but with further Ado as requested people been hitting me up on Instagram on YouTube asking for like breakdowns so moving forward when Chicago plays when the Yankees play When the Ravens play when Colorado plays when the Lakers play I'll be doing next day breakdowns of the offense defense or coaching miscues today I want to do Chicago's offense versus the Los Angeles Sparks point out a few things a few a few pointers that I think Chicago can work on going into the off season even getting ready for the playoffs that they can kind of quick little tweaks they can fix with practices coaching uh discussions fume study so uh with further do we'll get into a couple plays I'll play them first and then we'll bring them back so we can really break down talk about how can the Chicago Sky get to a point where they can fix those things even with two rookies as their anchor um but again it's really just about finding ways for Chicago to improve going into the playoffs thing that I see from being a point guard things that I've observed things that I look for are knowledge about knowledgeable about as a point guard uh but let me share my screen and I'm going go ahead on and we'll we'll look through a few and we'll we'll we'll break them down so first first of all this is the first play of the game the play was supposed to go to cardosa as a right side post up but it didn't work out that way because we'll go through it first and then we'll we'll talk about why it didn't work out that way so it makes better sense so this is the first play of the game the first if you watch Chicago scy the first play of the game they always go to cardosa to get her involved in the game and kind of suck the defense in so their guards who's ever doing pop outs can actually get open most teams usually run that if you got a solid big but let's go ahead on and play the first play they will'll break it back down so this is the first play of the game they're looking to go to cardosa injuries pulls up brick but if we go back let's break it down and I hope y'all can see my cursor uh if not uh just kind of follow along with what I'm saying but if you actually go back to the start of the play you see Angel and Trinity Carter Trinity Carter is going to run a brush screen for Angel Reese that's basically like trying to get a matchup but they don't really bite on it because Ham's kind of playing back because he wants her to shoot so the the play that they're trying to run with Angel the brush screen really is useless chin cter color literally just ran to the other Wing cuz the way Ham's playing you didn't even need to screen but and we'll pause it right there after we after she does the brush screen so if you can see she kind of does the brush screen across because she wants to see if they're G to switch and Ham's gonna go over the uh under and guard her and she wants to see if Kia nurse is going to get on Angel because if Kia nurse switches on to Angel they'll possibly go to Angel instead of cardosa cuz if you watch the beginning of the play even right now cardosa actually isn't even really even trying to get the ball because I think the first play was for Angel Reese to try to get a Mitch Match but ham is playing off of Angel Reese so if we look at the play right now Angel Reese is at the three-point line with the ball you got Michela she's gonna go to the corner you got cardosa they're going to play high L with Angel Reese and cardosa but the way that the the shooter in that corner she isn't a respected shooter if you're going to run that post up just overload the left side of the court and just let them play high low Angel Reese and cardosa only but if we look at the play rakia Jag is going to cheat over because she does she isn't worried about Michaela shooting the ball and that's going to force Angel Reese to make a decision so if we play it you'll see how M uh Ria Jackson stayed home Hami stayed underneath and didn't really care about her actually shooting the ball so again it's really like steps to it so as we play as we play it back one more time we can fully like kind of talk about it and digest it so in order for this play to work Michela really has to go to the other side and overload the left side of the court for that play to actually be successful which I wish he would have did I wish they would have just let them play high low angel re and cardosa and kind of go from there but apparently they didn't and again that's things that in practice they can work on film study as far as like how they want that high low to look when Angel ree has the ball and her person is playing off of her right and cardos is trying to post up especially at the beginning of games because you don't really know what they're going to be running their defensive set so if you do want to run that play it's probably better to just overload the other side and just let them play two on two basketball to see what look you can get out of it but again that's something that I hope they kind of fix and we'll kind of get into a lot of that later row on as far as like being better at overloading one side to get a better option on the other side even when we're swinging the ball so we'll go to the next play so this next play is very very weird to me was it I don't understand what they were hoping to get out of this so again we'll go back a little bit we go back a little bit if we watch Lindsay Allen has the ball cardosa comes set the left side screen he's if we look right now he's about to penetrate left cardos is about to slip screen she didn't set a hard screen she said a slip screen that's two different kind of screens a a hard screen is you stay stationary a slip screen is hard tap and you flow to the rim so cardosa does this a lot and jice does this too again at the end of the day the point guard's job is to see the screen see ball see Rotator again if you watch cardo's uh the person that's guarding cardosa she stays at the elbow because she doesn't know what Lindsay Allen's about to do you got her turning her head you about to have Hami if you look in the paint Ham's in no man land that's what we want Hami at because at the end of the day Hami isn't a great rim protector we don't look at her as a rim protector you want you want Hami trying to protect the rim against cardosa and Angel re oneon-one you got the play that you want but when you don't have a point guard who understands how to run a offense things like things like this is going to happen cardos is literally going to be open on the slip screen for some of you if you ain't played basketball before it might not seem like she's completely open but I wish I could take a 3D version cardosa is literally open on the slip screen and Lindsay Allen never picks her head up she does that a lot off of screens Lindsay Allen just sets screens and she never picks her head up I wish she would do that more than picking her head up but what she does is she doesn't even look her way she gives the ball to Angel Reese and we're gonna run through it I'mma show you what she gonna do when we're we're gonna stop when it gets to Angel Reese it gets to Angel Reese look at this place look at cardosa cardosa is literally open when she came across the screen but she dribbles with her head down so much on screens if you're going to be a point guard running pick and roll you can't dribble with your head down because the objective is honestly to hit the roller before you find your shot your shot comes off of how the high low person plays which was number 22 on the Sparks that was guarding cardosa in this instant it's about if she's going to stay home your shot is there but if she's going to rotate and turn her hips towards you which she did her hips were literally toward turned towards Lindsay Allen so that bounce pass she didn't even have to bounce pass it she could literally lob that ter cardos and she would have been open but her head was down and she decided to give it to Angel Reese who's in the paint with three Defenders around her because if you watch Ria Jackson is literally in the corner but again Ria Jackson doesn't have to worry about Mela because Mela isn't an actual shooter so she can help and Angel Reese is literally going to be in no man's land unless she can quick touch pass it to cardosa but that's hard to do when you got three players crowding you on a pick and roll screen pass inside but we're going to play it and we're g to show you and again Angel re scores but that's a difficult shot so so let's go back let's watch it again cardosa slips no pass to her we give it to Angel Reese with three people around her and Angel ree has to play bully ball again that's what I'm talking about with the offense and just understanding how to move and be in the certain areas on the court it ain't really X's and O's it's not plays you move to get to certain places on the court and you kind of go from there but we do a lot of catch the ball and then react know what's going to happen before you're in part for before you're part of the play should be a next step in the evolution of the Chicago Skies players and that's something that they can literally work on at practice because it's a team aspect we're not talking about individual stuff we're talking about playing together as a team figuring out how to move the ball without a play being drawn up and just understanding where your players are going to be on the court that's really a i thing among the players and how they need to start playing together so again Angel ree does get the shot but it's a tough tough it's a tough shot that no one really no coach actually wants again this this is the second play of the game this is look we're overloading Angel rees's side even if she tries to kick it out she can't because it's overloaded so the next play this is a this is a out of- bounds play our out of- bounds plays are really like horrible sometimes I don't know what we be doing again brush green slips give her the ball give her the ball give her the ball let's go back back let's go back this play was harder than it needed to be because again Lindsay Allen doesn't know how to read screens this play was literally set up this play was literally set up for cardosa to get the ball at the elbow and make the the next pass but Watch What Happens Lindsay Allen gets it cardosa does a left side screen he penetrates right there she's supposed to get the ball and what's really supposed to happen is if you look down at the bottom Angel Reese is setting a back door screen on Kia nurse Kennedy Carter really had a back door layup if Lindsay Allen gives cardosa the ball in this moment look at everybody look at everybody mckel is still in a short left corner Lindsay Allen coming off