Police are investigating an attack on a Boulder City council member as well as two others. Boulder police say it happened Friday night near 13th Street in the University Hill neighborhood. It isn't clear yet what led up to the altercation but police say a man punched city council member, Tara Weiner. Police say Weiner and the two others involved were not seriously hurt. Now they're trying to sort out the motive behind the attack. The suspect was arrested for felony, menacing as well as two counts of assault.
