Community: A Series Review: The Dan Richardson Show 424

um today we will be talking about community so Community is of course the show that you know uh basically put a lot of these guys on the map you know Dan Hardman he had done some other things but like this was like his first big success before Rick and Morty um obviously have Joel mccale before he went on to do um uh like that baking crime show that me and my mom watched for like a season and then you know Alison Bri before she got on claw obviously as well um uh Donald Glover uh before he you know became a rapper or whatever you know this was the show that put a lot of these people on the map made a lot of them famous and while it wasn't necessarily a super popular show while it was airing of course it has developed a cult following and yeah I am one of those fans and I genuinely love the show I feel like I do kind of quote it a lot probably more to my family than on here but I have been known to like quote this show and reference this show I I do love this show granted I'm not like yeah I don't think I've have I I guess I haven't really talked about it a lot on the on the channel here I don't want to be like one of those annoying YouTubers who like talks about the same things that every other YouTuber talks about I want to be mildly unique so I don't really talk about other you know the show too much on here but this is the big video where I'm talking about it um I've seen this show three times uh I watched it back in 20 uh 20120 like in October took me two weeks it took me two weeks to watch again but uh also it's no longer on Netflix by the way I just went that recently like what it's not on Netflix anymore uh which gave me a reason to watch all 110 episodes on this Blu-ray here and it actually took me two weeks again uh to watch them on Blu-ray took me two weeks that first time and then I watched them last year watched the show last year um on Netflix while I was building my my or while I was refurbishing what would become my store into you know my business my ice cream business so this show is rather unique rather special to me because of that because um and also I just really do love it so this is for those who don't know uh season one is about Jeff Winger he um basically makes up a study group in order to get with a girl named brida and uh BR thinking that it's an actual study group and also trying to possibly test uh Jeff is like oh let's invite Abed Abed is this character who kind of has autism or at least his autism coded and he you know he also invites other people you know so we got Jeff we got BR we have uh uh you know Abed you or Abed you have Abed and then uh Troy Annie um Shirley and then Pierce and those are like our first main characters within the very beginning of the show pierce his playback chvy Chase who is an actor I don't really like I don't really like CH Chase um this is before I realized and discovered that he was apparently a racist but he just genuinely doesn't he's one of those guys from like the 80s who did 80s movies who isn't funny and did the stupid like John um like John Burns or whatever the hell his name is you know uh comedies or whatever you know oh what's his name guy who did like home alone and Breakfast Club whatever the guy sucks and you know like chff J did like those you know and it's like okay cool but everyone else in this cast is pretty much you know likable and you know very good in their roles Jeffy Chase even has some moments that are like oh he's actually quite good but overall Jeffy Chase I think sort of stinks that he turned out to be a racist but also he play Pierce really well you kind of have to have something in you to play a horrible character like that you know at least in my opinion you kind of have to have something already in you uh that's why you really shouldn't trust too many people who play on is because you got to have something in you to make that um type of betrayal work and uh yeah it's a genuinely funny show um I think you're going to hear that from a lot of people who talk about this show is that this show is really funny and is really good um and yeah it is funny it's hilarious um you also have the guy uh Ken his name Ken Jong who plays Chang uh he is a a main character who is a teacher at first and stuff like that and I will basically mildly spoil this uh show throughout the course of this um little video here but yeah like this is a very funny show it's a very good show [Music] um I know the the title of this video said um review I was kind of hoping that the that Amazon Prime because I have the show pulled up here on Amazon Prime just to give me episode names uh you know I've actually been a uh I got a comment from someone named Shay uh saying Trump or Kamala a few weeks ago someone asked that and I will say what I said then uh no comments uh we make political jokes on The Dan Rich Show we do not get political uh there a difference um but yeah but I was kind of hoping that there would be like pictures and stuff along with the episodes so I can figure out like what episode uh is being shown on Amazon Prime but it's not so we're going to uh I'm just going to describe the episodes that I like and hopefully someone in the comments if they care enough will um you know be like oh hey yeah here are the episode titles um I think the first like five episodes of this show do a really good job at having