the screen she shouldn't even have the ball right now the reason they both went to her because they know she's going to pass it to cardosa because she she ain't do it the first play so now the defense have read what she's going to do and they know she they're not going to she's not going to give cardosa the ball off the pick and roll and it was literally another slip screen give cardosa the ball because if cardosa gets the ball chinny cter has a back door layup because Angel Reese has a screen set on Kia nurse who's right there she's literally has a screen set on her at the elbow so again we make plays harder than they have to be and watch what happens chenita Carter gets the ball in the corner and she has to make the pass when and again we have to find easier offense like that that shouldn't even had happened chin Carter almost fum with the ball out of bounds because it wasn't it wasn't even really supposed to go to her right there and that's what I mean about sometimes you know you got people that watch basketball you got people that actually understand and know the game and can read a play even when no one's talking about it and that was a play that I noticed another play happen that we'll talk about as well we really make the offense harder than it has to be and I understand we don't have a facilitating point guard but it's just really about moving the ball to the right person and you don't need Rond or Steve Nash to do that that's really like IQ more than passing ability it ain't like you got to go around a Defender you see you see a cut before it happens no that's a simple scream and you give the big the ball she's at the she's at the elbow she's inside the elbow give her the ball again run it again give her the ball right there and chiny the Carter has a back door and if she doesn't have a back door she has a pull up jump shot right there because Hami isn't coming out the paint next play down here we go another one we just make the offense harder than it has to be again that that's you don't you don't do that like that's not offense again if we look at the play Angel Reese is at the elbow you don't have to force that pass to cardosa Angel Reese can get her a better pass because when Angel Reese gets it the other person that's guarding kadosa they're gonna have to swing across because now they got to get to their man because we made the next pass and again I know sometimes we want to force it to The Bigs but there's better options when trying to force it to The Bigs than just coming across and just coming across half court and just throwing it down to them she's not even really set she doesn't even have she she doesn't even have the defender pinned yet and again this is parts of the game that make the offense hard that we need to clean up again let's run back through it we're gonna set up she look she's not even she's not even set look at this look at this look at this why would give her the ball right there why would you give her the ball right there you don't give her the ball that's see that's what I'm talking about look at angel Reese at the free throw line why open if Angel Reese gets this ball Hami can't double anymore let Angel Reese make the entry pass you don't have to you don't have to force it when he gotta you pass to the next man to make a better entry pass and that's what I mean just about like understanding who to give the ball to and that has nothing to do with being a point guard that's IQ and just understanding the nuances of a offense without a set being drawn up for you again these are professional basketball players again give Angel Reese the ball we'll play back we'll play it back we'll play back give Angel Reese the ball and she can get the entry pass because see how Hami is right here see how Hami is right here at the free throw line with Angel Reese she sees chined Carter trying to force it down to cardosa so she comes over to help as soon as she took a step inside the paint you should have gave it to Angel Reese right here right there right there look why you didn't give it to Angel Reese why did you force it to the outside shoulder of cardosa she's not a great dribbler she doesn't have great footwork you don't want to put her in those positions that have to make tough decisions like again great dish off by cardosa but the layup doesn't happen because we started how you start an offense is how you end the offense if you started me messy with low IQ it ends with low IQ so Watch What Happens they just play Hot Potato they just play Hot Potato look you got three people in the paint they just play Hot Potato and can't get the layup and we end up with a turnover again that that's that's what I mean about and again there are some people who are going to attribute that turnover to Mela but she shouldn't even have been in that position because if chined Carter would have made the right pass instead of the forced pass again in basketball they teach you in like a seven grade Au I learned that make the right pass instead of the force pass I don't care if that's Michael Jordan right there you make the right pass you let the next man Defender come to them that way cardosa can get one-on-one because all cardosa had to do was literally when she caught the ball when she when Angel re would have had the ball right here AR cardosa had to do was literally slide across to the Middle where the charge circle is because Hami would have came to her but instead Hami seen red Trinity Carter's eyes on a forced pass let's just get better at that let's stop forcing passes and just make the offense a little smoother we play clunky offense because we we force passes and make dump decisions clunky offense this we'll run through it one more time clunky this was this was clunky offense again she's already fumbling the ball before she even get before half court look clunky offense look at this clunky offense we we just play Hot Potato we just play Hot Potato look look hot potato bad shot after bad shot none of them touch the rim mckaela gets it and she's not a ball handler you put her in that predicament and again at the other end they missed the layup and why we do why we do when we come down watch this watch this this is funny chin Carter is one of the I've been saying this I said this last night on my stream let's let's play that back let's play that back Trinity Carter is one of the fastest in toin players in the WNBA I think she's the fastest watch what she does instead of going into there you already got you already got Handi in the paint you got two guards on you instead of forcing that this was a smart play by her and this is why she makes a difference when she on the court Lindsay Allen having the ball and she's on the court watch this she doesn't force it she backs up she lets cardosa be her distraction it's called a distraction what she really does is she lets cardosa take her man from the basket and cardosa is gonna do something totally different later on I got another clip she's gonna do something totally different later on that's going to mess up a angel Reese but this time cardosa was smart enough to read the the court and really understand and chinny de card was quick in her IQ again it's all IQ like it isn't nothing teaspoon can teach them it isn't nothing uh someone else can teach them it's just all IQ and just under understanding the basketball court when they're out there their job one of their job main jobs is it's all mental understand the movements on the basketball court and how can you get a bucket so watch what she does she takes advantage of cardosa staying outside and bringing her man from The Rim which gave Trinity Carter and let her use her best ability which is speed to get a open layup because it's oneon-one again cardos is in the corner she pulls her man from The Rim look at angel Reese Angel ree is in the far Shar corner on the right side the pain is open and chined Carter realizes that but she she wants to see what the Defenders do before she makes her move and once she realizes that it's one onone watch what she does again easy offense if we just stay composed look we didn't rush anything nobody came begging for the ball nobody came crowding the paint cardosa stayed where she was she let chined Carter do her thing that's what I mean about instant offense it's really just about being smart let's be smart we could have instant offense if we're just smart on the court so let's be smart again it's simple it's it's it's it's real it's real simple we just got to do a better job and just understanding what we're doing again what's up the what's up what's up man welcome in welcome in share like subscribe everybody it's free I'm trying to get to 100 subscribers by the end of the weekend I think I'm at 72 tell a friend to tell a friend again you ain't gonna get this anywhere else this that this that this that real real breakdown you ain't gonna get this anywhere else but again let's get better at what we do on offense next play let's go to the next play next play Lindsay Allen has the ball again she gets off of it great again we always talk about angel Reese and her mechanics why she doesn't take those shots so let me give you some insight when you're a basketball player no matter what the fan say no matter what a teammate a coach might say at the end of the day on Court confidence is a real thing like I need people to understand that like I I hear casual fans so much say take that shot take that shot onc Court confidence in mechanics is a real thing that affects how players play again Hami is going to play off of her all night long again angelice is never gonna take that shot consistently until she builds mechanics and confidence in the areas of the floor that that shot is available and that won't happen during the regular season because it's all team oriented you want her to take that shot more she's going to have to get in the lab during the summer get with a shooting coach work on her mechanics because if you're watching when she first catches the ball she isn't even thinking about shooting pay attention we'll play back we'll play back we'll play back we'll play back pay attention play attention she's really trying to run a set look it's not even about her getting the ball she's really trying to run a set and no body's open she's really trying to run a set cardosa is trying to slide across the backside to post up but Hami is playing so deep in the paint it's not going to be available and hamy was doing that all night once Angel re get in the lab this summer works on her mechanics and her onc Court shooting confidence because it's a confidence theme it's not really the shot is available you should take it you're a basketball player casual