so we just had our first Packers practice status update of the week come out here on Wednesday and of course this week all eyes are going to be on Jordan love when he initially injured himself a day after lots of the reports said somewhere from 3 to 6 weeks some said more likely 3 to four and then earlier this week Matt lefur said that if Jordan love wasn't healthy Malik Willis would start and didn't close the door completely on Jordan love playing on Sunday even though it could be um unlikely the odds could be small didn't shut down that opportunity of love playing on Sunday and so here it is from Rob demovsky he tweeted a few minutes ago no sign of Jordan love either inside during stretch or outside for the early portion of practice he was the only player unaccounted for everyone else was practicing so it's not that surprising I think it's probably to be expected that love wouldn't practice on Wednesday spreading his MCL and so we're going to keep an eye on it tomorrow Thursday as well as Friday so make sure you have the post notifications turned on so you don't miss any more Jordan love updates and I would assume if he were to actually play come Sunday you'd at least want to see him practice some on Friday and my thing is the Packers are pretty conservative when it comes to letting players back from injuries and so there's no chance that they're going to risk his future if he's not ready to go and so we just don't know exactly how his injury has progressed through the week and hopefully we'll get some more other updates soon and another interesting thing to bring up which I shared yesterday in a video this interesting tweet here from title Town rain they tracked QBs with MCL sprains since 2015 and when you look at these stats here I shared on Twitter if you're not following me on Twitter Luke Beller 3 I share some some Packers filmed there as well as different stats I shared lots of stats about the upcoming matchup versus the Colts on my Twitter as well but I shared the other day interesting stat on QBs with MCL sprains from this title Town rain Post 10 of 15 listed didn't miss a game four of 15 missed two games one of 15 missed one game and so the fact that 10 of 15 quarterbacks who spray their MCL the next week were able to play I think there's reason for optimism with Jordan love and now we don't exactly know the extent how serious it is and so the odds of been playing Sunday I would guess just my prediction would be somewhat low um based on the Packers and and what could happen here but uh there's a chance but first day of practice not practicing we'll see what happens come Thursday and Friday feel free to subscribe if you want more Packers content and I'll see you guys next time