Jeff be the pseudo protagonist of course has the show continues it becomes more and more of a you know of a you know ensemble cast of characters being like okay this guy is obviously you know started off as sort of like the main character but of course we branched out and we've made more of these characters feel like you know fleshed out compared to this first guy you know you get that a lot like you know Frasier obviously named after Frasier Frasier very much feels like the main character of that first season and then of course as you learn more about like his dad Martin or his brother Niles or even DNE the the living doctor or the the like living home nurse you know obviously they feel more and more like characters you know Sam was obviously the main character of Cheers until we learned more and more about the other characters so you know it's just something that we do and Jeff is I think played really well by uh Joe male Joe male I feel like outside of community is very much like oh you're funny but like there's something missing and I think Dan Hardman sort of understood that something missing what was missing was you know sort of an an arrogant quality that Jeff has that like you know it's an arrogance that mixes with his you know it's an arrogance that misses with that mixes well with the the humor of oh this this guy's a bit of a lame you know lame person you know what do you do with that how does he cope with okay you were like a big dog but now you're you know the the the poop has been kind of kicked out of you because now you're a big dog in a very small you know Pond and that makes you smaller too what do you feel your your big personality with and stuff like that and Jeff Phils his personality with still some of that juicy quality but with his um just his charm with the Jeff Winger charm and having that character be not just a sympathetic dag but also a character that you do find charming and you do ultimately like you know because of the things that make Jeff Winger him you know you very much seen his archetype before but I think it's Joe male also being Charming in real life that helps Jeff be unique um and you have AED who I mentioned is sort of the artistic character uh you know he sees everything through um you know through television through a TV lens I can most certainly relate to that not only do I have autism but I also see things through sort of a metatextual lens you know not like as much as Abed and I feel like I probably was a bit closer to Abed when I was a little you know younger although I still on occasion um and this might tell you a lot about me but I still on occasion will like look off to the side and make a sarcastic comment like I'm breaking the fourth wall because like when I was little that's what I did I would I would look off to the side and pretend like I was breaking the fourth wall but I wasn't because the fourth wall you know doesn't exist cuz it's real life but like that's something I did and I feel like AED is a fairly relatable character because of that and yeah I like aad um also like that actor you know he he's bumblebee in the new Transformers show he was uh Huey in um Duck Tales and he is quite good in those other roles but like I don't know I feel like when it comes to portraying an autistic character you can either be like Max from Parenthood or you can be like the Predator you know the Predator movie where it's like mildly where it's like you're not accurately portraying autism but it's also like massively offensive like you can either be offensive when you're betraying autism or you can actually be like really well you know crafted and you know completely understand you know how autism works and I think although they like this isn't like Big Bang Theory like [ __ ] where the C the cast and like creators of big bang were like oh yes obviously we we made um you know young Shel you know Sheldon himself mildly autistic but we're not going to like you know man up and say that we did that we're going to be like oh we didn't want to actually diagnose him because we're not doctors like it isn't that lame stupid thing that um that uh big bang said it's like oh like in the first episode we literally have Jeff say to Abed like you have autism you know like we know what Abed is and it's fine like um you could also do the Disney thing where like in boy or girl me world I've seen this clip recently on Tik Tok with like girl new world where um Sabrina Carpenter's character I don't know their names and you don't know their names either where see we're in a carpenter's character here's the boy say they think I have autism she's like no you don't and like acts like he's a drug addict or something you could also do that that's offensive um but no like autism is a thing it's a it's a neurological thing that you have and I mean it's a big deal but like there's a proper way and a improper way to react to that news and I don't know I feel like I bet is pretty good um you also have of course Troy Barnes who is played by uh Donald Glover and of course Donald Glover big major successful actor um big successful like hip-hop rapper artist guy uh here is my Donald Glover hot tape that I've been waiting four months or four years of on YouTube to finally say here it is I do not like Donald Glover professionally now as a guy as a person as a human being he's probably fine I don't you know he's probably