WHY YOU SHOULD PLAY ENHANCEMENT SHAMAN IN THE WAR WITHIN

hi guys to here with a new video and this video is for the people that do hesitate on why or how or when to main enhancement Shan because I do get a lot of Whispers just in general whenever I'm in a BG like is enhancement Shan good should I play enhancement shaan I see a lot of like content creators put it in deter is it true is it not I'm going to talk about it a bit because I do feel like um I could talk hours about enhan Shan and it State and how I wish it could be or how I wish it would change or reworked or whatever but the truth and the reality is it is one of the specs where I have the most fun with I got to say although there is only like one hero Talent which is stormbringer I do feel like stormbringer is maybe times two the the fun I can have compared to my hunter that I do play as well like my hunter herons are quite boring and I don't feel like I'm playing a dark Ranger I don't feel like I'm playing a pack leader but I do feel like I'm playing a stormbringer whenever I'm playing enhance also Enhancement Shaman right now without the Buffs we are going to get buffed so that's a good thing right but without the Buffs I already feel like I'm pretty strong and yes if you compare yourself to the most meta specs it does feel enhancement sh a bit behind and people may say that it's D tier but I don't really believe in it I do feel like sometimes it does feel like it because you do get Ked pretty easily you it feels like you're always fighting a uphill battle but often or not I do feel like in random Ms in Arena Skirmish for example but also just in open world I have a lot of fun and a lot of like uh things I can do to win my battles like in Arena I I highly depend on the on the Healer obviously but the the damage I can do is a bit random and people cannot really understand how my damage is done and with Tempest and how it works whenever it procs it does a lot of damage whenever your um ascendant procs from deeply rooted dament it does a lot of damage and everything is like Smooth whenever you're playing around haste because right now I'm playing a lot of haste made a guide about it and uh it feels really great by going haste because you do get a lot more mom you get a lot of M hits which obviously will also trigger wind Fury which obviously also with storm strike it is very interesting and every time you get like 10 miles from and you're using it your storm strike is up again so you always have something to press like you don't really have something called like buying time for enhanc Shan often or not you have something to press and you have always something to do when fighting so that's the fun part about Enhancement Shaman but also the competitive part we are always going to be the underdog spec so it means that most likely we're going to get buffed at the end they're not going to get nerfed now the issue is that the nerves comes from a place called PVE so for example the 4% or 6% less damage that we're going to do next patch that is coming from PVE because in PVE we are highly efficient uh for example The Tempest Nerf on AOE above five targets that is because in PVE we're doing absur damage in those situations but in PvP you don't get to fight like more than five people at the same time especially in arenas in s RPG it is very rare already that they are all clumped up together in general it everything that is going to come next week are going to be experienced as a buff even the 4% or 6% Nerf that we're going to get that is going to be overwritten by our stor strike buff wind Fury buff uh or our wind strike whenever we're getting into ascendence and obviously our lava lash if you're playing lava lash then you also have elemental blast buff which I think will make me play Elemental blast a bit more right now I'm playing Tempest I'm playing Elemental blast I'm playing Tempest again I'm playing Elemental blast and it's very fun to have those uh choices I do also feel like enhan Shan although the the spect Tre and how it is and how uh it's set up it feels like you want to pick a bit of everything so you have like the the bad thing called choice but there is also the coin flip the other side of the coin where choice is something that is very fun to have if I want to play Lava lash build it will drastically play differently than if I'm playing like the storm like preference build that I have currently with like wind with um storm strike wind Fury and your ascendants or your deeply rooted elements for example those two builds play vastly different so basically with one spec you could play multiple uh specs at the same time so for example if I'm playing my BM there's only one build I'm going to play and that is just the truth if I'm playing Survival Hunter most likely I'm going to play one the one SPC tree that I will always play and the things that I will change are on the class tree sometimes a point or two and that's it as enhanc sh I do feel like every time I step into a situation in Arena open world PVP or even in pgs I have always something I can do differently uh from the previous playthrough and that's something refreshing for a lot of people that do are like me and they do feel like they want to Al a lot it does feel like whenever you're playing unhan Shan you you have like less the interest of alting that's my current problem with the war within I want and I always like I have the want that I want four characters being fully geared fully optimal fully ranked up fully usable but right now truth be told I only play Enhancement Shaman and I play a bit of Hunter but even then like I know if I have to choose between those two if I want to do like some honor grind or whatever I'm playing with my enhancement because I have way more fun with it and even then with Shaman itself you have two other specs that are vastly different from one other so if you're playing Shaman and you're choosing Enhancement Shaman you can also choose elemental shaman you could choose also restoration Shaman and those two are playing also vastly different