West Vancouver Police are in investigating distracted driving as a possible cause of yesterday's crash on the Lion's Gate Bridge the bridge was closed for more than an hour while police dealt with the crash scene the accident happened at around 8:00 in the morning when a Northbound Acura Integra crossed the center line and slammed into an oncoming SUV the jobs of Life were needed to get the Integris driver out of the car he is reportedly listed in critical but stable condition two people in the other vehicle were not seriously injured road conditions and weather do not appear to be factors West Vancouver Police uh responds to uh basically the North End of the bridge and the onramps uh is part of our policing jurisdiction it's consistently in our top five Collision zones very high Collision rate in these uh areas