a cool guy but I am not impressed by the fact that he's a actor rapper comedian in the same way that everyone else is and I don't necessarily see him as those most insanely talented Ed person that everyone else does I just don't I don't see Donald Glover that way um I've heard some of his music it's good it's it's it's music you know it's fine um I've seen him act in other things that aren't community and he either ranges from being terrible like in um like in uh The Lion King remake or he's just fine like in that um Alex Alex Gardner no good terrible day with like Steve Carell and um Jennifer Garner or whatever you know you know like that movie which if you haven't seen that it's pretty good just watch it it's on Disney plus but like Donald Glover is just okay in that movie and he's like terrible in the uh and he's terrible in the uh you know Lion King remake but granted everyone is kind of terrible in The Lion King remake so nothing against him but like I don't see you know uh Donald Glover as this massively talented guy you know uh fine at rapping and singing and stuff and he's okay as an actor but I think he has more Talent as a comedian which is something you never hear about an actor comedian but or a comedian actor but I actually think that he's a pretty good comedian and I think that's why he's so good in this show is because he's a comedian who is given funny scripts and outside of community he's obviously found success but he hasn't found success with me I don't like Donald Glover outside of community although I you know I have seen weirdo weirdo is fun but like I don't like Donald Glover me personally outside of community um so yeah um there's a a I guess a mild hot take I don't really like Don Glover uh and I'm very interested to see what uh people think over time when if this video gets a reaction at all um very interesting to see uh you have uh an uh Annie play by Alison Bri and yeah she's fun uh she's like the love interest that we ultimately decide to take uh to to give Jeff to and she's good I think Allison Bri brings a nice bubbly personality to the character of Annie I think Annie is very likable um she's sort of the next to Shirley she is kind of like the mom archetype and she's funny uh there's a lot of good episodes with her um I will say in the episode that's like a bottle episode with in like I think season two there's like a bottle episode where she loses pins or she keeps losing her pen and makes forces everyone to at one point like stripped naked just to prove that she that they didn't steal her p P that's a little Annoying and like that's actually one of my least favorite episodes but I think Annie's Fine and I think uh Allison Bri does bring a like like a likable like adorable nerd quality to that character that I do appreciate quite a bit um and the the direction that they take her in like future season is very good because it's like oh she's still very much like that the nerdy like Mom type of character um Shirley I like Shirley I think I like her actress more than the actual character um Shirley of course was in her actress uh EV and evet brown uh Benning maybe uh she um you know she is like the like Bible thumping mother you know she she's like you know uh she she very much is like a like a feels very much like a southern baptist like I feel like I know women like her and it's fun you know uh she uh in like one of the early episodes she says um talking about abed's Dad who's Muslim she's like oh the those Muslim people aren't as understanding as Christians you can you can get your head off CH you know you can get your head chopped off of Salamis sod and like there just other moments where she acts very much like the type of Southern Baptist that I personally know that I think uh Annette Benning or I think that's her name uh does like really well that's not her name Anette B is someone else uh forgive me I know her name Annette Nicole Brown that's her name I knew I knew her name uh H she you know I think she plays surely really well um Shirley has some great moments there's an episode in like season 4 I think where um her and Jeff discovered that they have a history together regarding foosball and like it's one of the few times that we really like there's two times and this is one of them where they sort of acknowledge that even though Jeff is like a free willing Bachelor him and Shirley are most likely the same age even though Shirley's in a completely different point of her life than him they're like probably the same age and it's like it's rather cool and yeah like I like it uh br is fine I think halfway through the show espe uh I think they just kind of like lose track of what you know like I feel genuinely like with and this is really the first time that I'm kind of thinking about this show critically by the way I feel like with um Brea that was at some point like halfway through the season or halfway through season 3 and halfway through the show overall they just don't know what to do with her you know because she is a you know she is like very liberal she lived in New York she protests against you know all the all the isms and all the phobias she is a bleeding heart liberal you know um in a very annoying way and I think she's purposely supposed to be a annoying bleeding heart liberal and like that character could work like I would love to see like a comic book accurate um version of