V award go too this may be an unop opinion but like not every African artist does afro beats Tyler's music is definitely not afro beats like I'm happy for her and I love Tyler but like this idea that every African just because you're African means your music is afrit is just a bit backwards for the VMA her music is more pop and I think she also does um a piano and there are specific afrit artist that could have won that award that actually do afrobats but yeah I think it was an l and Tyler because she deserved to have win in another genre she deserved the VMA but not for afro beats come on VMA especially for the song that they even chose it's not even an afro Beat song but like I'm glad she addressed it and Big Ups to Tyler
