all right so let's start with the big story that we are tracking on VI this are a renowned elections forecaster known for successfully having predicted the outcome of former American elections has released his prediction that the incumbent vice president Kamala Harris will win against former president Donald Trump in the November election listen my prediction based on the keys to the White House system which has been right for 40 years is that we are going to have a precedent breaking president that kamla Harris will become the first woman president of the United States now Alan liman has in the past successfully predicted the outcome of nine of the last 10 presidential elections using his election model that is based on 13 true or false questions that ignore the views of political pundits and pollsters his first said that while his election model favors Kamala Harris to win the candidates STS on issues of foreign policy and real world events could in fact influence the outcome of the race can things change of course I can't predict uh what's going to happen in the world and we have two fluid Wars but I've taken that into account in my call even if Harris lost both of my foreign military Keys failure and success she still would be down only five Keys one short of the six keys that it takes to predict an incumbent party defeat the earlier lickman had in fact battered for Biden and had warned the Democrats against dropping him out of the race after his debate battle with Donald Trump back then he had said that this could prove to be a tragic mistake for the party furthermore the White House has reacted to Russian President Vladimir Putin recent quip that he supports Kamala Harris and not Donald Trump the White House National Security Council spokesperson John Kirby said that Vladimir Putin must stop interfering and commenting perhaps on us elections Mr Putin not to stop talking about our elections period he shouldn't be favoring anybody one way or another the only people who should get to determine who the next president of the United States is is the American people and and we would great appreciate if Mr Putin would a stop talking about our election and B stop interfering in it meanwhile the Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump warned Jewish voters that an election win for his Democrat rival Kamala Harris would mean the end of the state of Israel as it exists now speaking remotely to a crowd of more than a thousand Republican Jewish Coalition donors in Las Vegas he said that he will ban Refugee resettlement from what he called the terror infested areas like Gaza if Camala Harris wins terrorist armies will wage an unceasing War to drive Jews out of the holy land and you know it and we've had a great relationship with Israel but I can say honestly that we got 25% of the vote we got 26% after four years after I did more for Israel than any other president by far now on the other hand Kamal running mate Tim Walls has said that the Israeli Palestinian conflict is at a pretty critical juncture and this is the time for the Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu to start moving in the direction of a two-state solution now Tim wals was speaking to a radio broadcast about half Harris and wal's administration would handle the situation in the Gaza Strip all right now to give us more perspective in terms of what is happening in the American elections we have Within is here in the studio Mr Rond e wakery he's a former US assistant Secretary of Commerce for trade development so thank you very much indeed for joining us here in our Von headquarters it's always a pleasure to be with the world is one absolutely indeed now this this is an election that is being watched very closely around the world at this moment the pollsters appear to be favoring Kamala Harris she's of course coming late so to speak in this contest she replaced Joe BN but she seems to have energized the Democrat water base but a lot of people are saying that this is going to be a difficult sort of a race for Kamala Harris because it's not a done deal yet she'll have to maintain this lead and go on and win the elections on the 5th of November what's your take on these pollsters who are saying that Kamal Harris has a lead at this moment well I think as you've said in the past uh you look at polls not for absolute truth but basically for entertainment but the trends are all in the right direction there is nobody that has taken a poll that doesn't show that camela Harris at the top of the ticket has increased 3 to 4% uh across the board and if you look at the Battleground States you know we have a crazy system with an electoral college but the so-called blue wall of Pennsylvania Michigan and Wisconsin seems to be holding up uh and in all of the other swing States uh except maybe Georgia uh it's within the margin era very close so yes it's trending that way but uh there's still about 18% undecided at this point and a lot can happen and can go either way so nothing should be taken for granted uh and it's going to be very close no matter what now this is going to be interesting in terms of what is it that the American people vote for do they vote on their domestic issues there is the issue of foreign policy and also there's this issue of Economics within America the American economy seems to be growing but a lot of people have come out and said that in average American voter has perhaps not felt the benefits of a growing American economy in the last four years under Joe ban and this is going to be a huge challenge for Kamala haris to prove to her vote base and also for the undecided voters that she can turn things around economically for them has she so far outlined the policy that she would Implement financially for the domestic audience within America well there's no question in any great democracy whether it be the us or India or anywhere else that when it comes time to go to the polls uh with exceptions of absolute allout War uh the economic issues are Paramount in that regard it seems to me that people have been very concerned about inflation particularly uh for food uh and for housing and in that regard uh kamla Harris has come out uh with an expansive program uh to show that you're going to be able to uh cut uh price gouging she has a great uh proposal in regard to a $6,000 per uh new child credit uh getting the child credit overall back up to where it was during the pandemic uh $225,000 Credit in regard to housing and very importantly to be able to continue to cap uh the cost of prescription drugs right so I think all of those show that what is happening is that she does have even an improvement upon what uh Biden has done and it is building from the middle out rather than the top down which has been the Trump proposal you know you've been a former assistant Secretary of Commerce for trade development now president Trump is is pretty categorical he says that his intention is to make America great again he's taking America on the line of what people would describe is is ation ISM when Joe B came back he said America is back and he wants to build links with the rest of the world now looking forward we still do not know who will be in charge of the White House post the 5th of November elections how different do you think Kamala Harris would be from Donald Trump provided either of them end up winning these elections well I think it'll be very different uh as a former assistant secretary in charge of trade development uh in the United States government uh the kinds of proposals that have been put forward uh by uh former president Trump just do not work he has proposed an across the board Tariff of 10% on no matter how much of a friend you are like enemy or or whether you're uh an enemy you know we tried that once before in the United States to build a tariff wall and have Fortress America was called the smooth Holly tariff and we tried that during uh the depression and it didn't work it made things worse the fact is that you have to have friend sourcing you have to look at friends like uh India and see what you can do to Shift Supply chains uh from uh competitors like China to friends like India uh for growth but the idea that uh foreign competition is bad across the board that we're just going to be able to do things without interaction with India or anybody else is a nonstarter and that seems to be the Trump approach it'll be very interesting to watch out for us to how things of course play out thank you very much indeed