uh like green arrow one day where like green arrow is like a bleeding heart liberal and you know he should be but like he can't be like annoying like BR is but like he' have to be like but like you have to do something like perfectly like perfectly cast him and like make him you know you'd have to like figure out a way to make him work because there are so many people who would be annoyed by a comic book actor Grano um that's not the reason why he's completely different in the Arrow show Arrow Green Arrow in the Arrow show is basically Batman except wearing green um but like brda is like a annoying beding heart liberal and she at some point I think they just start to Trail off with her and so for the first few seasons she's great she's a fairly good sometimes moral compass for um for Jeff you know being like Oh if you do this you know if you do this thing but like she isn't but the reason why they Pawn that that roll off to Annie at some point is because Bria You know despite being a bing H liberal she goes in a very like problematic direction of like she forces Jeff to do something with the permise of sleeping with him while Annie can just you know be like because I know you're a good person you're going to do this at some point and like it's very much annoying that they couldn't figure out away and like that that actress couldn't like why couldn't see of left because like they do very much at some point not know what to do with BR um Chang I like Chang um he is probably one of the funniest characters on the show uh I already talked if you're wondering if you're like coming in to the live wondering why I'm not talking about Pierce I kind of talked about Pierce at the beginning just to sort of get him out of the way uh Chang I think is a really good character and is one of the ones who's like consistently funny even though he is like very much um you know not PC uh there's a thing with this show that I love that it's very much of its time you know it's very 2009 I believe that's when this show started airing yes 2009 this show is very 2009 um there are very much inappropriate jokes um there's like some homophobic jokes in like the early seasons and stuff like that like there are jokes that probably wouldn't be funny if they aired today but I think because of the creator of this show because of Dan Haron you kind of understand like oh this is just like how Dan Haron is like this is how he sees the world so it's not okay but it like makes sense if you know how Dan Haron is uh but no Chang is is really fun he's really great um there's a part uh of course throughout you know Chang's story you know he is a he is a Spanish teacher who then becomes uh a student and he then becomes a security guard and almost a fasc very much a fascist dictator at some point then back to being a student and his evolution is quite fun because it's like you know he's very much a character that's supposed to be like an idiot you know it's like what purpose do you serve you know other than to royally like screw everything up you know like what is your purpose and his purpose is just pure chaos you know um and I think that really works like there's a there's a Tik Tock sound right now that very much annoys me that's like Daddy Issues daddy issues mommy issues obnoxious obnoxious a-hole issues he's obnoxious a-hole issues like Chang and like I think the guy who plays him um you know Dr kin I actually never learned his last name I just know that he at one point had a show called Dr Ken and he is in real life a doctor so like I've just called him like for the last like decade for for a majority of my adult life because I don't know his last name I just call him Dr Ken which I'm sure is probably what you're supposed to call him um but anyhoo I think Dr kin plays this like Enigma of a character rather well and does a really good job at knowing that Ben is not likeable you know Chang his name is Ben changen Chang is not likable at all but you find a likability towards him because he is so clearly an idiot like how can anyone be so like dumb you know like I think that's the that's the beauty of Chang oh there's a there's a cast list on the back of this of course there is um now I now I couldn't know their names but uh but no I love Chang um like Chang and AED and then Jeff are like my top three favorite characters I think in that order but it but it could easily go Abed Chang no um number three is actually the dean the dean is incredible the dean is played by uh Jim Rash and the dean is amazing the dean is this like I wouldn't say overtly gay character but he is especially in like season one he doesn't really present himself as gay but he in later Seasons like objectively has a crush like a like a very sexual leaning crush on um on Jeff he you know goes around in silly outfits you know dressing up majority you know mostly as women you know he is you know the dean is great there's even like a like a season five I think or maybe season six episode called like gay Deen that is about him being a gayen and how that's like maybe it's season 4 uh and it's about like how he you know is you know a gay dean and how that's actually like really good for the for the you know Ford Greendale the college and he's just such an incredible character that I think Jim Rash did so well and so expertly without a shadow of it doubt like the dean is like one of the best characters on this