came with my family uh my wife jelle uh we've been around we came from the brington Spanish church but we decided like God put in our heart to like visit uh Mount Gillian and um thank you for having you Lord that we come this morning opening our hearts and praising you giving you honor giving you glory because you deserve all of the glory father who are we that we should come before you this morning who are we that you should take so much care that you would look down you are the great God of heaven but yet you look down on us sinful men and father you have given this great gift your son Jesus to die so that you could redeem our souls father we don't have anything that we can bring to you an exchange to what you have done for us but because Jesus died and shed his blood and he also invited us to come boldly to the throne of grace so this morning Father we come as we are and we are so thankful to know even though we come as we are sinful undeserving you have promised not to leave us as we are so we thank you Lord this morning Father as we bow before you with our hearts we Bow Low Lord Lord being so thankful we are thankful Lord that when we went to our bed last night we didn't have any assurance that we're going to be up but you woke us up you have given us another chance you have given us another day father so that our lives can be transformed to be more like you and also Father to be a testimony of your goodness to everyone that we meet and we just so thankful Lord we're thankful that we are in your house this morning worshiping you on the Sabbath day it's not because we are better than anyone else but it is because of your grace amen and as we come this morning Father we just lift everyone under the sound of my voice here Lord you know the needs you know the struggles we bring them all to you and as we worship father give us the ability to let go of anything thing that is holding us down anything that shows itself strong in our lives we pray father that you will be our stronghold this morning help our hearts to be left to you so that you can do for us what we cannot do for ourselves so this morning Father as we worship help us to be free because you said that whom the son make free will be free indeed and I pray father that you will help us to claim what you have given us you have given us freedom that we don't have to be captives to sin but we can be free to choose Jesus because he's the one who died for us be with our visiting friends this morning Lord who have visited with us I pray that you will bless them abundantly be with the children who are here this morning oh how Jesus loves little children I pray father that you will help them to to know in their innocent heart how much you love them and help them to follow after you be with the parents and give them wisdom to bring them in the light of the Lord be with our older folks this morning Father you have promised in your word that even when the hairs are gray you will not forget so bless I pray this morning and father I pray that you also bless our pastor bless him father as he bring your word this morning I pray that our hearts will be blessed bless and our heart will be transformed and prepare our hearts father as we come this morning today's communion day help us to know that we cannot clean our own Hearts but Jesus can cleanse us so help us to open our hearts to Something About the Name of Jesus I want to invite you to stand with me as I arrest your attention for the next 5 minutes I invite you to stand with me as I arrest your attention for the next five minutes and I bring your attention to the message that is entitled today the real Wonder Bread the real wonder wonder bread if you have your Bibles turn with me to the Book of John John the 6th chapter I want to confess today that today in our As We are continuing our Series in the Book of John uh I'm going to take I'm going to skip you a little head ah head in the story and then the next Sabbath that I'm here I'm going to bring you back amen because as much as I would like to to share with you everything that I want to share with you I can't do it in five minutes amen so I want to bring you to the semal point that is important for our message today John chapter John chapter 6 amen we are beginning at verse [Music] 3 five John chapter 6 beginning at verse 35 I will read in your hearing from the King James version of the Bible and Jesus said unto them I am the bread of life he that cometh unto me shall never hunger and he that believeth on me shall never thirst but I said unto you that ye also have seen me and believe not all that the father giveth me shall come to me and he that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out for I came down from heaven not to do mine own will but the will of him that sent me and this is the Father's will which hath sent me that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing but should raise it up again in at the last day and this is the will of him that sent me that everyone which seeth the son and believeth on him may have everlasting life and I will raise him up at the last day may the Lord add his Blessing to the word father anoint our hearts and Minds remove from our our mind find anything that would keep us from receiving your word may they not see me may they not hear me but may we see Jesus high and lifted on the cross in the name of Jesus we pray amen and amen I would love to take this time today to take you to the be you may be seated I would love to take this time today and take you to the beginning of the book of the sixth chapter of the Book of John and talk to you about how he turned Five Loaves into two fish into bread to feed 5,000 and fish to feed 5,000 but I don't have the time I would love to take the time to take you in and tell you the significance of the 12 baskets of fra fragments that were left after the the this feeding was done and and and and share with you how beautiful it is that after God moves that there's always something left over but I just don't have the time I would love to take the time to take you into the words of Jesus before we get to this statement that is made here in our scripture for today and tell you about how Jesus Paints the picture of how he is the bread of life that it brings everlasting life but today I just want to come to you today and tell you that while when you go to your grocery store you will see one brand of bread that's called Wonderbread that there's still only one Wonderbread in this world and his name is Jesus he's the Lamb of God which takes away the sins of the world he came and he died on this Earth so that we might have a right to the tree of life and he came in this statement and said I am the bread of life uh oh it it's good news to know that Jesus is the real Wonder Bread because he has come on that Wondrous Cross and died for our sins he came so that we might have a right to the tree of life he came so that we might be rescued from a world that is filled with sin and he came to let the whole world know