what's up guys we're back with our second installment of our Signing Day Spotlight Series this week we're taking a look at the FL Florida Gators the Florida Class currently ranks number three in the on three industry team rankings it's a looks like a top class for Billy Napier I think starting off with with the headliner biggest win you have to go with the quarterback DJ lague when you look at how Billy Napier is recruited early on in his tenure at Florida it's Paramount that he that he get a Blue Chip program changing type of talent at quarterback and DJ lagu looks like that guy as as a senior lagway is one of the more physically talented quarterbacks in the 2024 cycle but he's really putting it together on the field this fall I think he's g a more more than likely going to finish as the most productive quarterback in the 2024 cycle a guy who's doing it with his arm and his legs and making a ton of plays on Friday night he's having a dream season and I think if you're a Florida fan you be really excited about what DJ lagway brings and when you look at the win on the recruiting trail trail for Florida Florida beat out USC for DJ lagway so I think anytime you have that head-to-head win over Lincoln riy on the recruiting Trail particularly as a in a quarterback back recruiting battle you have to be really pleased with that my pick for highest upside in Florida's class is the five-star defensive lineman LJ McCrae LJ McCrae was a huge get for Billy Napier in the Gators Ju Just a couple weeks ago with them beating out Georgia Florida State Miami several top schools for his commitment LJ McCrae is completely blown up as a senior this is a guy who's making a ton of plays in the back field he can rush the passer he's really good against the Run he's this guy's extremely physically gifted he's 66 280 runs a 49 long arms and just is is playing the best football of his career as a senior so he's a guy who I think is is going to continue to get better in college but has the ability and the talent to make an immediate impact while he's continuing to improve at the college level and I think he's a guy who we I would not be surprised to look up in a couple years and he's a top NFL draft pick there's a lot of intriguing prospects in Florida's class but my pick for the top sleeper at this moment would be defensive lineman nir Johnson nir Johnson came on the scene a little later this is a guy who kind of started bubbling up in this spring summer in Florida was quick to to nap him and get him in their class this guy is big and highly athletic he plays on both sides of the ball for his high school as an offensive and defensive lineman we project him as a defensive lineman and he shows a lot of athletic ability and and high-end movement skills on Friday nights this is a guy who can run sideline to sideline at 300 lbs he's extremely Twitchy and explosive but he's still developing as a player so I think he's one who's going to continue to get better with college coaching and a guy who's just really just scratching the service of uh what we consider to be immense [Music] potential thank you for watching if you enjoyed that content be sure to subscribe to the on three recruits Channel we have a new page dedicated only to recruiting go ahead and hit that subscribe button right now
