as a seasoned copile with over four Decades of film watching under my belt I must say that the announcement of paris's fall has left me both intrigued and had aat apprehensive well it's always exciting to see a beloved franchise like has fallen expand into new mediums the absence of jard bowler from the lead role undeniably going to be Game Changer the first uh building uh on the foundation laid by Gerard Butler's iconic 2013 uh action thriller uh Olympus is Fallen uh I'm excited to share that we're embarking on a New Journey with a with a spin-off and the series titled peirs has fallen uh unlike its predecessor this uh new chapter we'll introduce a fresh set of characters uh continuing the legacy of the has fallen franchise that initially captivated audiences while I wasn't part of the original cast which included stars like Aaron eart and Angela Basset Cole Hower Melissa Leo Delan Nick dermi and Morgan Freeman um I'm you got to step into this action packed world that despite receiving mixed reviews from critics with a Rotten Tomatoes score of 50% has left an indelible mark on the action genre uh at present there are four films in the has fallen series Olympus 2013 uh Angel and an upcoming movie named night has fallen which has yet to be given a release date although Paris has fallen is part of a broader franchise it will Mark the first time in the series that Jed Butler won't be playing his role however Butler intends to start in two more has fallen films following night making him the sole actor to appear in every film so far A Part in him from Morgan fren's character Allan Trumble although Gerard Butler won't appear as a cast member for the first installment of the Hasen TV series he continues to hold significant influence behind the scenes the only possibility of his Cameo initially mentioned by deadline in May 2023 remains unconfirmed until the series debuts in late September 2024 the premiere of Paris is Fallen the first episode in the series is set for September 23rd 2024 and will consist of seven episodes overall and stepping into the realm of global action thrillers I find myself intrigued by Bower's decision to broaden his has fallen franchise with a TV series titled Paris has fallen and it could potentially Mark the beginning of multiple small screen installments in this gripping Saga uh despite Mike Butler not appearing on screen for paris's fallen uh he plays a significant role as executive producer of the series his production company G base is collaborating uh with studio canel uh a renowned French film producer and distributor to produce the show uh notably Canal plus is the exclusive streaming service for Studio Cano content uh so the series can currently only be streamed on this platform the hasf Fallen franchise has already masked an impressive $522 million at the global box office across three movies suggesting that Paris has fallen might f find streaming success in Fall 2024 and potentially grow the franchise even more