so that's the uh good aspect of playing enhancement show it opens up to also two other specs that are and currently they are good uh so you will never run out in in a situation where you're playing something that you are not going to be strong with um and if you're like me and you do enjoy the difficulty because yes enhancement sh is probably one of the most difficult specs out there in PvP because you have a lot of aspects which are the utility the totems management the keybind blood because there is still a keybind blad the off heels the heals on yourself when to use your heals when to use your musroom for damage or if you're playing Storm Weaver knowing that you have to deal damage first and then you can do your healing or for example uh knowing that you have your storm strike and you you can't have to spam it because you want to have those deeply rooted elements you want to to have those Awakening storms you want to use your asra shift very smart because if you're using badly you're going to get punished you want to use your Trinket correctly and not like on a garot for example by frustration or just on a kidney that has like no damage afterwards you have to use it correctly to safeguard your uh duel or Safeguard your Arena match to know that your F Spirits are very important so you want to keep that buff as as well up at any time to know that you have your greater Purge to know that you have that feral lunch that you need to use it very smart because if you're using it whenever someone doesn't have you utiliz that Mobility you're going to get like very much behind all those things plus a rotation which I think is one of the most complex rotations are there because you need to know when to press at any situation it's very hard to explain it to someone it's like something that you can learn but you have to experiment and know that by experience you're going to press certain buttons before uh or after whenever it is going to be needed that whole package is what makes enhan Maan fun now I already made multiple videos about it I'm not want to critic criticize every single time the T trees and how it's set up and how I'm actually just disappointed that that they only have two enchants which are wind Fury weapon which weapon bu a wind Fury weapon and Flame Tong weapon where wind Fury weapon is only main hand and not off hand so obviously you only have like two choices uh either double flame Tong or wind Fury weapon with a flame Tong well it would be more nice to have more choices that aside I still think enhan Shan is one of the most fun specs and most rewarding specs to learn because this the learn the learning curve is so Steep and so hard that once you have mastered enhan Shaman and even then I myself don't Master it as much as I would like to you become like another sort of beast at the end of the day because if you're playing Fury Warrior for example and you know I was and I am still a warrior main at the end I still need to level up my warrior I still want to play Warrior I still I still want to make videos about it but the truth is if you're playing Fury Warrior the learning curve of a fury Warrior is very very low what I mean by that is the ceiling and the floor are so close from one another that you don't really see the difference between a very good Fury Warrior and a very bad one you could see the very bad one being very bad but a good one with a very good one that's that that little Gap is very hard to see you can you can see that obviously by watching streams from that guy and see look those are the mistakes that he is doing at that certain point but those are like decisionmaking mistakes not really like mechanically mistakes that you could learn in half to learn for example sub Rogue using a bad opener for example and has has the same thing as a sub Rog where everything that you're using has a purpose and you need to know when you have to use it a fury Warrior doesn't have that much um you can mess up the rotation but to be fair the rotation is quite simple that you're not going to mess it up often or the same for a BM Hunter which I play right now with my hunter I do play BM I like BM for the Simplicity as well it's rotation and how it does is very easy anyone can learn it even my son of four years can learn it it just is the decision making that is making the difference between a BM Hunter being good or a BM Hunter being bad knowing when to trap knowing when to stun knowing when to kite knowing when to use their freedom knowing when to use Roar those are the things that you need to know but it's not hard to learn right it is like purely experienced like whenever you're getting opened by a subl rogue and he used Shadow blades you want to use Roar of sacrifice if you're not using it at that moment you're going to suffer those are all the things combined with how BM Hunter plays that makes it easy or easier to master and H Hasan has like a a big learning curve to the point where their J Journey Is Never Done Right right and maybe some people would like to have like a journey being possible to be done and being able to say look this one is mastered and that's it he has 8K HP whoa that's a lot of HP um having that learning curve is something that I like about um enhance Maan like it's something I I again I I could not do enh has Maan and play F through it correctly together I don't really mind winning or losing here just want to do like some PVP uh all those things together makes me want to play enhancement Shan like it's it's fantastic how I feel rewarded for playing well and punished whenever I feel like I'm playing bad like knowing when to use my heels knowing when to to use my uh like wind Rush totem knowing when to use my bullwark totem those are all things that are very fun um now I feel like I'm a bit abandoned here uh I might just die here I'm going to use my BL work and try to reverse sweep him boom I'm dead if I don't get a I'm luy try to do a comeback here need to heal myself so I need to do damage before and then it's easy um but you see the damage I do is like is really