Now, even though this competition is over this week is still a really exciting week for the athletes who represented team USA finally, many of them are coming home from France. No, it hasn't really sunk in. I got a week in Paris after my last race and I got to enjoy a lot of the Olympic experience. So, uh it, it's still been a whirlwind and uh I'm excited to just relax. Now, that is 13 time Olympic medalist, Katie Ledecky touched down in DC. Yesterday. The champion swimmer was welcomed home by fans at the airport. Ledecky returns home with more Olympic medals than any other female swimmer ever. And she has no plans to slow down because she is hoping to qualify for L A 28 which is awesome. Yeah, I would think if she's four years older, uh, next time some of the swimmers might be in the picture when she finishes the 1500. Think otherwise there wasn't anybody close. You're right. She was like, they're all long gone. And as far as returning home after the Olympics, she's used to this, she's done this before. She already knows how you come back with your medals and something else.
