past weekend I went and saw the new movie Reagan starring Dennis Quaid as Ronald Reagan the film is mainly told from the interesting perspective of a former Russian KGB agent who tells the story of Ronald Reagan's rise from childhood to Hollywood leading man to politician as future governor of California and eventually the 40th President of the United States the film shows his struggles to battle communism his political challenges especially in terms of convincing the Soviet Union's leader Gorbachev to tear down the Berlin wall and also dives into his personal relationship with his wife Nancy Davis I went into this film not really knowing much about Ronald Reagan but I still thought it was a well done movie with great acting especially from Dennis Quaid if you're a fan of History like I am this is a film worth seeing to gain a better understanding of one of the most prominent figures in US history
