Well, Penn State's football team opens its season tomorrow at West Virginia and Fox 40 three's Todd Sadowski is in Morgantown. He shows us why it's already a big game atmosphere one day before kickoff, it's only Friday and already there's national attention on the nitty lines opener at Mountaineer Field. As for the fans, they didn't waste any time arriving early. We've been planning ahead to come out here as soon as we start on the schedule, we love to come to road games, especially when they're in driving distance. We're excited this one because we thought we'd be able to bring the RV setup is right outside of the basketball arena. What do you think of the setup here? This is nice. It's a nice big parking lot. Uh, they gave us lots of space to tailgate. We were a little worried we'd get here and it would kind of be cramped, but no, it's been great. Historically, Penn State dominates this series winning 33 of the last 35 meetings. We went straight to the top of the mountain State to get some perspective. West Virginia's United States, Senator Joe Manchin was our guest on the game week and he reminisced about taking his lumps versus the blue and white. They hit me one time. I was, I did a roll out with some, I'll, I'll show them what this old coal mining kid can do. They hit me so hard. I was looking at my nose card. The last time Penn State lost to West Virginia was 1988 something. The senator also remembers. Well, Joe Paterno beat us in so many close games and so many times we should have won that when we were ahead with 51 to 30 49 seconds. They figured they had it. So they just took off and stormed the field toward the goal posts down. Oh, I'll never forget that. That was unbelievable. Let's hope there's not a repeat of that moment. We have much more on this matchup and from Senator Manchin on n any game week, you can catch it two times each week. Fridays at 630 Saturday mornings at nine. And don't forget you can watch every play of PSU open here in Morgantown right here on Fox 43. This is where the big noon crew is set up outside of Mountaineer field. They'll pick up the coverage Saturday morning at 10 o'clock and normal hotel rates in this area on a Friday night, 100 to $150 tonight, people are paying 500 to $1000 just to be close to the field with the nitty lines on the road to Sadowski Fox 43.
