all right everyone so Brena you answered a question about the whole contract Saga and all that here's what he had to say very frustrated but John said that at that time you know once things get done everything is forgotten felt any Bru feelings during this time but is it true like once everything's done you're like I love you all uh I think uh I think think uh I'm not going to lie I made it a little bit more difficult than it need to at the end um but yeah it was I mean it was it it was like that from from I I'm not going to say the whole entire time but uh for about the past month I think we were we were pretty good last one so listen I think if you're a 49ers fan this short 402 clip is the best thing you could have seen um from Brandon iuk because and and we mentioned this we've been talking about this story for the entirety of the summer and even before I think the big media was picking it up we talked about this story from the moment after the Super Bowl that first little interview he gave where when he was being you know whatever reporters were asking questions in the locker room and you know you could just tell something wasn't right we were saying look this is a problem for the 49ers this is going to be something that drags out in a big way and it did right of course it ended up happening it draged dragged out and it was bad in the sense that you know he didn't get a full training camp and so it might take a little while for him to you know get back into game shape the thing here is when you're watching this clip is the fact that Brandon auk is sitting at the podium he's sitting there saying you know what looking back on what everything that's happened I made some mistakes this past month in terms of making it harder than it needs to be what that shows to me is a relationship that is 110% fixed now I don't know if you know does Lynch or Shanahan feel a certain way you know deep down about like man you know this was a kind of a joke this was stupid and it really hurt us maybe but that doesn't really matter because they're going to suck it up what matters is is Brandon auk clearly feels like you know what we got the deal done I wasn't perfect and the 49ers had my back in terms of they gave me the contract in the at the end of the day that I wanted and looking at that you just have to if you're a 49ers fan especially have some sense of relief that we got past it you know this isn't even Trent Williams you you listen to what Trent Williams is saying it's just a sense of even though there was this kind of this contract negotiation even though there was this fight at all points Trent Williams and Brandon auk wanted to remain on this team and if they didn't want to be on this team especially if it's Bron auk Brennan auk he would have been gone there was trade offers on the table and I think that maybe is what kind of broke the whole thing open was when these trade offers came in and Brandon iuk saw wait a minute the 49ers they're doing what I want in terms of giving me these trade offers but I don't want to leave here I want this contract I think that maybe is what in the end fixed the whole situation is when he realized I want to be here I just want to get paid um what I think I'm worth right so I think if you're a 49ers fan you should be watching this on repeat because it it does it doesn't quell my fear of okay it's going to take him a little bit of time to get up and going but in the end if he could just get into game shape by you know week four week five and he could be the same brand and iuk we've seen then that's not going to affect their playoff run necessarily that might just affect them for a short period of time but that's the only thing this doesn't quell those fears but overall it looks like you know this isn't going to be a situation where halfway through the year there's you know Brandon auk's upset again or anything like that so thank you all for watching and we'll see you next time
