crew if they were cautious with one of the key cogs of this team for Texas Tech as the Red Raiders in my opinion are already NCAA tournament bound you want to make sure you have your defensive anchor playmaker he's been pretty damn good as late of late and you saw his driving potential last game against TCU where he didn't make a three still led the Red Raiders in points and got to the free throw line 12 times and made his last 11 of those so is he going to be that aggressive we're going to talk about a guy that actually didn't play for the knights against Texas Tech the only time that they played but he's a big factor when it comes down to the defensive aspect of things for the knights and pop ISAC is gonna have a chance to potentially have a similar game that he had against TCU against the knights down in Orlando now Darion Williams has led the Red Raiders in scoring in their previous matchup against UCF with 13 he's been really good for Texas Tech this year as we know he is going to be an ex factor for Texas Tech in this game because there's really not anybody on the UCF roster that I think matches up with him well and I think this could be a game where we're talking about Darion Williams in that 13 to 15 Point range eight rebounds four assists the steal that kind of fill the box score type game for the Red Raider 4 all right UCF we'll talk about the player here in just a second who's going to be playing in this matchup at least it looks like right now but you got to start when you talk about the knights they're backcourt you got to talk about Jaylen sers and you have to talk about Darius Johnson sers is a guy Lefty sniper for the kns a guy that's one of the leading scorers in the Big 12 right now he isn't the most consistent shooter from deep but he is really really good at getting to his spots he's a guy that you have to know if you're the Red Raiders now Darius Johnson has really been filling it up as late uh over the last three games he's averaging 21 points per game he's also leading the knights and assist with 3.9 oh and by the way steals per game it's 2.2 he's a guy that can do it on both ends of the floor for Coach Dawkins down there in Orlando now the guy that didn't play for UCF against Texas Tech back in the 806 was Ibraham Dio he is a guy that is an absolute just pivotal player for UCF defensively and I think a lot of people thought that if he played against Texas Tech last time the knights probably win that game but Texas Tech got the win looks like he'll be available in this matchup in Orlando he is one of the better bigs in the conference when it comes to the defensive side of the floor actually in the top three of blocks per game in the Big 12 now the must-watch matchup in this one it involves the UCF Must Watch Matchup for #23 Texas Tech at UCF bigs I want to see what Texas Tech can do from an interior offense perspective now that doesn't just mean you know Warren Washington if if he plays kirron Lindsay who had a great game against TCU or Robert Jennings I want to see how aggressive the Texas Tech guards are in terms of going inside and trying to finish through contact and make the ref blow the whistle I think that could be the end all Beall for Texas Tech in this matchup in terms of getting to the free throw line finishing through contact and getting those easier opportunities I.E at the charity strike all right when it comes down to a prediction in this one Texas Tech at UCF Prediction it's interesting because Texas Tech is actually favored in their remaining five games obviously this is one of them they're one and a half Point favorites on the road in the Big 12 you don't really hear about that too much and Bart tovar's metrics actually give Texas Tech a 55% chance to win this game you see at the bottom of your screen my prediction I think Texas Tech is the better team than UCF that being said this game is going to be extremely close and I think Texas Tech actually pulls away just a little
