hey it's Kevin Frasier from Entertainment Tonight and you are watching Bay Area sports WAP tune in good even uh good evening everyone thanks for joining our po excuse me good evening everyone thanks for joining our post game press conference after tonight's game against Minnesota United FC uh we're joined by San Jose Earthquakes forward Buddha uh who scored in the first half uh we'll start first with questions live questions here in the meeting room uh we'll start first with Abra Moria um here um we're curious uh when you were recalled from from Lan at Monterey Bay what was the conversation like and uh what they told you about what your role was going to be when you came back you know the time I when I came back it was during right before leagues cup um and uh Ian told me that he was happy with what he saw at monre uh he was a short time but uh he just recalled me back and it's like yeah just keep pushing work hard and then we'll see what happens you know there might be opportunities whatever but um yeah and then I was excited to be back for sure so next question uh paulay good evening regardless of the result let's talk about your consistency scoring the goal you were trying and looking until you get it second question as a player what would you like to change for vancuver in Seattle you guys want want to be playing away from home thank you yeah I think um you know in my opinion I think we could have done better in this game I think we could have won it we could have started better um in the game I think we uh we're not necessarily on the front foot uh to begin the game and um that's that's where we need to um correct um and then keep pushing obviously and not ConEd a goal off of a long throw for example and lose a game like that that's uh you know especially when we work so hard to get back in the game and we're at home and we're pushing and we know that towards the end you know good grab a a winner um so yeah I think we need to stop better and um yeah for me it's um happy with the goal for sure um uh thought I was going to get a second one um but um I think there is a overall there a lot of things in the game that you know I have to keep working on keep trying to get better at uh link the game do the running for the team and all of that so look forward to keep progressing right um so in the second half especially it seemed like there were you know multiple chances to to connect for that second goal it it never happened but how do you feel since you come back come back from Monterey and you're seeing you saw the team a little bit before and then after how do you feel that they're progressing on making those connections and getting closer to setting the offense straight yeah I think if you if you look at the p last couple games really since um leagues cup uh the volume of chances that we're creating has increased and uh we have to keep doing that and keep doing the right things and then uh we will score some goals you know if you see we're scoring in games um um you know regardless of the results and stuff we are scoring and we are creating a lot of chances we're taking shots we get set pieces and all of that so we have to keep doing that and uh yeah hopefully more of them would go in and we score more than the opponents question Mar it seemed like you know when you get your chance and get going into these matches you've made the most of it last time in the leagues cup you scored the game winning goal for for the Quakes and then today boom you get off to the good start and like you said you almost had another go that header uh just how are have youve improved your game justly in these last couple months with going the mon right now coming back for me it's um regardless of uh whether it's 1 minute or 90 minutes I have to you know this is what I love to do this is my dream and um love playing for the Quakes so I just want to um just give it my all all the time that's really all I can control uh all the time so uh whether I miss a chance or whe I'm in there for um five minutes and maybe I don't touch the ball or if I whatever it it requires you know just always control what I can control and uh I hope that I will continue to do that and and then I just keep my head down whether I'm scoring hat tricks in games or or not whatever so I just uh try to that's sort of the mentality that as priority to have any last questions all right thank you very much we will now be joined by head coach Russ hi this is the voice of the San Jose Earthquakes Ted Ry for Bay Area sports rap please like And subscribe to our YouTube channel
