this is midy rods this Nathan Goodley here with an update to your Saturday night forecast well we are looking at a mile night across noreast Indiana and Northwest Ohio there is the slight chance for a popup shower or thunderstorm most of us stay dry though as temperatures dip down into the 60s down the 66 degrees in Fort Wayne notably warmer compared to the past several mornings around here if you're looking to make it tea time though on Sunday while your Best Bets going to be during the morning hours as we drop the rain chances temporarily and we see mostly sunny skies along with cooler temperatures compared to what we're anticipating later in the day as clouds increase we reintroduce a slight chance for a shower or storm and we climb all the way up to 90 degrees in Fort Wayne when you factor in that high temperature with the humidity it's going to feel like the mid90s at most by the time we get to the evening hour so stay cool and hydrated as you're heading out and about later in the day we're going to be up at humid on the muggy meter Sun and Monday but then a big jump in the humidity on Tuesday as we go all the way up to oppressive it's going to feel like it's over 100 degrees at times on Tuesday so really take it Easy by that day and we come back down to the humid category at the time we get to the day on Thursday take a look at the exclusive 10day forecast look at this late August Heat Wave we are dealing with four straight days with high temperatures up in the 90s including the hottest day being Tuesday up at 94 4° now we are watching for some slight precipitation chances as well we talked about the one tonight and into the day Sunday another one shows up Monday night and the Tuesday and then Wednesday and Thursday still some slight chances but the best chance comes on Friday as we track a cold front through the area which bring us scattered showers and thunderstorms perhaps the storm lingers in the Saturday as well but temperatures cool a bit highs in the low to mid 80s over the weekend then 70s making an appearance by the time we get to the the 10day forecast including on Labor Day so just stay safe from this late August heat way we certainly aren't used to temperatures this warm and humidity levels this high so stay cool and hydrated throughout this upcoming week
