Julius Randle is willing to play whatever role on the Knicks it takes to win a championship and the NBA was terrified that this could happen because now the Knicks will roll into the season with do that please don't turn the video off this is not a Randall trade video but Ian Begley spoke out on Julius Randall and just his feeling around the Knicks and here's what he had to say all of it was positive the New York Knicks now have a championship caliber roster they're led by Jaylen Bronson as good as Randall is it's fair to wonder if they are enough shots go around between him male Bridges ogan anobi Jaylen Bronson Dante D venzo has the Sixth Man and the rest of the roster well let me tell you right now yes there is because Julius Randle appears willing to play whatever role it takes on the Knicks yes I think Randle scoring is going to go down a little bit this year I think the same thing about Brunson I think the same thing about mcale compared to what he was doing in Brooklyn I think the same thing about OG I think the Knicks are going to have a very team oriented style of basketball so they don't burn anyone out specifically Jaylen Brunson or o nobio his injury issues Julius Randle is just set up to have a career high in assists I mean he's going to be able to play one-on ones at The Rim which means he's either scoring or you're doubling him and he's kicking to a dunker spot mitell Robinson or one of Brunson mcale D venzo OG anobi Duce McBride all guys who could shoot 40% from three Josh hardt who shooting has gone way up since the playoffs now Landry shamut on the team another shooter this team is full of Shooters I am really excited about this next season and a lot of it is because how good Julius Randall is going to fit on this team Julius does not appear like he is getting traded and he appears to be very happy with his situation in New York also as Begley mentioned the 29-year-old will accept any role that's asked of him this on this Knicks team if it leads to winning Randall is a winner first and foremost and as SNY noted Randall has been excited about this team and believes the group can make a championship run he's looking forward being back healthy and with his team and things can be special with Bridges who just fits the Knicks perfectly Julius wants to win and he wants to win in New York it's why he came here in 2019 and though the frustration he recently expressed on social media was genuine it was a reaction to the false idea that the team was not selling his jersey at Madison Square Garden well let me tell you right now the person who did that big Nick energy is an absolute scumbag who threatens to sue people over stuff that if he filed a lawsuit he would lose the case there's a guy on Twitter who he threatened to Sue and I got blocked by Big Nick energy because I said no don't worry you'd win the lawsuit because big Nick energy was out there saying racial slurs on his Instagram do not follow that guy I never want to put anyone in the Nicks Community down except for that absolute scumbag so I just had to get that out of the way the fact that he's upsetting Julius Randle and actual Knicks players the stupidest thing ever I don't know why anyone listens to the guy I understand he only has a platform because he's a rich Silver Spoon child with his dad's billionaire money that is the absolute truth on that scumbag he does nothing to help this Nicks fan base unlike most of these other Knicks Outlets I try to do my best too though I've made a ton of Julius Reynold trade videos so that man might not like me very much and Julius I want you to like me man I'm such a big fan of you I need a Randle Jersey I don't have one it's such a shame that I don't because I'm I'm a big Julius Randle supporter I want this guy to be on the team I want him to win a championship in New York Randall came to the Knicks when no one else want to two when Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving went to the Brooklyn that'ss Julius R to the Knicks he's cut from that Kobe cloth he was mentored by by Kobe and he's like I want to win I will chop off my arm if it means winning I will do whatever it takes Randle didn't get surgery on his shoulder until late into May and the reason was is because he wanted even when he was injured to come back and help the Knicks make a run the man is a winner in every sense of the word he has helped change the culture in New York and I we all owe Julius Randall a massive debt of gratitude this season he is going to score probably over 21.6 points per game and if he does that he will be top 10 all time in Nicks points and I'm so happy about that as I've said I'm a massive Julius renold fan I feel like people think that I don't like him because I make these trade videos it was just the only news that was out there but look new era basketball's back in style we're 22 days out from Nick's basketball preseason so it's all good in the hood now here's the deal with Julius guys he fits really well on this team but there is worry about his contract situation and the reason is because there's just hasn't been that much movement he has a player option at the end of this year he could opt in he could opt out either way something will happen and it'll affect him like it'll affect the team in general too like whether he opts out and becomes an unrestricted free agent you have to figure that the Knicks are going to lose Julius which I don't think they will if he becomes an unrestricted free agent and then you also he could opt in you have some Financial issues with getting near that second apron but you can make it work the Knicks openly flexs the fact that they have the best salary cap manager in basketball and Brock Aller I fully trust that the organ ation will figure out how to pay Julius Reynold that is not something that I worry about whatsoever when you have a guy like Julius who clearly makes the Knicks better and you could see by the records with Julius on the team and with Julius off the team you could look at that January team when they lost two games and one of them Brunson wasn't there against the Orlando Magic that the Knicks lost by four points in a game that came down to intentionally fouling I'm not concerned I think that Julius on the team just makes them a lot better I think he is the difference between the Knicks being a good team and a champion ionship Contender that EXs need more shot creation than just Jaylen Brunson Julius gives you that he gives more offense he gives a consistent 20 and 10 every night with a few assists great passer for a power forward great passer for a forward in general I think this is going to work so well with Julius out there now taking a look at just some more Julius news the as Begley said he's a huge Julius Randall fan but the only opinion that matters is the one that belongs to Leon Rose if Leon believes the Knicks can win a title with Randall then he'll be here for the foreseeable fure fure but if he doesn't think Randall gives him the best chance to win then he'll have to trade him Randall is eligible for an extension as I already said he has a player option the 25 26 Season and can test free agency as soon as next summer so obviously something to keep in mind also as Begley mentions they noted back in July that a contract extension was not at the Forefront for either Julius Randall or the Knicks and that remains the case today less than three weeks away from the start of training camp regarding the extension Begley's not really sure or what would change between now and the start of the season to get a deal done so it seems as if both sides are prepared to go into the year without an extension and that makes sense the Knicks would owe Randall a good amount of money because he's deserved it and Randall puts up 24 points nine rebounds and five assists he was having the best season of his career before going down with an injury those stats were going up because he had just an abysmal start to the season because his ankle was not fully healed from surgery which definitely threw him off his game you could tell he shot 53% on Corner threes in the very few Corner threes that he shot most most of his threes are assisted as we like it but his number of three-point attempts are going down and we love that he's an inside scorer and the Knicks now have the spacing for Ry to be an inside score and have those one-on-one matchups and I am really thrilled to watch Julius Randall play for this team now just regarding all of this I think it's important to note it's really unlikely the Knicks trade Julius Randall it's very very unlikely if they would have traded him they would have done it by now they just would have traded they wouldn't wait this late into training camp to move Julius I don't think they're trying to it doesn't appear that they're trying to whatsoever and even if they tried to I don't think there's too many teams that would really be going out and looking for Julius Randle the only knock that you could give Randall at this point in his career is a is that he's a very particular player he doesn't fit on a lot of teams you need a very specific type of team for Randle to fit on and there is no team that Julius fits better on than the New York Knicks I guess unless you took SE yakum off the Pacers that's the only scenario and siakam's on the Pacers so the only team that Julius truly fits on is the New York Knicks or the team that he best fits on he he fits on other rosters it just this his best fit so the Knicks are not going to trade jul he's going to be here this season and he's going to help the Knicks make a massive run potentially to winning the NBA finals and that would just be the greatest
