49ers Deebo Samuel Weighs In On The Brandon Aiyuk Contract Situation

to the offense um been really impressed um you know uh going back and watching Ricky you know he's very fluent in out of routes and he got really good hands what kind of advice are you getting to Brandon during this time um much as I can actually I know this a stressful time and you know um you know he's he's done a tremendous job throughout his career here and you know um when when it comes to things like this you know it get tough and you know some things you kind of take personal and you it's just like overall it's just a it's just a stressful process to be honest with you K said Rick's working at all three positions do you remember as a rookie how hard it was to try and pick up on all the Nuance nuances of the offense oh yeah for sure um it's one of the most complicated offens I ever been a part of and you know it's the only one I've been a part of so um still to this day it's still new stuff in week in and week out when you went through the process that R is going through right now did you feel like the stress of it affects you in any way that year oh yeah for sure um you know at the end of the day you know um you want to get what you deserve and at the end of the day you hope it happens but um it's not going to happen in a timely manner that you want it to happen it's just you know it's just a waiting game and just you know in this situation you just let his agent communicate with them and they communicate back and it's just a back and forth for a long time what's it been like for you having gone through that process two years ago now to see so many other wide receivers almost on a daily basis getting theirs do as do you take pride in that position to see what other guys you get oh yeah for sure um it just shows the all the hard work that other people put in and um people just get what they deserve your name c kind of was brought up too around the tra and John and how did not deny that they just take calls on you on brand on anybody did you hear that and what was that like to hear um yeah I heard it um know had a conversation with my agent about it you know that was going back and forth with whoever it was but um it was a thing at first but you know um we didn't move past and so we here and we here to get better it's been noted that you know you don't have a lot of money next year so possibly they could they could get out from that I mean do you you realize that when you signed a deal almost or does it hit you now this might be your last year I mean um you know at the end of the day you know uh contract was sign um I know what I signed up for and U we just focus on this year seen a lot of veterans not participate in OTAs and mini camp why was it important for you to be on the field for OT um I came back phase three uh last year as well so it's just like um the routine that I built and you know I'm always been here M mini cam so I mean it's routine I Amo why why the change to number one and how does it feel a while U it was good U that was the only number I ever wore in my life so um you know I always wanted to go back um I actually offered Jimmy some money not to wear it that year that he wore it and uh you know he wasn't going board but he just sold it to step for him but whatever so I mean it was cool to get the number back and just you know um get the Sam Samuel Sor on the back of my jersey kind of represent me and my son TBO what are you do in these 40 days between now in Camp do you ramp it up do you run do you what's your work does your workout change for sure you got to take a break um um take my son to Disney Disney World wherever he want to go where his mom got a play I'm not a player I just you know I just go and have fun and then after that uh I ramp it up and get ready for Campa getting a new extension oh um when I seen he came back I kind of wanted some money from one of my teammates they said he was come but I knew he was coming but you know um nobody want to give up money but anyways um it was It was kind of cool to see it get done you know um like I said um it's just good good to see people get what they deserve and at the end of the day we move past and we just getting better and better every day will you work out with huh you work you work out with Trum Williams sometimes right H not really sometimes good thank you guys
