Opening Statement uh I thought today was a good work day um you know obvious some things we talked about yesterday needing to you continue to build just an overall consistency the push I mean I thought they did today uh you know guys you know responded well I mean third down day you know a lot of a lot of different looks specific to we playing um but still comes down to details you know we got good speed on speed we're trying to trying to continue to push and grow and develop seeing guys react fast um but I was I was proud of our guys for how they how they approach today um you know like I said that we'll we'll we'll clean up things that need to be cleaned up and and the next couple days are critically important uh you in our preparation but i' like the mind that that that has showed up and you know just the physicality in the work a t of opportuni but haven't had a lot of minut feel uh I mean you know really for us it hasn't uh it hasn't showed up it was pretty good and Clemson on the before the first half in the first half of now was was one that showed up um there have been a couple where we haven't and we take either had a negative play and whether regardless of some as the situation of how aggressive we're going to be in those moments we never wanton a negative in that situation and we've had a few that have showed up um but you know it's something that we definitely work on uh you today we you know offensively had a good day uh in doing that um but you know it's it's it's a constant it's a constant push and battle of of situational football making sure we're on Point um you know and it's and it's important for us but there have been have been some successful moments throughout the year but you know obviously we want we want more and uh you we continue to work that each week and you know it's a lot of different factors that that can come into um you know being able to sustain that success and you know as as we had that you this past week um you know we started well um but had a big mistake that that kind of kind of cost us there by at the end of the first half you know ultim those are things we just got to be we have to be more consistent uh you know to to prevent you know the negative as a On coaching against Mike Elko football guy and next as an no guy do you get joy out of going against somebody like Mike ELO who's really good on that side of the ball versus what you do on your side of the ball yeah I mean absolutely I mean it's a it's a battle I mean it's a like you see a really well coached team with really good football players um it's it's hard and you know our players you know they study their preparation um you know trying to like I said put guys in position to have to be the best they can be um you know and sometimes it's going to come down to good on good and you know they have a good call and we have what we think is our best play and you got to go out there and execute it still that comes down to details and fundamentals I mean our players are are the ones that that get to go do it and U there's plenty of times in football where you might have a bad play um you know against the look and a great player overcomes a bad play uh so I mean that's that that happens and uh you know there's sometimes that it's a really good play versus a versus a look and you know you if you don't execute a technique fundamentals whatever it is it doesn't look you know like very good so uh you know that's I love I love seeing the the guy's preparation to be able to go execute with the best fundamentals uh when the moment calls for it and when that happens he usually has a good outcome we haven't seen it in in a game yet but it seems like KRON started to look more and more like the guy we saw in the spring out on the practice field yeah today I mean this week the last couple days I think he's taken it was good you know in the game to have to go out there and play I thought he played faster in the game um you know it's part of getting back in I know we've seen it with jakai and and you know guys that are transition when you miss when you miss a good amount of time you you get out there and but you you know as you get rolling and you build that confidence and you know you know kron's I think a great player and you see that you see the growth with hakee you see you've seen the growth with u you know Darion you know throughout the course of the Year guys that are you know that are right there at it helping make make you know good plays but um you know I've definitely been plays for us off from him this week I know it's not freezing On the energy around the program out but what adjustments do you have to make with the cooler weather the ball harder to catch harder to kick anything like that this is this is awesome we're saying I mean I don't it's very interesting Dynamic and and I don't understand a lot of things that that occur you know we definitely ask the questions whether I always like the response uh but um still a continued work of understanding how don't you describe the sort of the the energy around here to someone who hasn't been here in a long time what you see and feel and here around campus in town after not losing for C I mean it's a uh you know this is a special place I mean football matters you know this program matters the individuals and how it represents our community um you know this this University you know all the past players all all the students I mean it's uh I me one of the best you know programs regardless of you know College Pro I mean this is a an awesome place to to you know be a part of and so you know you feel the energy um you know we've I think I think our fan base and people around around uh you know this program have seen growth um there's still a lot of growth that that needs to be done and a lot of improvement that has to be done but um you know it's a it's a place of expectation and you know our our expectations ourselves to go out there and to get better and put the best you know the best uh uh you know display of of who we are on and off the field and I think our guys you know they've embraced that I think there's an excitement around around our fan base and just you know everybody socially with the program for what that looks like and you trying to push to that to that standard how's On QB Brock Osweiler Brock Brock do he's good he's uh he's getting back to practice um you know he's not not ready for uh for live uh action but I mean he is a work progress when it comes to that um but I'm glad he's back at practice and so uh you know not going to get into details what it was but it's it's just something he cannot play yet and uh but I like I like seeing the practice work and kind of getting back in this Rhythm and time in you know being out for a few weeks and so you know he'll be dressed he'll be dressed this week you know for the first time in a few uh in a few weeks but we will not be available um you know for this week's game you good I thank you
