a substantial early spring snowfall will be impacting eastern Ontario and Southern Quebec today went through southern Ontario on Tuesday now it makes its way down the 401 Corridor into the Ottawa Valley with heavy rainfall rates for your Wednesday evening commute home quickly transitioning to heavy snowfall rates in the overnight hours for the Eastern townships into Montreal now that begins to ease once we get through uh Thursday afternoon into the evening hours but know that the commutes will still be fairly messy because this is a very wet dense snow so expect a slower commute now in terms of the rainfall we're going to see the largest amount throughout Kingston towards Cornwall Brockville with 20 to 40 millimet now as we head towards Quebec those rainfall numbers start to drop off and the snowfall takes over we could be seeing upwards of 15 to 25 cm throughout the Montreal area 223 CM for the Laurentian mountains as well as the Eastern townships as we head up the St Lawrence opposite laier could see that 15 to 25 cm as well Ottawa 10 to 20 cm happy happy April guys when gusts are also going to be very intense as well getting upwards about 74 km an hour in Quebec City there throughout Thursday afternoon continuing into the overnight hours now this could lead to some power outages uh as well as with this heavy snow this could also lead to some downlines uh so keep your eyes out on the road and stay up to date on your local [Music] forecast he