just think because you're a basketball player you just do everything on the court that's not how basketball works that's not how basketball players Train That's not how basketball players think we have certain attributes and we just stick to those and we just improve in the nuances of how to do those things well think about the NBA Draymond Green gets paid a hundred million and has never developed a shot because that's not the nuances and the mechanics of his game his game is really more of a Swiss army knife his game is really run the floor be a distributor his game is really more of a more of a a a a point forward his game isn't to catch the ball and open spaces and shoot so his mechanics his court confidence his court awareness doesn't tell him to shoot she if you watch this play she only shoots this ball because she's forced to she doesn't shoot it because she wants to because if she would shoot if she would have shot it because she wanted to she would have shot it already while Hami was deep in the paint and again some of these things about her game does limit the offensive sets that we run sometimes so that's why I'm not that's why I'm not hard on tpoon sometimes because the players do limit the offensive sets a coach can run by their limitations in their game so this it'll take this off season she's not going to start shooting it now she's not going to just wake up one day during the playoffs and say you know what I'm about to start taking that 15f footer I'm about to start taking that elbow shot that's not how that actually works you work on that in the off season and then you improve so again Hami deep in the paint because this play is really supposed to go to cardosa but cardosa can't pin her man because Ham's helping so again Angel ree is going to be forced to take this shot you see what I'm saying she she only took it because no one was open and it became a lbow because she wasn't confidence in it again you have to be confident in that shot watch how she watch how watch how she shoots this she's hesitating she she don't know maybe I'll come in some most of the time those shots never go in because you wouldn't confident from the beginning it became an air ball again next play down Chen Carter off the screen she moves it I want I want stay with me for a minute stay with me for a minute stay with me for a minute Izzy is about to drive me crazy this whole play Kennedy Carter did a great job like I talked about Lindsay Allen earlier CH uh Izzy literally did the same thing that cardosa did twice and Lindsay Allen didn't give it a ball this time it was Trinity Carter and Izzy Trinity Carter literally gave it the ball and y'all say trinity Carter don't pass last night she had CER high and with seven assist she does pass the ball when you actually move and tpoon doesn't run enough pick and rolls with her I wish he would tpoon runs a lot of high Wing ISO with her and I think she needs to get away from that because it puts uh Trinity Carter in like tough positions when you got seven seconds on the shot clock and you're like in a wing ISO and you got four eyes on you so I wish we would get out of that a little more because they don't trust our Shooters enough for her to run that like you need to have Shooters on the court to to run that Wing ISO LeBron did that LeBron did that Wing ISO a lot when he was with Miami but guess who he had in the corner Ray Allen or Mike Miller was if you go back and watch film from Miami when LeBron would catching on the wing with seven seconds left on the clock notice some notice a shooter was always in the corner so they man can't help Lind uh Lindsay Allen doesn't know how to run screens right she she she keeps her head down too much chin Carter does run screens right but we don't run them enough for her but again if we go back if we go back through the play if we go back through the play Kennedy Carter does the right thing she come she comes off the brush screen from cardosa give Lindsay Allen the ball right here all Lindsay Allen all all Izzy had to do this is all Izzy had to do I'll let you see it before I before I tell you she literally just had to make a simple pass and she doesn't all she had to do was catch the ball and be patient again we talk patience in offenses that's that's not your game that's not your game you're you're you're you're downam near 17 feet from the basket and you're trying to play one-on-one basketball with a with a rim protector she number 28 is a rim protector for the Los Angeles sports that handy you try to go oneon-one ISO from the wing 17 ft from the basket but watch what's happening when when chinny de Carter gives her the ball all she wants her to do is be and you can see her yelling but she doesn't hear her like go back and watch her watch her watch her watch her face when she gives her the ball you can see her yelling but the camera kind of pans off of her but you can see her saying hold on because all Trinity Carter wants to do is get her man to turn her back and she got a back door cut but look what Lindsay Allen does I want y'all to understand how basketball actually works Lindsay Allen is the reason chined Carter didn't get a back door cut because the number six is guarding uh Trinity Carter I'm I'm sorry I keep saying Lindsay Allen talking about Izzy number six is guarding chinned Carter Izzy takes the ball one on-one instead of being patient and Trinity Trinity Carter is about to have a back door layup all cardosa has to do is move cuz Camila uh I mean Michaela is about to come across Mela is about to come across to the three-point line so that back door is about to open up because Ria gota go with her all she again the the person that's guarding Trinity Carter got their head turned and as a guard that's what you want you want them to turn their head so you can get to the back door all Izzy had to do was she did she tried to do the brush uh hand off with Rachel it didn't work all he had to do was it still got 15 seconds left on the clock you're 17 feet from the basket why are you going oneon-one and that's not even in your game that's what I mean about we just be doing too much you still got 15 seconds left what are you rushing a shot for a oneon-one that's not your game again if she's just patient for two more seconds instead of her going when she gets the ball back she flares out watch this all Trinity Carter has a back door but when Lindsay puts the ball on the ground number six sees it and she steps up so again it took Trinity Carter away from the back door pass again it's just simple stuff because guess what Rachel was coming to the top of the key as well look at Rachel literally at the top of the key so both of them was going to turn their head cuz Rachel is a shooter you pay attention to the shooter again I like how every player scor we need that team ball every game yes if we just pass the ball uh my bad brass I'm from Louisiana man you know we don't pronounce we don't pronounce nothing right so it's Kennedy Carter it got a c on it uh but again it's just all about little nuances within the game that make your game better it's just little things he just had to be patient and let the door open up you put you try to do something in your game that's not in your game again you just be patient C do to fly across Mela is going all the way to the to the left wing you just be patient the back door is there you didn't have to bring everybody to the paint that's what I mean like little things like that like that's not your game next play Lindsay Allen again those shots again those shots if you if you didn't watch the game this is what just happened right before that shot we had three Miss shots and that's what I mean about like little things in our game like we beat ourselves I like Kennedy Carter but you know hey facts they do miss look they do hey look I got a z in my first name but everybody always wrting with a s go that's right that's right brass you right but again again welcome in everybody like share subscribe I'm trying to get to 100 subscribers by uh Sunday think I'm at 72 uh I've only been doing it for two weeks so I appreciate y'all coming in for the film study again after every game uh give me a day because it takes a lot to put the exact Clips together because I got to go back and rewatch it at least three times to pick out the right plays that I want to discuss and then again every week it won't be always offense uh I do want to do a uh breakdown of Camila and I want to do a breakdown of our defense and like crunch time and how we're never in the right positions to stop the ball uh I do want to do a breakdown on that I already got some fume together but uh I'll probably do that later on probably when we get closer to the playoffs I'll probably do the defensive one but my next one I do want to do one next week on Mela um and uh I do want to do one on uh Camila going into the playoffs so I'll see what that one looks like but I'll try to do a team one after every game the next day just give me a second um to do it what's going on laia what's going on laia going on welcome in welcome in welcome in uh but again we get into ISO play we always do this and that's how team come back in the games we've been struggling with that all season yesterday it's good thing it didn't bite us because we do that a lot we when we got a rhythm we start playing ISO basketball instead of doing what we did to get the lead and keep the lead good shots again Watch how much time is on the clock when she when she shoots it and no one's forcing her to shoot the ball like they didn't come to double you the shot clock isn't running out you just decided to go one onone and again this is areas of the of the game that I hope they continue to progress from so again we keep regressing back into Old Habits we had before the Olympic break that we need to kind of get away from and I get you're a bucket but again when you need wins every play every play matters you you can't you can't start just doing what you want to do at this point you're only up three we're on I think we we're on a we're on a losing skid we're on a we're on a losing skid every play matters every game matters Atlanta is on our heels let's play the right basketball cuz in the playoffs plays like this will get you beat you can't have these type of plays in the playoffs especially when you're not a superior team you can't have these type of plays in the playoffs again she goes ISO for no reason no reason on the shark Corner she goes ISO I I don't understand this look at this look at this nobody's forcing her to shoot that nobody Dangerfield is literally in her Grill she hits that shot we clap our hands it's like a coach they hit that shot you'll be