show you know he he puts his name into a pun you know constantly he's like you know uh the the like duality of a man is I think one of the ones that he does and he's like literally like he's he's half in his regular like Dean clothes and half like a woman and like he and he wears like a like in season two I think or maybe like towards the end of season one he wears a Uncle Sam outfit that was obviously meant to be worn by a woman but he's still wearing it and says it's for his sister and like I just love the dean so much he's so great um there's a there's an episode episode uh where like in the later season I think it's season five where he's like talking about payday you know like oh your your checks will be coming another day and like he goes into this whole rap and he's like Barack Obama is scared of me cuz I don't swallow knowledge and I spit up for free Let Me Clear My Throat he's like I don't know where that came from and like he goes into like a rap and like the actor just kills it he's probably number one honestly I'm sorry Chang like no Dean is like my favorite character from the show it's Dean then it's Abed then it's then it's Chang I just love the dean so much and like just the absolute craziness of him is just UT like he makes the show better because at some point he just becomes a main character and it's so great um and yeah like I love the episode where he where he like becomes an obnoxious director to just to make a commercial and like he has he has like Jeff dress up like him but he has uh Chang be under study so Chang is like he's dressed up like Jeffrey dressed up like the dean you know like and like he calls him Jeffrey there's a great episode of Season 4 where um which is like one of my favorite ones and like I actually like season 4 like a majority of season 4 more than other people do like the gas leak year as it's called has a very interesting production history so really quick season 4 so the first three seasons are basically a show amongst itself as it builds into a really good conclusion of multiple character arcs and multiple story lines I have no idea who this review is for um honestly it's for Community fans if you're out there and you love Community please comment below let me know and like just tell me everything you love about the show tell me your favorite episodes like I'd love to hear them um I just want to talk to people about this show and um yeah just please like I would love to hear from other like Community fans what they love about Community cuz I've been talking you know for like half an hour about what I love but season 3 is kind of like the ultimate cination oh well uh of you know Troy going into like uh what's it called like air conditioning school and you know with like a Goodwill Hunting parody and um you know you you have you know uh changen becoming a dictator trying to take over the school like there's a combination of that and it's just very much cool and stuff like that and I love and I love seasons 1 through three and seasons 1 through three are specifically written uh and created by Dan Harman Dan Harman is the creator of the show he also creates um uh the the the titular Rick and Morty uh but it's also most of the episodes were produced and directed by the Russo Brothers this is where the Russo Brothers got their start you know before they went on to direct some of the biggest movies of all time you know um Captain America Winter Soldier Civil War Avengers uh infinity war and ingame they're coming back to do uh Avengers doomsday and Avengers and uh Secret Wars or yeah Secret Wars like they're very much like before they were bigname directors they were producers and directors of this show and I think they do a really good job with the show but like season and like season 3 is just such a combination of so many things that those guys were doing in the show it's incredible um but season 4 uh the the ratings were kind of a little wonky in season 3 so and of course uh NBC I believe is the studio that aired this show originally NBC famously didn't really like um how Dan Harmon really wasn't a like for lack of a better term super professional guy he would uh constantly be like late with um he would be late with scripts he um did not take his job very seriously where he like like um he like sexually harassed um like a writer he I believe showed up to work drunk a few times like he really wasn't a super professional person and like nothing against Dan Haron but you look at Dan Harmon and you can see that like clear as a whistle he looks like the kind of person who would get you know fired because of sexually harassing his his his his his co-workers or you know his subordinates and showing up drunk like he looks like that kind of person nothing against Dan Harmon although Rick and Morty looks really stupid I'm sorry y'all I'm never ever watching Rick and Morty it just looks so dumb but uh but like you know there's just the thing of you know but like Dan Haron looks like that that kind of a person and season 4 they get rid of him and they bring in these two writers to the showrun and like their fans community so season 4 feels very often like a season of Community but it also feels like these are people trying to imilate or you know imitate what made seasons 1 through three so good and season two I believe is like my favorite EP is my favorite of the shows overall and with my