what is up everyone welcome back to another PK Adventure episode today supposed to be the rav for Fest in gourman California but we had to cancel it because of the postfire so we decided just camp in Big Bear with uh but Eric and JP invited us to hit up burs Canyon on the same day so we decided to go along with them and we're going up to Big Bear anyway so just we're just going to Camp after we hit up Burns Canyon uh we haven't been to Burns Canyon before uh based on what we've seen on YouTube uh it looks like it's pretty easy but we'll soon find out but before anything else make sure to hit that like And subscribe button so stay tuned and enjoy the video so keep the person behind you in your rear view mirror especially since two of us have been here before um there are only a couple offshoots or ways you would turn but clearly there's not just to talk about his upcoming tour his smoo AR official and talked about he really di right now want to catch up withlist compare with yours got the full interview for to Che out on the sear we are right here along Burns Canyon Road uh beginning of the trail so we're all airing down and and heading up to uh Big Bear in a few minutes so everyone is almost ready so it's going to take us about I think about 3 hours to um to get up there depending on our Pace uh we're going to stop halfway on the play area to have some lunch or break and from there we're going to keep going up so Burns Canyon Road or 22 or people know it as Pioneer town to Big Bear it's a 19.6 mile road going up to Big Bear and it's it is rated as three out of 10 on onyx Offroad it is a rugged forest service road that connects the east side of Big Bear Down to the sun Bernardino National Forest so I'm just going to speed up the video so that way you guys don't get bored because I want to show you guys what the condition of the trail as of July 2024 so so far everything is smooth but it could easily change especially when whenever we get rain but I don't think it's going to rain soon so yep so this is how the trail condition is right now in Burns Canyon going up to Big Bear as of July 2024 [Music] [Music] [Music] sure [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] I'm not going to lose you so we are about to hit the first uh steep climb here in Bur Canyon so we're taking turns we we're making sure that everyone is enough space Kon that um that climb was that anything for you like did you feel like you needed to actually lock that CER diff or anything I was going pretty fast cuz I'm reckless so it's hard to tell if you carry a little momentum you can actually do the C in two wheel drive I've done it Ed you also wear shorts when it's snowing so I I don't know about your opinion on this one here at globo Jim we're better than you and we know it where's my I'm going down till I can see the GR so we are now approaching our lunch area so uh so far not too bad uh there's some steep heels and some a little bit rutted but not too nothing too crazy and so yeah so far so good so I'll catch you guys later all right so just got here to the lunch area everyone's pretty much getting some lunch ready taking a break uh how long did it take us about hour hour and a half hour and a half so it took us about an hour and a half from a Pioneer town going up here to the play area so let me go ahead and I show you everybody that's Jose here's the wife and Jesse and Oakley out here Oakley's hiding Oakley's hiding Oakley come here Oakley come here Oakley Oakley say [Music] hi here like no we'll give you a discount she's like great oh you just Reed the company uhhuh and here's Eric he's the one who invited us for this uh trail run and he also have his own YouTube channel so make sure to follow him for some uh Fort Gen R content thank you what's your channel again it's uh soft Road Haku soft Road Haku there you go make sure you guys follow us thanks Paul yeah oh on that on that driver side right there and here's JP it's also the one who uh invited us and that's Liberty hi hi's Gavin shoot uh looks pretty gnarly I don't I don't think that I'm going to try it but see yeah you are Paul NOP I'm going to watch and I'm going to video and that's Eric the Raptor guy Dan so this is like one of the obstacles and that's really a deep rut right here so I don't think the rap for could make it here you guys go yeah this one is bad also one here yeah this one is rted really bad right there and this where the group is at I take driver of the tree or passenger of the tree [Music] easy work easy work now send it wow your under chassis is super clean that's good stand stand on the side dang son easy work it's like nothing it's nothing it's like nothing is anybody in the front no one's in the front slow drop a stay straight easy great job you did it ER easy okay so lunch is over we are now heading back on the trail so we we're pretty much close to Big Bear now um I think from here it's about less than an hour so we're we're just going to continue on and um make sure when you guys are driving up especially from here on out um enjoy the scenery I mean the scenery um on the way up to Big Bear is really beautiful so you know look at your surroundings take pictures you know just you know just take take your time just enjoy the scenery and this section here is a little bit Rocky but nothing too crazy there's a bunch of um sharp rocks so you don't want to pop a tire especially if you're uh driving on this and any train that are rocky so you always want to drive slow make sure you don't damage but you know aside from these I mean these are not not too too bad uh yeah like I said just take it slow you know uh take your time we're not on a race here so just enjoy your drive up here [Music] [Music] sure [Music] [Music] go [Music] okay so I think uh this is the end of it so we are finally up here in Big Bear uh we're just going to try and find a parking for everybody so we could start airing up I'm not sure if we actually need to air up cuz we are still going to our camp site um so yeah we're going to park here for now and then um I will catch you guys in a bit all right so we just got here at the end of burns Canyon so some of the day Troopers are airing back up but some of us are going to keep going and go to a hulon valley so we're going to Camp there for a night uh I think it's going to be seven or eight of us okay so we are now heading up to our campsite uh we are driving now along I think the 18 by yeah we're all by Balwin lake so we're going to take the either Poli Canon or vanen Canyon going up to uh hul home so it's a short trip we didn't we didn't actually have to air up um so hopefully we get some uh good spots still I'm not sure how many people are going to be up there today so yeah we'll find out so we finally made it here to our campsite uh so everyone's just setting up trying to relax after a long day of trailing uh this a perfect spot right here uh shout out to JP for bringing us to this campsite um yeah so we're pretty much setting up and trying to relax after a long day of trailing cuz even though you're not doing the super charging like you could at home you're still going to get like 120 130 cuz uh last time we went out I tried switching it to the back 12T front 12 volt and then I have a a regular 120 in the car and it was doing weird things so we got home but yeah mine's acting up to I have yeah I'm usually more about getting the I was going to say oh my God I and later on that night we decided to do a night run to test out our lights and we also decided to stop and check out the Belleville cabin so we just did a night run um we're going to stop by here at the cabin real quick at HC we're going to check it out guys want to check out the cabin there's lights the down there that's a road yeah there a road on the other side yeah yeah I know huh nice cabin writing on the inside like man [Music] now is the loop going back [Music] okay so that would be it for uh today's adventure hope you guys like the video and again uh appreciate you guys tuning in to the channel don't forget to hit that like the Subscribe button and appreciate you guys