like good shot they miss miss it it's like come sit down we didn't need that play because our last three plays have been wonky anybody who watched the game our last three plays have been wonky so we didn't need that play again good possessions are crucial at this point of the Season you have to start learning how to get good possessions and again if we don't start practicing good habits now they catch up to you later on and again we got two rookies on our team who need the playoff experience but they need it the right way I don't want us to go to the playoffs and just get spanked and because again that's that's not good for anyone like get just get spanked at least let's go into the playoffs I'm not even I'm not even saying win our first round game but going to the playoffs with some kind of understanding of how to play basketball going into next season that's that's what I'm really what I'm looking for at this season for me I've even said this on other channels I didn't I never really cared about the wins and losses for me it was more about understanding the nuances developing the rookies and getting better every game and we have moments within the game where it looks like we're just out there just playing basketball with no understanding of how to win again she didn't need to go ISO she shot it with 13 seconds on the clock look at the top of the key Izzy's back open Lindsay Allen's open if we swing the ball look at everybody's lined up right now if she literally probably swings the ball back it gets to Mela cardosa can probably get a one- on-one on her good side of the court but what we do is we just start playing one-on-one basketball because we see we got a three-point lead not knowing and that's why IQ goes into it not knowing our last three possessions before that were wony but we got a three-point lead and everybody just gains all this confidence that they that they uh that they they Shooters like again you don't need that bucket you needed a good transition bucket you didn't need a one-on-one ISO again it's just it's about build in good habits like let's get away from that let's get away from that that's bad offense only two people touch the ball in that possession look look she look this look look when a coach got a stone face on that's when I already know what's about to happen when a coach got a stone face on I already know something crazy about to happen because they already see the the way they lined up probably ain't even right again brush green gives a tour that's one thing about chin Carter let's go back that's one thing about kened Carter she really runs pick and roll well I want tpoon to start establishing that more I don't know that she's waiting for the playoffs the right moments but and again chiny Kennedy's card has been out of the lineup but he does need to run picking can roll more with her no matter the big cuz if they going to slip she's going to find them because guess what she isn't afraid of someone stealing the ball from her like Lindsay Allen is if you watch I was a point guard if you watch how Lindsay Allen dribbles sometimes she backs up so far that she takes herself out of the play with the ball and that's why the offense looks so stagnant it looks so off and it looks like what set is teaspoon running Lindsay Allen sometimes bags herself out of the set that they're running she literally bags herself to half court sometime because her ball handling skills aren't all the way there that's why she loses the ball a lot on fast breaks she doesn't have a good handle on the ball like she doesn't she does not have a good handle on the ball to say she's a point guard and she wants to run her offense she doesn't really have a good handle Kennedy Carter literally has a better handle than her and she's the off guard so they should tell you something about Lindsay Allen ball handling but again watch the slip screen we give the big the ball we just got to do that and we can we can good but again Izzy Izzy IQ Izzy IQ Izzy literally tries to force the ball when you got a person standing literally two to three feet away from them that's 66 that can help she's 66 on this screen it might look like man she's far from kadosa she's 66 in there in the paint the paint is only so big so on the screen it might look like she's far away from but she's actually not she's actually not far away from her again it's about if you play basketball you know she's actually not really far away from her and Izzy hasn't even the ball hasn't even got to her yet so that even gives her more time to close the gap and whatever space her and kadosa had between each other why force it to her when you can just give it to Mela Mela hands are literally out again it's it drives me crazy how we do stuff I'm going to run you through what should have actually happened is should have got the ball at the free throw line gave it to Mela and if the play was to get the ball to cardosa let Mela give cardosa the basketball you don't force it to her let the next man she did this play earlier let the next man do the work again it's it's is all about IQ again when she catches why would you pass her the ball right there there and again Mela is still right there Ria Jackson goes help this is something that I want Angel Reese and cardosa to get better at sometimes they catch the ball in the paint and they get frantic and the ball starts going other places that it's not supposed to go she could have literally kicked that back out to Michela and Michaela could have literally gave it back to her or probably had a shot because rakia cheated in to try to go double I want yall to play pay attention again but again this whole bad possession started with Izzy making the wrong pass again how you start a possession notice every every possession we show how you start a possession is how you end a possession it should have went to Mela she shouldn't have forced it to cardosa on the Baseline when cardosa can't dribble like that cardosa doesn't have a post game yet if she's not three feet from the rim don't give her in the ball in position like that cuz all she her only option is to kick it back out and get frantic and most time when you're frantic you make the wrong decisions so again let's let's rerun the play Let's rerun the play Let's rerun the play great slip screen give it to her just give it to Mela don't force it to her again again when when cardosa has the ball right here all she has to do she I know she's faced that way but all she has to do is give it to mckaela just give mckaela the ball post reposition yourself in the actual post instead of the Baseline and you can get the ball back again I know we get on the players about getting the ball into them sometimes but as you can watch on this possession sometimes it's not on the guards sometimes it's on the bigs to establish position and make the right passes and reestablish their positions so again I know we get on the guard sometime about how they pass what they're not doing what they are doing but sometimes we have to focus on the the The Bigs to be able to establish position make their presence known and understand how to get the ball back again she throws it all the way Cross Court when she could have made a simple pass to mckaela reposition herself because Ria is is turned Mia hips are turned towards the Baseline that's what you want right now Ria hips are turned towards the Baseline if you would have been patient Michaela could have just shifted her position a little bit and probably been open on the high Wing who knows or just probably float to the corner because Mel is I mean Ria Jackson is ball watching in this exact moment as a shooter that's what you want I want them ball watching because all I need is again it might look like R is still playing defense on her if you play basketball you know Ria has no chance if I catch this ball and I really want to shoot it rakia has no chance at guarding me right now she's too far away because I'm gonna quick this is gonna be a quick shot off of a quick pass but again it started with giving cardosa the ball on the weak Baseline when she's not a ball handler it disrupted whatever set they were trying to run and now we get in the hero mode so we'll go through the rest of the play when she could have just gave it to Mela she throws it all the way across Court which should have been a steal which should have actually been a steal but uh if you look at the girl right here at the free throw line the big she's actually just trying to get back to Izzy so she if she would have just stayed where she was it would have been a steal again we we get into hero mode look we get in that's what I be talking about like and I be trying to explain to people and they will be seeing this we literally had a good set shout out to tpoon she had the floor spread she had one-on ones you know how hard it is to get three one-on ones in one set Mela was one-on-one cardosa was one-on-one and Izzy at the free throw line was oneon-one if you play basketball you already know how hard it is to get three one-on ones inside of a set because most of the time teams are trying to cheat they're playing in between like we had three one-on ones one pass away and we gave the ball to someone who can't dribble on the Baseline they got frantic swung across court and now we all go into hero mode and we just looking for we just looking for whatever there and we start forcing stuff that again how you start offense is how you end offense again look how how bad this possession is look at this look at this this is a bad possession and and look at this look at this these things right here aren't on teaspoon like what is this like when did she become Shaq I want y'all to know this is back to back plays for her when did she become Shaq that's what I mean about sometimes we get on the court and we do too much and she wonder why she didn't really play in the second half shout out to teaspoon for sitting her like what are we doing let's create better habits when we're in the playoffs we're going to be playing the top bigs that ain't flying that's not going to be that's not happening first of all you ain't be able to side step to the other side of the room as just gonna send that out of bounds like let's let's be better jaqua Jones ain't even letting you rotate once you under that Rim she's too strong for that you we we we have bad habits that we need to get rid of and it's just simple things it's not some oh we need to get a whole new roster we just have bad habits that affect the way the offense looks so when I was doing my fume study I wish I had teaspoon number I would have sent her I would have sent her a long text message apologizing for how hard I've been on