them to be quite honest the women clocked a 31527 breaking a 36-year-old American record Sydney mlin levone earned her second gold of the Paris games after running the second leg that was a very very very fast split and then the men set an olympic record themselves with 25443 with 16-year-old Quincy Wilson who ran in the Heats he wasn't chosen to run in the finals becoming the youngest male Olympic track and field gold medalist ever he said this is a really good reason to not have done his homework for the summer so in the women's 4x4 we had USA first Netherlands in silver and Great Britain in bronze a terrific run there to to capture the bronze medal over in the men's 4x400 we had the USA taking gold Botswana with silver and Great Britain with a bronze and Matthew Hudson Smith split was one of the fastest of all time second or third on the list I think it was team USA's Massi Russell won the women's 100 meter hurdles defeating defending gold medalist Jasmine kamacho Quinn of Puerto Rico so the bronze went to kamacho we then had Serena Samba mayela of France taking silver and Massi Russell the surprise Victor taking the gold medal we had team USA's Brook rabbu win Silva in the women's bouldering and lead the combin mind final in the women's C1 200 meter event Canada's Katy Vincent edged out competition from the American Nevin Harrison by 0.01 seconds how many times have I told you this is a very close games Harrison the defending gold medalist claimed that silver so in the overall results table for the women's C1 200 meters casy Vincent took gold Nevin Harrison the silver and yarus Lis cillo DUIs of of Cuba took the bronze now over in athletics haish Kerr of New Zealand defeated American Shelby mccuan in a dramatic jump off to win gold in the men's high jump they got up to something like 238 were dra on the on countback and had to go all the way back down the table it was a great great competition we had Grant fiser of the USA taking Bronze in the 5,000 meter final making him the first USA uh athlete male athlete to medal in both the 5,000 and 10,000 me that was a great race in itself won by yakob G britson and then Toler took gold in the men's Marathon setting a new olympic record with a time of 20626 very fast Toler himself was a substitute for Lemma who had to withdraw due to injury he led the race with just over 15 kilometers remaining and really really took off at that point the men's volleyball uh saw France defeating Poland to win gold becoming the first country to consecutively win Olympic golds in the report since the USA in 1984 and 1988 Team USA secured the bronze after defeating Italy on Friday over in the Women's Water Polo we mentioned this yesterday not one to miss out on USA Women's Water Polo team lost a close bronze medal match to the Netherlands 1110 while Spain took the goal defeating Australia China won Gold in the rhythmic gymnastics group final while Israel took Silvera and Italy earned a bronze Great Britain's Kaden Cunningham won Silvera in the men's 80 kilo plus category of Taekwondo we have a little bit of Heritage with Tawanda over recent games and in an artistic swimming Great Britain's Kate shortman and Izzy Thorp won a historic silver medal adding to the hour tally to go towards the final day again in athletics Great Britain earned a bronze medal through Georgia Bell in the women's five 15 not 500 1500 me is final it was a British record a brand new British record as and we also saw Laura m in that race too then we had Noah Williams of Great Britain who qualified to 12th win a bronze in the 10 meter diving platform coming up tomorrow then more action we
