SoCal Fire Resources Tutorial- How to use Fire.Ca.Gov Website Resources

hi everybody with all of these fires going on in our area Embrace health insurance agency wanted to share a helpful resource with you guys I myself found this very helpful and I wanted to share so you go to fire.ca.gov and this is the calire website it is an official website and it gives you all of the fire updates you guys need to stay safe what's cool is you have a map here of all the fires in the area and what I like is you're going to scroll down here and you're going to hit the get SMS alerts this will be for getting text alerts in your area it will then prompt you to create an account as you can see I already have one here and the nice thing is it will give you checklists these are fire checklists so you have evacuation animal evacuation home hardening and evacuation checklist when you click on these checklists you can download them and it gives you a list of things that you should do um to take precautions so that is really nice especially if you are in an active fire zone and the other thing that I liked is you can check your local fire activity right here you're going to click on this yellow button and it will take you to this page where you can see the active fires in your area you can also sort it by distance um containment and start date so here we see the bridge fire you can go ahead and you can share that with others or you can click the get text messages it will have you put in your phone number and they will send you fire updates as well as information about evacuation we just thought this was a helpful resource with all these fires going on we want you guys to stay safe and stay healthy out there with this air quality and we hope this helps you guys
