2024 ACC schedule release: Cal

C see so let's take a look at Cal's schedule now as you see they start things off with UC see Davis right out the gate August 31st then how about the test on the road at Auburn week two EJ yeah that's going to be a big test I know they played Auburn incal uh last year but now they head on the road yep was a close game head out east there I believe their first home ACC game similar we were just talking about Stanford is against Miami and that's again October 5th so it should give this team at least four games four sample sizes to play some ball have a good feel for who they are and kind of get their feet wet in ACC and Coach you have at Florida State that's on a Friday night then an open day then you get Miami so two big brands of football right there for them as well well and then you continue down the line pit NC State oreg state those are no joke none of those waight for us I mean I think they personally I think their schedule is one of the toughest if not the toughest in the league especially when you add what I just mentioned go the fact that everybody you play is brand new so it's a tough tough start for California my it's my opinion yeah you get a lot of the Heavy Hitters but you also get an opportunity to to come out and prove who you are as a program true I mean they're they're a solid football team and I mean you you get Miami and Pitt NC State those are kind of the middle- of the road teams that you really want to establish yourself and be like hey if we can beat these guys and maybe we could be the upper e Line in ACC so that's a good stretch for them especially right there in the middle you said all of those on that are so tough they end things with a couple of home games you've got Syracuse at home you've got Stanford at home and then EJ Another Touch for them as they end things on the road to yeah the good thing that I noted is good weather on the back end right because at least you're in well you get Syracuse at home they play the Domin but you get them out there in Berkeley then also Stanford which is not going to be a long trip right there in the Bay Area and then you travel over to Dallas and take on SMU which I believe Kelsey will be an annual game or it'll be a non game correct withed that as well exactly between kle Stanford and SMU y couple of things that'll be different for them in the future but looking forward to seeing that we mentioned some of the travel that these teams are going to make and obviously there's some good and some tough things that come with that you take a look at the travel along road trips by time all Su D team will traveled over 20,000 miles round Trip's average away gain is over 2400 miles from Cal Berkeley so something to keep an ey from Berkeley rather to keep an ey on there with travel obviously you have new opportunities new recruiting opportunities and families that can travel all over the country to different parts of the world