her even though she do got some things that we gonna talk about one day I'm we gonna talk about it one day but at the end of the day these players have low iq's like and I be I be dumbfounded because there are supposed to be professional athletes who's Izzy is a veteran like a veteran like when did you when did you decide to get off the bench and become Shaq like there were three people in the paint the center I see if there was three guards down there that was the center the power forward and the small forward look cuz Ria Jackson plays the two Dangerfield plays the one so that was the that was the five the four and the three in the paint and you decide to do a Up and Under like you like you got it like that you decide to do a Up and Under like you got it like that like come on man like we can't have those plays B be better be better again our out of bounds plays these what I do get on teaspoon but I don't know what we be doing thinking good slip screen good slip screen good slip screen again we just we just doing too much like our out of bounds play fails every time we do need to get better at those like we those out of bounds plays need to get better here we go started the third quarter here go Lindsay Allen again let me let me tell you something let me tell you something Lindsay Allen drives me crazy I don't want to see Lindsay Allen in another picking roll give Kennedy Carter the ball I don't want to see her in another pick and roll at all why as a coach after a game you go watch film even probably before you go home even on the way home The Scouting Department your tech department they send you clips of like turnovers uh Miss shots good good possessions they break them down throughout the game and they send you clips that you can kind of watch even on your way home from the from the uh from the game we're six games away from the end of the season maybe six or seven I don't know how many we got left I think six or seven from the end of the season and we still haven't figured out how to keep Lindsay Allen out of pick and rolls and just run actions away from her and let her distribute that way because again those who if you pay attention to a pick and roll it takes at least five seconds to develop so if you look we got 13 seconds left on the clock when the first pass happens because Lindsay Allen doesn't know how to run pick and roll we have 13 seconds on the clock when the first pass happens exactly guy they they take too long to get into their sets because we we have people who don't know how to run certain sets running the set you not getting nothing good when your first first pass comes with 13 seconds on the clock and the person you pass it to is in the Shar corner and doesn't shoot because now that pass is about to be a pass when she could have literally look to the left side of the Court instead of dribbling with a head down off of every screen he dribbles with her damn head down like you are a point guard a veteran point guard I'm I have fi that WNBA coaches know more than me because they're that's their league a lot of them played in it I'm I I know for probably a fact that tpoon and whoever else her coaches was in the past have told her about dribbling with a head down off screens this let you know tpoon got nobody else to go to because no way in the world I'm running streams with somebody whove been dribbling with their head down all season that's how I know she got nobody else to go to again after doing my film study I'm I'm I wish I had teaspoon number some of this is ridiculous what she gotta watch from the sideline I'm watching this from a TV screen imagine what she's seeing her being a guard so imagine how distraught she is and how much her composure has to be held because I know she wants to curse them out in time out sometimes I know she does like this is ridiculous the way guards run offens you give the ball to Angel Reese in the Shar corner with 13 seconds again again she doesn't have a good handle she comes off the screen and she she comes off the screen and all she does is look up like all she comes off the screens and she doesn't look to make passes all she does is look up cuz her head was down the whole time so her only thought is I got I just got to get pick my head up if your head is already up you can see plays developing you can see people moving she dribbles with a why give Angel Reese look at angel Reese dude does it as a point guard I wouldn't give Angel Reese the ball does it look like Angel ree supposed to get this ball right here angel ree doesn't even Angel re looks like she's waiting for something else to happen so she can make a move Look at Her She's reading Angel Reese is not even worried about the ball she's reading the action it looks like Ken Kennedy Carter is supposed to pop top Angel ree is literally reading the action so she's actually isn't supposed to get this ball this ball was actually I'mma tell you what really supposed to happen you had two things come out of this action when cardosa screen he slip screen if cardos is open give it to her but you can see Hami cheating in and then you can see cardo's person don't leave her so the flip screen isn't there the next action is chin Carter is supposed to pop top you be patient and give it to her you don't give it watch chennedy Carter pop top look look at chennedy Carter she was supposed to pop top this was not a possession for Angel Reese to get the ball right herec and I know this because when Angel Reese gets this ball her first thought look she just caught this ball and she's already ready to pass it that's how I knew she wasn't supposed to get it she she wasn't even thinking about shooting it because the part of the set was for her to be a distraction and pull Hami from the paint so cardosa could get the slip door but that didn't happen and instead of Lindsay Allen being patient with the ball and not being frantic and being an actual point guard and not worried about getting ripped you could have been patient and let Kennedy Carter pop top because if you look at the play that's going on right now rakia when cardosa cut rakia cheated she would have gave it to her quick swing pass we probably get a shot if rakia comes recover to Michaela mckaela got a dump down to cardosa oneon-one again again I'm not the smartest person in the room but I know basketball I know what's supposed to happen in plays I've been doing it since I was three years old I've been dribbling I've been watching basketball for a long time Lindsay Allen's unnecessary pass to Angel Reese can cause this whole development of this offense to be horrible again she could have gave it to chined Kennedy Carter pop and top instead of giving it to Angel ree wanting her to make a play that's not her game right now she's still developing into that that's not her game to just give her the ball one-on-one and help make a play how many times this year have we seen that not go right and jice is a a dog in the paint he's a high motor player you don't give her the ball to make plays you put her in actions and if she's going to make plays let them be Angel ree is good with dump offs and getting it inside to The Bigs because that's how she plays so she already knows how the ball should be distributed again it's like a it's like a wide receiver going and play DB he know the routes he know the Tendencies he know the footsteps he know he know the he he know the the the mechanics of a ride receiver when they doing out route in route post route go route same thing with Angel ree that's why hering cardosa are so good at entry passes because that's actually what they do so they know how they want the how hard they want the ball to be passed where they want it to be passed to and win if you notice they play the best off of each other dumping it down if you notice they don't play the best when they're passing the ball around the perimeter both of them do have challenges with that like we showed earlier about cardosa not realizing Kaya was literally right to the left of her open they do struggle with Outlet passes and perimeter passes but when you think about entry passes down low both of them are probably the two best on the team and that's because that's actually their position so they know the nuances of how to get it to the other person down there because that's how they would want it but again Lindsay Allen's poor point guard play started this whole bad possession because she doesn't she isn't confident in her handle and she doesn't understand how to run sets Watch What Happens first of all again this is parts of the game that angel Reese and cardosa they both do this a lot we call it crossface we call it crossface what she did was she ran a crossface on a you only run that on screeners you don't run that on oneon-one isos again M Lindsay Allen gave Angel Rees the ball and told her go make a play this this is what happens when you do stuff like that and not understanding your personnel you put people in positions where they got to do things out of the norm again the play started bad with Lindsay Allen's pass when she should have just gave it to Kennedy Carter pop and top be patient and give it to her she gave it to angre re and what happens is cardosa makes it worse because she does a crossface move watch what cardosa does cardosa brushes her man across which makes Angel Reese Cardoza is I'm G tell you if you watch that play what just happen Cardoza is the reason that angel Reese got double team because she did a cross face brush and she brought her man to Ang re strong side angel ree is stronger with her right hand you watch Angel ree play all her power dribbles are to the right side of the port even though she's edestus when she when Angel ree lays the ball up 80% of the time she's laying it up laying it up on the right side of the rim cardosa this something as rookies this is a rookie wall they got to get over appreciate it you know the insight's real over here I just give my perspective of what I would see if I was on the break it down I leave emotions out of it I leave all that out of it I leave favoritism I leave the the fan talk out of it I just really want to break the game down of ways we can really get better and this is not even really getting on our players this is just me giving Insight on things that we can continue to improve on that we can continue to get better at going into the playoffs that could be the the reason we win or lose games going into the playoffs like bad possessions like this are trickled effects that we can't have how over the over our seven game losing streak we had at least five games that came down to one possession and plays like this are the difference and win a break games again it's only