interesting right like I'm top two Alliance I'm fighting though so obviously uh I have that luxury to to deal damage I'm not really chasing the flag I don't really care about that I'm already fully geared so I just want to have fun and like show you what enhan Shan can do but overall like there's no secret enhan Maan needs work and obviously it is not at the best state ever so we do get Buffs and that's something like a fury Warrior will not have like the the the possibility for them to get a buff is near zero they're going to get nerfed pretty much like next week they're going to get even more nerfed uh once people realize that audience Fury is not everything right so they might get nerfed even more the week after so yeah I I I think the people that do hesitate for playing enhancement Shan because that is the goal of the video to reassure you why you should maybe play enhanc Shan you should just try it and see for yourself like look is it natural for you to be able to play a true hybrid because if you really want to play a hybrid and H Maan is the true hybrid retribution plan is nowhere near of a hybrid currently like it does heal a bit but it doesn't heal the as much as I enhancement sh at the end of a BG I have close to same damage like same damage same healing and that's fantastic like I I can do and survive a lot of damage it feels like I'm a tank by the way it feels very good to be able to uh deal damage heal myself deal damage heal myself I get a proc I'm going to try to heal myself really quickly going to heal myself again really quickly so you see I can and there is no healer behind me by the way I don't have a Healer right now you see the we don't have a Healer too cool like look at look at this we have a warrior Decay there's no healer in our team they don't have a Healer either but I am the Healer uh I do survive damage and now there were a bit too much here but you see I am top healing 42 million I have more healing than damage but I am top three damage in Alliance so it's not like I have top healing and I have no damage it is a combination of both and that's really depends on uh how you play the game and how well you understand uh the spec so I'm going to try to heal him because I don't want to him die in front of me it's not ideal but at least I heal a bit and I can jump like with feral lunch feral lunch which is a free ability now everyone gets it you don't need to Talent it anymore more which is a good thing so you have some positives uh in the war within obviously uh then we have again a lot of damage and then a big heal whenever I'm done with with the death coil uh mortal coil excuse me I'm going to try to reach him which is not always easy okay kill them heal myself very close the thing is that with enhancement sh um also I wanted to bring that up is that the PVP tals are very important like you don't have a lot of specs that has that but enhance Maan you can basically play any PVP tun and you and use them right not feel like it's a point that you could just remove and don't care right like storm Weaver is such a good talent but it has also the drawback of not being able to use your mom for healing it uses a stack of storm weave to heal and which you can only get by using storm uh momm from Dage so obviously that's something you should learn using it and uh being able to oh I need to survive so I'm going to try to okay and then BL work on myself um yeah so that's all I wanted to talk about uh today's video about enhancement sh again I think uh there's much to discuss um obviously enan would be nice to play Whenever there is a ER in your team so I don't need to heal everything but um yeah I mean it do be like this where is our friend the flag flag is there should be dying that should be a kill should be also a kill very [Music] soon kind of hoped of it to proc my Awakening storms but didn't uh heal myself run they're focusing me very hard we're still top three in a damage and we are playing with a MM hunt a survival hunt elemental shaman and Hy dks even Arcane Mage arcan Mage is quite low damage wise though it's very bursty but no real consistent damage um but i' say that enhanc sh is in place because people are saying like well what is going to be the meta next week with the Buffs I do feel like it's it's going to be a comfortable beat here um based on the Buffs but I think the things that are holding enhancement shaan back are like purely the defensives and obviously as I say healing is super important so is also dampening in um in our in our Arenas games and soul Shuffle games right uh the the hunter really loves me by the way he he only targets me so I'm going to go for him so I'm going to screw him up see y now I'm going to try to heal myself heal myself up I don't think that lines does it line I don't know try to heal myself up again I think I'm dead o unlucky unlucky sh actually hits crits for a lot 700k is really really a lot then wither and then kills B doing 1.1 million I haven't seen a one 1.1 million crit from kills Bol but weird that it's written as a normal hit though Black and Soul yeah but I think enhancement sh is really um interesting because you can really do one V2s if if you're playing it correctly if you maybe if I didn't play storm Weaver I could do maybe a one V2 storm Weaver is really interesting whenever you're playing like in Sol Shuffle with a Healer uh it becomes really interesting because obviously you don't need to spend every single CD uh CD gcd as healing but um well there are too many I'm going to die here try to run but there are six or five but still a lot of healing 96 million and that that is just an indication of of actually being a um true hybrid and that is something that I wish retribution padin was a bit more or even feral R um I do feel like the the self heels the capacity to also heal your allies the capacities of being really truly a support because enhan sh is never going to be primary DPS by the way it's not never going to be all dpsing like a a true Fury Warrior that's that's normal that's never going to happen it's also