Penn State vs West Virginia Prediction

hello and welcome back to another video today I will be doing a prediction video for my favorite college football team Penn State so week one match up uh I'm going to do prediction videos every week for Penn State uh and for the Bengals because that's my NFL team but yeah so for Penn State week one is at West Virginia probably top three hardest matchups of the Season I'd say it's West Virginia USC and Ohio State that's an awful way to start off the season um but what is my prediction for the game I think that's what you guys all want to know so first of all it will be a very hard environment to play in Morgan Town gets very loud and for the opening season or for the season opener against a top 10 ranked team that'll be a very tough environment to play in um West Virginia's quarterback is kind of a scrambler in a way which it can play to Penn State's advantage and it can't at the same time they have a very good dline just overall great defense top three in the country in like a lot of categories and I think top three overall um but I don't know how they do against scrambling quarterbacks if I'm being honest I don't really think Penn State played any last year I do remember the West Virginia game last year um and I remember that went by or that went really good for us um but I don't know honestly I think honestly Penn State Defense will shut down West Virginia's offense however Drew Aller has shown that he doesn't play as well under pressure let's just say that way and I think last year there wasn't as much pressure to beat West Virginia as there is this year because Penn State now knows that they are easily a playoff worthy team I mean let's be honest the 12 team playoff was built for Penn State and really now every game matters for Penn State and it is a better West Virginia team this year than they were last year so my concern is that Drew Aller won't play as well under pressure however he is a junior this year last year he was a sophomore and he's matured 100% and now he has experiences in those games I do think I'm just going to say it I do think that Penn State will win I think they will definitely have some struggles I don't think that they will Peak week one and that they will play an incredible game and everyone's going to be shocked at how well they played against West Virginia and I do actually think that West Virginia is going to cover the spread I think right now ESPN has it at like8 or something 8 or 8.5 I have the final score being 24 to 20 um but yeah 24 to 20 is my score prediction and I do as I said think that Penn State will win I do think potentially even K trollin Allen and Nicholas Singleton will have some issues I just think if I'm being 100% honest I think for both teams it'll be kind of a sloppy game um I think Penn State's defense will make West Virginia's offense not look as good as it can I think West Virginia is genuinely a contender for the Big 12 this year um and I think at times Penn State's offense might be a bit discombobulated but I do think at the end of the day they'll get their job done I think the running back duo will mostly get Penn State their points but I do think Drew Aller will show that he can play better games under pressure now this year than he did last and I do genuinely think that Penn State will have a good season this year and starting off against West Virginia yes it's a risk but at the same time if they do or yes it's a tough game but at the same time if they do win that game that'll really set the tone for the season so I do think that if they win that'll be huge for them um and I do think they will win as I said I don't necessarily know how the game's going to go but I think 24 to 20 is a pretty safe bet um but I think it will be tough I think Penn State will probably struggle the first half and I think they'll probably come out in the second half that's just honestly what coach Franklin does he's way more of a second half team especially third quarter um but maybe I'm wrong maybe West Virginia is going to win and maybe I'm wrong in the sense that Penn State's going to cover the spread and kill West Virginia hopefully that's what's going to happen because I am a Penn State fan um but yeah I do hope that's going to happen and and I strongly hope that Penn State's going to win um but my honest prediction is that they will struggle a bit but they will find their groove eventually uh and especially Penn State's defense will you know as I said get the job done um just because they are so good um but I do think that West Virginia will definitely have a pretty big chance of win winning the game not not a big chance compared to Penn State but I do think that they have a chance to win against the top 10 team which isn't always the case if you're unranked um but as I said I do think Penn State's going to win the game and I do think that that will be a very good way for them to start their season thank you so much for watching the video let me