the third quarter with nine minutes left but a play like this could possibly lead to a fivepoint swing for the other team and if you don't really understand basketball you don't really realize that like people always think oh it comes down to the last second shot that's win or lose no plays like these could be the difference in win or lose a game especially when you lose by two to three points every game plays like these because they create bad habits and again it's just simple things cardosa should have should what cardosa should have really did was cardosa should have popped elbow or stayed in the sharp corner by Mela because Angel Reese was already ISO oneon-one you could tell she wanted that shot so as a offensive player I'm watching my player try to develop a shot for themselves I'm going to get out of the way bring my Defender with me and not put them in a predicament where they got to force up a shot or cause a turnover again let's go back to when Angel re first catches the ball Angel ree catches the ball she doesn't she she doesn't she isn't confident in her shot Ham's playing off of her I told y'all all these clips ham going to be playing off of her so this offseason is priority I the first thing she needs to do this offseason I know she's going to play in the unrival league but in unrival League everything need to be a jump shot because it's her confidence it's her confidence La has shown she can shoot during the losing streak Kennedy should definitely be PG now yes let Lindsay play off guard let just switch it teaspoon and like let's just test out I agree with that Dennis like let's just test it out and see what happens what we got to lose what we got to lose we got nothing to lose let's just get the ball out of her hands because she creates bad offense and you ever watch teams and You' be like man he s he seemed like a solid point guard why he can't find a team it's because of reasons like this if you when you do film study coaches do that GMS do film study they got scouting departments who do film study on players and they're like hey man last year 20% of the time they had the ball we had bad offense because of this and then you'll get to off be like God dang why he out the league and people like man he averaged 19 points last year he can't find an NBA team this is reasons why teams don't like players that destru offenses no matter how many points you get all 20 points aren't the same I can go I can go score 25 points and somebody else can go 25 points but the impacts are different cuz do they need me to score 25 and what do they need from him to score that 25 like the impacts are different and a lot of people don't really be understanding that about basketball again I would put Kennedy C Kennedy Carter at PG and let Lindsay Allen play off ball because she does present great defense on the perimeter with guards and she can be an additional ball handler when need be but I feel like she's a great catching uh shoot uh guard so I would really have her more in that position of catch and shoot versus just actually being a distributor of the basketball because it does slow down the offense so again hopefully we we make that change sooner or later but again Ang back to my Soliloquy Angel ree catches the ball she she doesn't she wasn't supposed to get the ball and now she got to go do one-on-one thing because she was in part of the initial set of that play it was really to get cardosa the ball or give it back to Kennedy Carter popping top but cardosa not realizing how to move the court and understand the court and the nuances of the game and offenses she brings her her her her Defender to Angel ree which makes her shot difficult because watch what the defender does she doesn't care about cordosa shooting so once cardosa gets to the paint the defender's only job is to stay in the paint so watch what she does watch what cardosa Defender does this is what I mean about simple things this is what I mean about simple things and Mela could have actually stayed where she was and Angel ree could have probably kicked it to her but Mela you know you know you hear the things sometimes like uh um you gotta you gotta move to a new spot when you're a shooter to make your Defender her Defender already has her head turned and she's so far from her if I was Mela I would have stayed where I was because I'm reading the court I don't need to float to the corner because the paints J Pack when I float to the corner Andre re isn't going to see me anyway I'mma stay in the ball's eyesight when you're a shooter you stay in the ball's eyesight because wherever the ball is that's where the person who has the ball is looking they're not looking away most of the time you got your unique point guards who can see things you know got eyes in the back of their head but that's not most people yeah yeah guy Lindsay Allen can shoot she isn't aggressive and that's why I think if move her to the off guard she'll be more aggressive because it'll become a responsibility she it because we'll take the ball handling responsibilities away from her and her her shooting will become a responsibility because she is a a good shooter when she's open she does knock down shots I've seen it time and time again when we kicked her the ball in the shark corner on the wing and she's knocked down shots and big moments so I think we need to just see what that looks like just just see what that looks like I know putting the ball in Kennedy Carter's hand most of the time it's going to eliminate some of her scoring but again let's just see what it looks like we got nothing to lose but again again this is the this is the rookie stuff that we talk about and again they'll get better with this over time with fume study and just understanding how the WNBA plays offense and things you can't do and can't do and this something you can't do when you got a player like Angel Reese on your team and this something you can't do cardosa when you're not a shooter your Defender doesn't care about where you're going as long as you're leaving the paint they're going to stay in the paint understand your capabilities and how they affect everyone around you because Watch What Happens her her her her Defender is the reason Angel Reese gets into a bind watch this look at her Defender that's her Defender right there you got Hami and look she doesn't even care about cardosa she she doesn't she literally is happy cardosa is out of the paint he doesn't even care about cardosa or where she went as long as she's not in the paint and cardosa got to realize that and you see Mela she went to the shark corner you should have stayed Wing the right thing they should have did was Mela you stay Wing Cardoza you go sharp Baseline you see where Ria is right now cardosa if you want to go right there you she's literally in the same spot on the opposite side of the court all she had to do was stay on her side of the court and go to the same area she's look at her her Andia Jackson are literally in the same spots on opposite sides of the Court literally all he had to do was go to where Ria Jackson is standing and Angel Reese would have had a one-on-one let's play back a little bit let's play it back a little bit and Michela shouldn't have moved because R R's is she's so far from her that's catch and shoot all day Ria shouldn't have moved again don't bring your man to Angel Reese you bringing her your man to her strong hand or your lady to her strong hand you don't do that even though she she got a a file out of that that's like that's like bad here go next possession next possession watch this slip screen see I'mma play this three times because I don't think y'all truly understanding what I'm talking about let's run pick and roll with a big whatever big you want let them run pick and roll slip screen don't do a stay screen run a slip screen Kennedy is gonna find you because her her Defender doesn't want to leave her because she's a bucket when Lindsay Allen runs it notice both Defenders go under when notice notice watch Kennedy watch Kennedy Carter's Defender they go over the top they go over see Ria comes over the top because she's a bucket you don't you don't you don't let her turn the corner on a pick and roll that's the most dangerous thing for a bucket getter if you let them turn the corner on a pick and roll because now they have the whole playround they got the swing set they got the monkey bars they got jump ropes over here they got a hopscotch when you let a bucket getter turn the corner on a pick and roll they have the entire playground to play with because now they have free rang to do what they want again that's why a lot of people they Chase off of the screen on bucket Getters they don't go under they chase if you watch how Steph Curry bucket getter can shoot from anywhere they chase him off of screen they don't go under screens you go under screen on Stephen Curry he gonna end up with 40 Kennedy Carter is the same type of player you don't let her turn the corner so you're always gonna help and do a pop and get back what Ria did was pop and get back again watch this watch this watch this see this what I be talking about this what I be talking about this what I be talking about Lizzie Al out of the play great pick and roll Angel Reese and kedy Carter only only but this what I be talking about look Lindy Allen when was she open when was she I'mma look at this again I want to know when she was open when when was Angel Reese open like the defender is literally hugging her hip inside forcing so when someone guards you like that that's letting you know that they don't want you to get to the paint they'll rather let you pop out cuz Angel re if she was a shooter she the way she's being guarded right now coming off that screen she could have literally just popped but she's not a shooter so the defender guards her inside at the hip hand in her inside outside hand in her chest when when their hand is in their chest like that it's really to deny the entry pass you can so they don't want her to slip on the screen so they're guarding it they're guarding her inside hip hand inside chest denying the screen Passad but if Angel ree was a shooter she would be guarding her differently but Lindsay Allen is a point guard you're supposed to know that you're supposed to see how she's being guarded before you pass her the ball because your literal job is getting the right person the ball at the right time that's literally a point guard's job all the scoring and stuff like that that comes in the flow of the game but your a literal Point guard's duty is to get the ball to the right person at the right time in the right area that's literally your job so when you don't have the