that he is the bread of life uh oh but there's good news in the text today not only is he the bread of life he gave in this ma passage of scripture the H uh the promise that those that come to him and and receive of the real Wonder Bread anyone who comes to him he will in no wise cast out oh it's so good to know that when I come and take of Jesus he promis that he won't cast me out uh uh he he promised that he won't turn me away he promised that he won't push me back there's nothing that I can do except not coming to him that can keep me from the grace that comes from God uh I I want to tell you today that not only uh do you come to him but you can't come to him unless the father sends you saints of God I want you to know that we have a father who's uh involved in the Salvation process and he's wooing you to the sun he's letting you know that you got to partake of the real Wonderbread and that's Jesus uh I'm so glad that this text lets us know that everyone who comes to him uh all those who come to him oh it's beautiful to know that Jesus said with his own lips that those who come to him him of those that come to him none shall be lost that's good news today because if you come to Jesus and you accept him and you follow him all the way he has promised in his words that all that come to him shall not be lost I'm not teaching uh uh once saved always saved I'm teaching that when you come to Jesus he changes you through and through and if you come to Jesus you won't be lost if you come to Jesus you shall be saved if you accept Jesus uh he will both work in you to Will and to do of his good pleasure and I'm so glad to know that Jesus in his own words pinned in read here in your Bible said all those who come to him of those that come to him none shall be lost so it's good news today as we partake of the body and the blood of Jesus Christ that as I accept today the real Wonder World bread I have hope today that Jesus saves I have hope today that Jesus will will bring me through I have hope today that as I trust in the Lord Jesus Christ I shall be saved isn't it good news today as we end this message to know that Jesus is the real Wonderbread is there somebody that would just stand to their feet and put a hand clap of Praise today about the fact that Jesus is the real Wonderbread is there somebody today that will shout hallelujah because Jesus is the real Wonderbread is there someone today that will praise the name of the Lord because he is the will Wonder Bread hallelujah praise the name of Jesus I know some of y'all didn't think I was going to be five minutes but it's five minutes saints of God and at this time we are going to separate as we continue in the ordinance of of of of partaking of the foot Washing Service this is significant because Jesus as he gathered the disciples together uh uh he he he called the disciples and as he went from from from person to person he washed each one of their feet in this ordinance of humility and today as we partake the ladies going to the fellowship hall all the way in the back you'll walk through this hallway here and all the way to the back to the back room there'll be deaconness that will guide you in the direction through the gym all the way to the back where you will be able to wash each other feet in the men feet other's feet and the men will gather in the gym to wash each other's feet uh I want us to sing this song as we go as we go and separate I have decided to follow Jesus amen as we as we separate now for the ordinance of foot washing if you should choose not to participate in the ordinance of foot washing that is okay you can we want you to prayerfully wait here as we as we go scripture for the wine followed by the prayer for the wine and when he had given thanks he broke the bread and said take eat this is my body which is broken for you do this in remembrance of me Holy Father let us always be ever mindful of the Brokenness that Jesus experienced upon Calvary may this everpresent in our minds continually break us Dash us upon the rocks that self pride arrogance cruelty that it may be eradicated father and the only thing left is love love for you and love for each other in Jesus name amen after the same manner also he took the when he had sucked saying this cup is the New Testament in my blood this do as of as you drink it in remembrance of me Father in heaven we want to thank you for the blood the blood that was shed for us on Calvary the blood that redeemed us from sin the blood that day by day as we live will continue to cleanse us until Jesus come we thank you and we praise you Lord may your blood continue to transform Our Lives day by day in remembrance of me amen Paul records in the Corinthians these words words for as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup ye do show the Lord's death till he come in our passage of scripture for our sermon today in John Jesus said that in the last day I will return and not one that the Lord has given unto me will be lost I thank God that when I put my hands in the Lord's hands as I have today when I accept the body and the blood of Jesus Christ his sacrifice on Calvary for my sins that as I rest my faith and trust in Jesus I can be assured of my salvation in him amen I can be assured that as long as I put my hand in the Lord's hand I'm going to be all right I I can be sure that in the in the as we study today in our Sabbath school lesson this morning if you miss Sabbath School you missed the treat uh we learn that the act of love in which we show that we are thankful for the Salvation that comes from Jesus Christ is as we keep his Commandments amen so I am I am glad that I am assured of my salvation and because I am assured of of my salvation I'm going to show my love for Jesus by keeping his Commandments Hallelujah I'm going to show my love for Jesus by following his word I'm going to show my love for Jesus and the fact that he is the real Wonder Bread by living my life following his will for my life amen and I thank God for the Salvation that comes because we have accepted a new the body and the blood of Jesus Christ today praise God there should be Hallelujah and shouting in in the in the house today we might not be Pentecostal but when it comes to the Salvation of Jesus we should say amen and Hallelujah amen amen praise the Lord as we prepare to close our service um I want to invite you to to let you know that at every communion service we take up an offering at the end for those who are in need so I want to encourage you to bring in to bring that offering you can start taking that offering out now even as as we move to the end of our communion service amen and I want you all to prepare we are going to sing our closing hymn as we and as we praise God for his goodness and his grace amen because we're going to sing the song There Is Power guided under a bushel may all that we come in contact know that there is a savior that loves them with an everlasting love may they feel the call of God upon their lives as we live for you in the name