is not something I would ask to get right um but having that oh come on man oh two immunities back to back try to heal myself again I think that's something I will never ask like being like better DPS than a fury Warrior that's again stun crazy they really focus me that hard man this is crazy but um that's okay I mean for me it was really pretty much a Showcase of how much damage you can do even storm strike like you see it's 10% of my damage uh with without like all those procs so once we have the Buffs for storm strike and wind strike and wind fury it's going to feel a bit better um and it does give hope again like look season one if we don't start with a with a Nerf it's perfect perfect right uh it's something that we never really have season ones season ones are always like the most terrible ones season two are the ones where we're going to feel very good and season 3es are pretty much nerves again uh historically uh but hopefully I can have a lot of fun with season one and uh being able to do some solo rbgs uh being able to um to farm Soul shuffles and trying to to get the most rating possible that would be very fantastic um I'm sapped oh can I can I blast him before well without a Healer this this V really sucks um because obviously like man I hate retribution po I like I'm top damage people I think people don't realize how much damage I like look 1.6 million it's a DK by the way and he has gear like it's not like he doesn't have gear he has gear that's too bad okay I'm dead I think yeah my gcds can't follow but uh I I truly feel like a ra raid boss like I did a two million Tempest that's that's versus the DK 1.96 million then we have our storm strike doing 200ks I like that it's also hitting two times so obviously and Tempest strikes I'm not playing with elemental blast right now I I do feel like Elemental blast is good I I I found it very fun I do play a lot of Elemental blast but I do think um the issue with elemental blast is it doesn't add up for stormbringer like it only like the every 40 miles from weapon stack spend that adds up but it doesn't help you with Awakening storms which I think it should and then it becomes like way more interesting but you see like one storm strike this is one storm strike by the way and a frost TR I guess it does a lot of damage like if if it crits it does a lot of damage like the the whole come on man oh man I need to revive the damage every single time like they're focusing me it's it feels like I'm very much targeted like there's no real reason why I'm the focus but it's fine like it means that the Mage the the the the survival hunts are the Rogues the dks to get to to have a free game uh but we're winning two zero so for the people that ask like to be to have like no healers in bgs like some some people do ask like why are healers still a thing that's pretty pretty much why they the game feels way less interesting whenever the the healer is not present uh that's that's a certainty oh man I need to heal myself can heal myself through that oh man and all right last 30 seconds and then we're going to shut down the video hopefully you do find the courage to to play uh enhancement Shan for the people that do hesitate hopefully this video was eye opening for the people that do main enhance sh and they think that they can just get away from enhan you don't just keep on playing it it's very fun uh in general the button blow is annoy but you do get um the routine and you're going to feel like okay it's okay uh we got it sticking with it and we have 118 million Damage Done way more healing unfortunately we did spend a lot of time healing this game it is what it is we have 13 killing blows you saw the footage like I had no one with me with most fights it was like me versus the world and we have a lot of healing like I'm top two like I'm top one uh most healing the DK is second um you see retribution PS being like way below there are no hybrids like even Warriors are above even Mages are above so if you really want to play a hybrid and that I think is the appeal of enhancement Shan which is like the old school support hybrid play style I do feel like enhancement Shan can give it to you like if you want to be able to do healing to do damage to be a support to be able to be annoying to the team and has sh is for you if you do like uh to be like trained by 1 V2 and you're trying to like survive and win those 1 V2s in especially in open world PVP and I know a lot of people do like that uh and h Sean has that as well like if I could film every single 1 V2s I did this expansion already I would just show you guys obviously sometimes I just don't film what I'm doing so obviously I'm not going to have all the footage but I will try to do so if I'm doing oper World PVP I'm going to try to film it so I can show you guys like the 1 V2 potential it has ings is very much like enclosed like you cannot really use the environment to save yourself or to try to gain time um but in open world where you have line of sides and you have like those heels where you can knock people off and such you can really do some fun things with enhancement sh um so yeah my true main will be enhancement on this this expansion um I do feel like very good with it I'm going to play PVP I'm going to play a bit of PVE uh and try to get even Keystone Master with it it could be very fun with it and uh in general I do feel good about the Buffs uh the Buffs will do something for enhan Shan I think people are going to be real quick and not putting it D tier anymore they they put D tier because they don't know but I think once they know that enhanc sh is in a good State just not the best state but a good State uh they're going to put it B tier I think already see that some people are going to put it a tier for whatever reason um but I do feel like it's going to be good so hopefully you do get um the message and hopefully you do play enhancement sh very soon before season starts so you can get gear and then go for soul shuffles and soul rbgs and whatnot again thank you for watching have a great say bye