favorite episode being um well it's technically speaking a two-parter it's my favorite episodes of of community like number one are a fist full of paintballs and a few paintballs more um those are my favorite ones but yeah but you know you have you know like some really good episodes in seasons in season 4 and I do like it um you know you got Advanced introductions to um final to finale yeah to finality you got heroic Origins um I actually like like the episode um conventions in space and time uh there's an episode what episode is that it's there's an oh um her story of dance there's like a really which is like a really good episode of uh brda one of her last few like good moments where she uh in her feminist way tries to break you know push back against you know the male uh bureaucracy and makes a protest dance you know instead of a suie B Hawkins dance she makes a Susan or yeah a su Susie be Hawkins dance she throws a uh a Sophie bee Hawkins dance which is like uh the woman who sings Damn I Wish I Was Your Lover whoever that woman is she throws a a a party for her and and like it's really funny it's really good it's probably my favorite episode of season of season 4 and like it's really good and I actually really do like it also it's an It's the episode that introduces Bri Larson and Bri larsson's only in like two episodes of the show she's also in season 5 for like no season three episodes because she shows up again cuz she's in that episode in season 4 shows up in season 3 with blonde hair because she isn't filming the room anymore and is in like two episodes of season 5 um season 5 is pretty good as well um I think overall my favorite Seasons go like Seasons season so from one from best to least from best to worst I guess I'm going to have to go season 3 Season Two Season one uh yeah season five then season six then season 4 um and just know that there's like a big disparity between Seasons six and four and like I love the whole show overall but like I feel like I've talked about this with other shows season 4 is definitely a a bit of a low point where you can kind of tell that like this is like the show's like last to Raw you can tell that the creators are like okay this is probably our last go around we've been demoted from not just you know we you know we've come back from having our literal Creator fired now we're on a streaming service no one has heard of and won't and a streaming service that only exists only existed for like 3 years uh season 6 went um it streamed exclusively on the Yahoo streaming service and what you're thinking right now Yahoo had a streaming service yes Yahoo had a streaming service and I I don't know what to tell you I never heard of it until season six of community and like I like season 6 I think you know obviously Keith David is an amazing actor uh Kathy from friends um did a really good job playing uh oh what's her name you know playing essentially the replacement for Shirley you know Frankie you know like there's some really fun moments with those characters you know um but like that being said season 6 is most certainly a bit of a downgrade and you can tell that that's like that it's this show you know letting one final breath out before the lights get turned out you know get turned off on the show and that very much you know sort of sucks but I think like the show is just so the show is just so perfect for the first three seasons that I feel like the show is Pretty good overall like I think the show you know you know if I'm being honest here I think it's an 8 out of 10 the show overall I think is an eight out of 10 and that's every season every episode there are there's only one episode throughout my like three um viewings of this show three marathons that I skipped and that is uh episode one season 4 uh history 101 it's where the dean makes everyone compete in like some stupid like Hunger Games thing it's so stupid and like I hate it and that's my least favorite episode of the whole show it's history 101 um obviously I love the first Christmas episode where or not the first but like the season 2 Christmas episode where AED um it's like abed's magical Christmas uh where Abed you know uh yeah obed's uncontrollable Christmas great episode I'm sure you've probably heard of it if you've heard of the show at all it's a claymation episode it's really good um and I just love it you know it's one of my favorite episodes of the show and I think it does such a good job at being heartwarming and also still being as weird as this show you know usually is um and let's and let's just get into some of my favorite episode so obviously um you know a fist full of paintballs and a few more paintballs you know are like number one uh you got aed's uncontrollable Christmas let's just try um you got the original paintball uh episode which is called um uh oh I'm for cannot find it oh wait here you go uh Modern Warfare which is fun it's a paintball episode it's directed by Justin Lynn of um uh directed by Justin Lynn of furious of Fast and Furious Fame I talked about in my Fast and Furious video on how if we were to get another like or if that director of Justin Lynn was to be the um was to be the director of Spider-Man 4 I would not say no because I feel like he he would do a good job at having Spider-Man 4 be spectacle um we recently or like yesterday it got announced that um the guy who directed uh Shang XI