a really difficult game coming into this against the side in form pretty much on a way soil as well so he must be delighted with how he side dealt with dealt with everything there it's magic round is it it's not home teams is itend no listen I thought the stadium was fantastic today um Le leads played you know exceptional they were really physical they were on top of us early um you know we came up with some big moments M Rod ties tackle and George finished it in the first half we were on the back foot so you know they were playing really well and um you know we just took a couple of moments and it was but it was a hard for victory defensively obviously You' be probably be a little bit annoyed to not have the clean sheet at the end but that kind of defense do you think that kind of that will get you over the line in uh in bigger games at the end of the year yeah I thought I thought defense was good you know I still think there moments we can be better you but we were very good but you know there's a couple you know things could have gone against us and um so we can't we can tidy a few things up but I was really happy with the effort you know leads came out played a bit more in the second half as well they moved the ball around really really challenged us so you know I was happy with the way we worked for each other but I think we can tid up a tiny bit yeah Rod size hit there it's just it not it's a bit of a d first half but it's sort of lited up didn't it and that's sort of thing he's capable of in defense for me the on the Gantry I was nervous the first half thought it was a really good contest but yeah I mean Rod's just improving every week he's getting better at his um decision making and uh you know the boys love him you love what he brings so ask to get that moment M he scoring three tries on what seemed to be one leg as well after that uh injury in the first half how close was he coming off yeah actually we um we nearly brought him off about 5 minutes into the half into the second half um yeah but then something happened to the play stop for a while and we just tried to get him a bit further in the game and then I think as he kept going he warmed up a bit and uh yeah he'll be Sol tomorrow I mean um see how he's looking this week you think that sort of signifies the sort of changeing attitude he's had this year because I think he s set himself earli in the year maybe last year he'd come off with a not like that but this year he's more s put his body on the line and go through it yeah I think it's great evidence tonight how far he come so you know he's got a couple things he can tidy up but he's working hard for the team he really put team first working hard on his defensive plays if you really watched his game tonight it was pretty clean some of his stuff on the back was very good so he deserves all the accad he's getting he obviously keeps you in touch with with the top two with wig and HR will you do you keep an eye on what they're doing at all or do you just do you just have to keep looking after yourself no we just getting our job done we just getting after our results obviously I'm watching a lot of rugby at the moment so I'm seeing what's happening but yeah we just getting our job done was most important thing so Lo F given out there in the warm up how how close was he to playing today no we look we given him another couple weeks just to take the pressure off him he's trying to play every week and it's a bit it's a bit of a roller coaster of that and he was just never quite getting there so we took the heat off him G him a couple of weeks to you know really attack a bit more um you know prehab and stuff so you know we just you know there's no rush with them we got healthy Squad at the moment so there's no point taking a big risk in it well we'll we'll see him before the end of the year I we'll see him before the end of the year Joe was he just a victim of the depth you've got in your squad at the moment yeah always it's my hardest 1 to select this week H Ro missed out filing and quite a few Max wood so it was a tough team to pick this week his League lead was a focus even later on two round ask me that question like you know those are really tough game so we had to prepare hard for that you know the further we look in front the more we're going to get beat so it's just staying present winning road to not on TV is it for you personally Jimmy I is more impressed big time he was buzzing in the change rooms before the game um but yeah like I said I thought you know the the game was great um you know it was a good finishing game for the day the stadium was you know was pumping all day so it was good atmosphere out there Che guys
