just getting going with the ugliest uniforms in the history of the world playing at a baseball stadium sitting in a bowl of soup for three hours every night trying to watch baseball and I've sat in that stadium for years watching baseball games for years man 9703 for years for years watching big games in that stadium and you know it's funny with um with lone park now it all it just seems like such an awful long ago memory with the Marlins playing and haena and and and um and lauia and and fire sales and championships and it was just crazy Miguel Cabrera could have been a Marlin for life you think about that but the one guy that you always come back to if you're a Die Hard Bary fan when they had uniforms is this ugly right there remember those remember those Unis in that color like the stupid teal like like this teal right here like but worse way remember they had the hats that color and everything oh my God it was terrible anyway Mr Marlon himself all those years Jeff Conan Niner and now you got Griffin conine there hit his first career home run in San Fran into the bay where Barry Bonds used to hit him and Jeff conine is not there to see it neither is his wife how do inning that made it two to nothing easy Eddie Cabrera out there tonight dealing with that four seamer dealing with that Sinker dealing with that 94 M hour change up what are you kidding me man he looked good tonight five in a third six hits one run he got the win albeit not a quality start no one gets quality starts anymore black for San Francisco five innings pitch four hits two ear runs he was all right six strikeouts Cabrera had three strikeouts and two walks fche fifth save he has not allowed a home run in 51 Innings Calvin fche taking over that closer roll after Tanner Scott was fire sold to the Padres Conor Norby homered in this game to keep the Marlin ahead it ended up being um Griffin hits the home runs two zip the Giants score one in the fifth on Mike Arky yep Griffin conine Mike kmky conine YZ you know what I'm saying like all these kids of former Major Leaguers are everywhere now it's kind of funny when you think about it but Norby hits a solar home run in the sixth inning just as soon as Yas makes it 2-1 Norby hits a home run in the six to make it 3-1 then the Giants get an RBI single from Tyler for Jerald in the six to get to within one again what do the Marlins do they come right back in the seven to get one on David Hensley's RBI ground out every time the Giants got to within one the Marlins added another one and they needed it every single time because Michael conforto two harbi two hits tonight Homer in the eighth inning off Jesus tanoko who's been great all year had two bad Tings including tonight really a bad outing one bad pitch the Home Run also had a couple of balls hit real hard at people Adam balls we used to call them so conforto brings him to within one in the bottom of the eighth and then in the ninth inning it was F ended the game with a strikeout good job by him strikes out two of the three hitters he faced tanoko allowed the Winer and run but he he got the hold so did McMillan McMillan with a scoreless inning twoth thirds for curry not bad for the Marlins tonight and again you know not nothing really crazy but conine and Norby hit homers you know Stowers with a hit tonight Jonah bride with a hit and a run scored conine one for three with a run scored two RBI Hensley one for three with an RBI Two Hits for Jesus Sanchez Norby one for four with a run and an RBI they only walked once tonight OT Lopez they only walked once there were only three walks in this whole entire game tonight three walks in the entire game by both teams I'm going off camera here I got a fat headed this the computer camera the uh other camera that I have normally use is out of juice right now so um it's charging but we're using this one it's a good camera we have and you see conine look at that swing and that pitch was up remember when it used to be hard to hit home runs on pitches that were up to just you know what I mean stay underneath that ball and put the right kind of spin on it h it normally didn't work but today was a really good an opportunity for us to see right you see all the time we've talked about it day in and day out you every dayers know this we talk about it all the time here on the show what do we always say about this team only one team can what we're the World Series only two teams can play in it only so many teams make the playoffs one team wins the Division Phillies this year 19 game swing by the way Phillies and Braves this year 19 game swing on this exact date 19 games meaning the Phillies are up by as this many games this year versus last year when the Braves were up by that many games and there's the difference in games isn't that pretty crazy when you think about it but the Marlins finally got their 50th win they're going to have 100 losses you're not going to avoid that they're going to have a 10 loss month it is going to happen but all these kids that you've gotten back the norbee and the Stowers and and you look at the prospects that have come in and the prospects that have been biting their time in the system like Conan you're starting to see the young kids who can play and I joke about it and say Hey you know see how good they are be good enough to be traded next year the year after and it's a stupid joke but it's a funny joke because that's what the Marlins do and we can talk about this all we want we can say all we want and do all we want about it but the reality is we don't own the team and they're going to do what they do unless major league baseball steps in so you're GNA keep trading away anyone who gets to a number a good number and you're going to try to bring back as many good players as you can and you keep seeing the revolving door I've told you the opening day lineup and how many guys have been gone DLC Jazz Chism arise you know what I'm saying Josh Bell Puck shua Scott Ho brazan you know what I mean there's a lot of them Trevor Rogers to the Orioles pitching well the former Marlins playing on other teams that are in playoff races races right now are really playing well really playing well so you got that going and the playoffs going to start obviously pretty soon shout out to Sully on locked on MLB shout out to New York with the Marlins and be at City Field for three four straight days and yeah man I I love these road trips love being in San Fran and um and being there with the Marlins but a good win tonight like a really really solid win when a team's going well you can see certain things like there's just an attitude there's just an air about them and you could see that tonight with Miami was like Hey every time you guys score we're good we're just going to add another one you know what I mean they don't lose the pep in their step they play hard every single day and you have to really respect that Lane went to third on the ground ball with one out I didn't know he have to give anybody a sliding Lane heck is that this game so cabreras three and six he had lost his previous three starts one earn run in five plus Innings Jonathan Bermudez left-hander designated for by the Marlins before the game and here we go from the trainers room again Vidal bruhan infielder who's played a lot of positions and done some good things for the Marlin this year was placed on the 10day injured list with a right shoulder sprain so his right shoulder sprain has him on the injured list been dealing with it since spring training reated on Friday and then Jose Des the infielder cousin of Red Sox Slugger Raphael Des was selected from Triple A Jacksonville there you have it so Logan Webb's going to pitch for the