or shangi is going to be the director of the next Spider-Man movie with Tom Holland that's good um I like I I really enjoyed just mercy and my mom my mom likes glass houses or Glass Castle is it called Glass Castle my mom likes Glass Castle which I think was his first movie then he does um just Mercy which I like and shangi has some second act issues but I feel like that's more it being a victim of phase 4 MC you than anything else like out of his control so yeah it's pretty good um you have uh going back to favorite episodes I love the episode where uh I love the season like three finale uh season 3 ends obviously with with Chang being overthrown as a dictator but there's also um first you know first Chang Dynasty uh which is the episode where they overthrow Ching um you have the episode where uh the the psychiatrist tries to convince the characters that this was all an illusion that this was all a shared dream because they because Greendale is in a community college it is in fact a psych ward uh in season six I love the episode the episodes where like they um where like uh the dean getss lost in virtual reality because he you know he buys virtual reality from Leroy who's played by or Eloy by from Elroy who's played by um who's played by Keith David and he's like Jesus what and like he's constantly saying that sorry if you were listening on headphones by the way don't worry I'll be quiet uh you know he's like Jesus wept because he's he's watching virtual reality and he just is really into it he's like and like I feel like that would be my dad I love my father I you know this isn't I'm not saying anything mean about him when I say this I feel like if my dad had his hands on on VR I would I feel like I would have to pry him out pry him out of it because he would get into it not in the same way that Dean does but like my dad would most certainly be like oh no son no no Dan I don't need reality I have everything I need right here I feel like that' be my dad shout out to my dad I love you Pop um um and of course surely reminds me a little bit of my mom uh there's an episode in where they like tell scary stories because R um you know uh screwed up like doing like a test so surely has to be like tell car story where dude like chainsaws everyone to bits he's like she chainsaw them to bits and then a chain Sol them again uh obviously the multiple you know the um you know the multiple timelines episode where they you know throw up a dice and it lands in different timelines that's obviously a great episode I love the first D and D episode which is an episode I didn't get to see because I watched this show on Netflix so it wasn't until I got the the complete series on Blu-ray so and I like that I also like the second uh the second one uh the second Dungeons and Dragons episode which Joe Russo came back to direct as sort of like an Ode to his to season one um and then you know you uh that was season five I love Jonathan Banks granted I think I just love Jonathan Banks because he's so awesome in Breaking Bad in better call saw better call saw by the way is my favorite of those shows but like he's so amazing in better call saw and Breaking Bad I think um Jonathan Banks did a really good job as um as what's that character's name you know as that character as the as the grumpy teacher I think Jeff I think season five or four going in the direction of having Jeff be you know finally graduated Community College in season five or in SE at the end of season 4 so what do we do with him now he still has to be on greendale's campus what if he made him a teacher and he teaches law uh there's like a Law and Order episode in like season 3 which is like a Law and Order parody and like it's really good starburns is like a really fun character how many episodes have I have I named oh miam beans is probably my favorite episode from season five I think the episode where they do mowal beans is really is like really stupid because like mow beans is like a you know is a parody of basically every social media app where we take this [ __ ] way too seriously and it's great um you know it's it's it's really good um and really fun oh um basic story and then basic sandwich which are like the season five like two-part finale is also pretty good um and yeah like I I I find love and enjoyment in like every season from this show at some point and like I genuinely do love this show and I feel like I could talk about this show forever and like this probably should have been this could have been a show where I just um and I would love to maybe do that one day with somebody granted I would love to be a guest on that but like a rewatch podcast like a fan-made rewatch podcast of the show just hey whoever is doing that call me up you know I I'm I'm on YouTube Just comment below be like hey we're and I hate the way that mil Creek does their DVDs where like their DVDs you got to it's cardboard right you got to open up the top and then dump out the the discs and they're like on like stupid cardboard where you like slide in the discs I hate that so much I'm so happy that this is like in dual cases thank you Mil Creek you um they're like they're mad about you DVD is like that they're like Quantum Leap DVDs like that uh and then King of Queens um both like that I hate that so much mil Creek you suck um but good job on this and uh comment below let me know like I said what is your