ball you should be reading the court for when you get the ball to make the right decision already it's being proactive Lindsay Allen is too reactive a lot be proactive you going to be the point guard be proactive read the floor before plays start developing to know where you want to go with the ball because Angel re was never open that's why K Kenedy Carter didn't give her the ball she was literally never open watch this watch this when did you and Hami is literally standing in the paint she was never open and Hami how do you not like the paint is nobody in the paint but the Sparks Defenders how do you not know that angel reeks can't get that back door pass how do you not know that not not know that you decided oh well Ken Carter can't get it the ball I'mma get it to her we again you we still got 12 seconds on the clock you didn't have to force that pass even though we got the ball back but that's what I mean by like just bad offense bad bad IQ bad ey Vision what's HD what's HD hey man let me know if you want come up I'm drop I'm drop the link for you uh but again uh y'all go follow uh my boy HD channel man HD put your uh channel in the uh the chat man but again it's just simple things that the sky can do um Chicago Sky all of these um all of these Chicago Sky uh podcast and all of that I've been hear hearing them talk and I be like y'all seeing a totally different game than I'm seeing like some because they are breakdowns and the things that they say we need to do doesn't impact winning it doesn't impact the team getting better it doesn't help Angel Recon like I be really trying to and sometimes they just be ranting so it'd be hard for me to go on a lot of Chicago Sky Channel like I really don't be getting what they be seeing what they be talking about it'd be really really confusing I be like your your level of basketball stopped at high school again it's little nuances that we can fix to win at least five more games again why would you force her this ball why would you I'm play it why would you force Angel Reese this back door cut when Hami is literally standing in the paint I learned that in second grade don't give her the ball watch this what did you see what did you see if Ria Jackson wouldn't hit the ball that was a turnover if raia Jackson wouldn't hit the ball that was a turn over next play again again I'm I'm about to give knowledge something y didn't see just now I'm about to give yall some knowledge on something yall didn't see just now I am a point guard I need to know how to work a offense even when I don't have the ball Lindsay Allen is the reason Mela shouldn't have forced that anyway we keep forcing into the bigs pass to the next person to get a better entry pass stop forcing it into bigs and then you try to force it to her left side when her power hand is her right side if somebody's riding her in the paint you don't give it to her weak hand cuz guess Ang is going to try to do she's gonna try to come back right I swear I swear I need to be in like the Chicago Sky um uh scouting department or something because like I can't be the only one seeing this like this is this is it's like and again some of these breakdowns I'm talking about is just symol basketball but again I've been in a lot of YouTube circles and they don't actually talk basketball they talk fan bias and that eye test stuff eye test is literally fan bias because my eyes only tell me what I want to see I I never understood the eye test thing uh well it's eye test for me ey test is bias fume isn't eye test is bias people know that right like it test is bias it's like me going to the president uh debate with Democrat Republican and and saying oh I like the Republican better of course I do because I always I was already voting for them I just wanted them to do great it test is bias but anyway anytime you somebody say it test they about to be biased I test is literally biased man I swear but again we we we we we don't do things the right way again look at this side we're in overload right now we're in we're in overload right now again what everybody who came in comment in the uh chat I'll get to any of your questions you have uh this is again like HD said this is grade a breakdown share like subscribe comment comment after this video is over I'm on the quest to 100 subscribers I've only been active two weeks uh this is actually going to be my 13th video but again I'm just here to get y'all some knowledge break it down I'll be back after every game so after uh after every game the day after because it takes me a while to compile all the foot footage and kind of break it all myself before I actually tell y'all about it because I actually got to look through it I don't just look at the video while y'all looking at it and break it down I actually look at it and break down a nuances of what should have happened I put the clips together then I present them to y'all so give me time the day after to kind of get to them but again we gotta be better at doing these simple things watch this right now we're in right side overload weing right side overload with a pick and roll kened Kenedy Carter is in pick and roll with Mela Mela swings High Lizzie Allen is up I want y'all to know this Lizzie Allen is a point guard lindzy Allen correct guy you gotta you gotta adapt like they ain't gonna be a a perfect play teaspoon can't drop a perfect set as players that's where your IQ is involved in the improvising you got to improvise with high IQ you can't just grab the ball and say oh I'm going to make something happen because my play didn't work no that's low IQ you don't make something happen you you take what's given and you improvise from that we trying to improvise with forc passes like you take what's given if they're playing the paint that means my wing is open let me be patient we had 12 seconds left I didn't need to force that but again Lindsay Allen is in the shark corner you really can't see her right now cuz she's off screen but she's in this shark Corner why are you in the shark corner on overload I've never seen an overload play in basketball where your point guard goes to the Shar Corner away from the plate they go Wing they go Wing they go Wing they go wing and you you are the starting point guard watch this she stays in the corner and puts Mela in the bind Mela is not a ball handler we found that out earlier when she turned it over she's not a ball handler first of all we don't even want her dribbling the ball that long like that when she doesn't have anywhere to go I see if she was one-on-one getting to the rim she's because she she is she is she does have a wide frame so she's great with smaller Defenders putting them on her hip getting to the rim but and ISO plays like this at the high break this is where she's about to go is called the high break as a point guard I know from practice film study and playing with her D near 40 games that that's not what she does I'mma go get the ball the wing is literally open Dangerfield is cheating inside the Sparks Defender Dangerfield is cheating inside you see where that referee is that's where Lindsay Allen should be above that referee she should be above that referee she should be lined up right where the red shirt the guy with the red shirt that's where Lindsay Allen should be right now because the play didn't happen the the the as a point guard I know the play already we practiced it whatever they were trying to run off that brush screen it didn't happen I think they were trying to get a mismatch and they was trying to get number seven on chined but it didn't happen because they went under the screen because they're not afraid of her shooting but again Lindsay Allen is in the short corner off to the Baseline he should be right where red shirt is that's she actually should be right now she should have rotated and guess what happens look look you see what I'm talking about you see what I'm talking about you see what I'm talking about she wanted mcka off a screen being being rushed and she Mela is not a good ball handler I don't even lame Mela for that play Lizzie Allen go get the ball go get the ball like this is the stuff that I be talking about like this is the stuff that I be talking about like you go get the ball you improvise you're the ball handler you let Mela go set up or her and Angel Reed going to a pick and roll a action pick and roll on the opposite like something else could have happened out of that go get the ball like you forced a bad situation to happen because as a point guard you're supposed to see things before they about to take fruition because as a point guard you're supposed to study your players like nobody should know the players better than the point guard even the head coach should not know the players better than the point guard because my primary job is to make everyone around me better know where they like the ball where they want the ball their strengths their weaknesses their Deltas their pluses their understanding their knowledge their IQ that's literally a point guard's job I know that just from watching games Mela at the top of the key dribbling the ball is never going to be a good thing especially at this stage maybe this off she can work on the handles a little bit going going right more but at this point at this juncture Mela at the top of the key and she got a solid defender on her she doesn't have a weak defender on her she has a solid defender on her that's never going to be a recipe for Success go get the ball come on the screen linday Allen pop because if y'all watch I want y'all to watch something if y'all watch Mela eyes she's looking at Lindsay Allen but she doesn't trust that long pass he wanted Lindsay Allen to come Wing watch Mela eyes off the screen because she she sees the slip screen not open she actually wants Lindsay Allen to come but she's not a good ball handler she's being pressured so she she just gets frantic like cardosa did earlier and just got to get off the ball he just wants to get off the ball that's what she wants to do she wants to get off of the ball good pass or not she just wants to get off of the ball again it's like little things it's like little things little things again Watch Mela eyes it will tell you exactly what she wanted Lindsay Allen to do she looks inside off this screen right now she's looking inside for Angel ree but Dangerfield is doubling down inside but she can't get get that pass again Lindsay Allen he's helping how about you find a new spot by red shirt and you might have a shot right there we talked earlier about her going to the off guard this is where she going to struggle at and she goes to the off guard she's going to struggle with finding spots on the court to get good shots because she she needs to realize the ball isn't going to be perfect like guys said you're going to have to improvise on passes sometimes where you're just going to have to be on on on one Accord with each other so sometimes sets get thrown out the window after the first second progression sometimes depending on how pressure the defense is sets go out the window sets are really just establish spacing I'm G tell yall something right now don't get too caught up in sets that's why I'm not on teaspoon too hard sets are really just to establish a rhythm in spacing with the players do in the sets determin is determined by their IQ and their standing of the game again I want yall to realize this sets those who haven't played basketball been listening to YouTube channel that been lying to you for the last how long you've been on YouTube sets are literally just it it's it's put into place to create spacing opportunities that that AR 100 if you could run a set 100% correct but the right defense would deny anything out of that set it's up to the players after the second progression there's two progressions it's your first pass off of whatever action and then your secondary pass if both of them aren't there the players's ability to improvise comes into play that's where Steve Nash was so great with when he would come on that pick and roll and they knew staya wanted it they knew they knew staya was gonna slip screen so they would just sink into the paint and Steve n would improvise and he would find another guard to run it with go back and watch Phoenix Suns they used to play back in the day with that 10-sec offense it was like 3se second screen with staya wasn't there St Nash go to the next wing and that's why if you watch Steve Nash highlight sometimes he's always rotating underneath the basket like why he always dribbles under the basket to come back out is because now he has to use his ability and his understanding of the game to find a better possession the set is done again the set is done once Mela comes off the screen because her first two passes her first two progressions aren't there we call them progressions we don't call them passes her first two progressions are not there she might have a third with cardosa but they're packing the paint Ham's literally right there hugging their hip inside again look how the Sparks played look how the Sparks played the sky all night that lets you know that one of them got to learn how to shoot this off season because they're hugging them inside look they're always on their inside hip and never their outside hip that let you know they want them to shoot so one of them has to become a stretch big this summer or we have to go find a stretch big to play with them cuz the paint isn't going to open like we wanted to the post-ups aren't going to be like that we wanted to until one of them stretches the floor so either cardosa can develop a little elbow shot or Angel Reese has to develop her mechanics and work on her 15 to 17 foot shot all over the court like one of the one of the two things have to happen this offseason for us to really get the best out of those two out of those towers that has to H happen but again it won't happen this season so you got to be patient you got a wooa you got you can't force it it won't happen because it's not in their bucket yet they got to put it in their bucket in the off seon you don't feel your bucket up during the season you got so much going on their bucket is running empty you fill your bucket back up in the offseason when you when when the season starts you got a bucket of things that you want to do that you worked on things you want to accomplish jump shooting at 15 to 17 feet you can tell was not in Angel's bucket even though she's capable of probably doing it and she's always open and we want her to take it we got a woa because it wasn't in her bucket she has to end the off season she has to fill her bucket back up and that has to be in her bucket before that should overflow into her bucket this offseason what whatever else she wants to accomplish this offseason because I'm I'm G give you some insight everybody's on uh Angel re by her rebounding even be earlier in the season everybody was on Angel Rees about uh uh going out there stat pack and getting double doubles and all of this I'm G give yall some insight on basketball players that's that play past high school when you go into the off season with the athletic trainers and stuff like that part of your game revolves around accomplishing something the next season you know that right if I go to the offseason and say I want to I want to get 200 rebounds this season because I had 150 last year in the off season I'm going to work on how to position myself better for rebounds and during the regular season that's in my bucket and I'm going to get to 200 rebounds hella high water all of them do it don't think they don't stash sheet watch don't think they don't know records that they can break they know it they might not talk about it but they know it so we got to stop picking and choosing who we want to put the stat patent tag on when all of them literally do it like we we anybody who play P High School knows you literally do it every game you look at your points per game before the game and if you had a you wanted to average 15 points that season you would look at your points per game before every game and say okay and what we would do sometimes is you would look at your next five to six games and be like okay if I score 10 points this game because I got a good defender on me uh but look we play we playing Temple they ain't a good team we playing VCU they ain't a good team they ain't got no good guards I'm g go go score 17 on each of them to get my average to 15 to make sure I'm consistent with it so everyone does it so fans we got to stop picking and choosing who we want to put the stat patent tag on and when we want to put it on them because I seen Caitlyn Clark go chase a rebound to get a triple double she went chase a rebound to get a triple double again and yeah yeah Dennis that eal bigger contracts don't again when you in when you a professional sport they don't care about your opinion at the end of the today it might hurt their feeling sometimes but that when they get that contract from that stat patter y'all talking about they sleep a little better so it trust me at the end of the day sometimes y'all just talking to yourselves when y'all talk about all this stat patn and chasing this stat and this and that at the end y'all talking to yourselves because the next Generation ain't gonna remember nothing you you you talking about the Next Generation gonna come in and say oh man a re got the double double record a got the rebound record they ain't going to know how she got it they just going to see her name tied to it so whatever you're complaining about will literally disappear in five five to six years it will literally be not that conversation will be non-existent because your voice won't mean as much anymore because then the next generation of podcasters and things will come in they'll have bigger fan bases so again wooa let's get off of the stat patent stuff and let's just let the game be what it is exactly next year we gonna forget all that we've been talking about stad even with Caitlin Clark everybody like we gonna forget all of that we gonna forget all of that next year going into next year we gonna forget all the complaining about kayln Clark being roughed up all the complaining about angrew ree not getting files we gonna go into the offseason watching football basketball Winter Olympics is coming up uh baseball World Series all of that we gonna literally forget about everything that happened because half of y'all can't come on this chat right now if I give y'all this this link y'all can come on this panel right now and tell me 50% of what you was complaining about during the WBA season last year 50% of what you was complaining about in the WNBA last year you couldn't come up here and say it 50% you gonna forget about that so wooa take every game for what it is and let him ball and again critiquing is going to happen it's a sport even when I was playing I expected it like critiquing is going to happen it's just about how we we critique when we critique and what we want to critique like you can't be biased in those three levels of critiquing how when and what you can't be biased about it because when you start critiquing those things and being biased it shows but again let's just be better at those things but again let's get let's finish getting through the rest of this just that's just a horrible pass that's just a horrible pass that's just a horrible P watch this watch this watch this cardosa has the ball I got a question though I got a I got a serious question about this play though I don't know if this was a tpoon play or the Chicago Sky players decided to just improvise on this play but why does cordosa have the ball a high wi like nothing came out of what that just happened and again we had 13 seconds again every time Lindsay Allen has ball the first pass always happen with 13 seconds for some reason it's weird why does cardosa have the ball right here it literally did nothing her getting the ball right there was ineffective at All Phases because what that what that did I'm about to tell y'all what that did what that just did was whenever action they wanted to run down low it took her out of the play because now it's going to take her that much longer to get back watch like understand the players understand how to get through proper sets understand how to improvise effectively these are things that can catch up to us in the playoffs like let's start eliminating some of this again y'all getting this free knowledge man like look y'all getting this y'all getting this free knowledge look you ain't gonna get this on every channel man share like subscribe tell a friend tell a friend on the on the road to 100 subscribers by tomorrow night I got tomorrow night 1200 p.m. $100 bet on the line I think I'm at 72 I haven't looked at my subscribers since I started this stream but I think I'm at 72 tell a friend to tell a friend I I want get my $100 so I get some more whiskey because this one almost gone so again I got a $100 bet 100 subscribers by 12 pm Sunday night so help the boy out tell a friend tell a friend share on Facebook Instagram Tik Tok Twitter whatever you on uh I'm on all of those at the same thing uh Prince Sports media on all of those platforms Twitter Instagram I ain't on Facebook yet my Facebooks down but on Instagram Twitter uh and uh Tik Tok hit the boy up Prince Sports media with those same tags tell a friend to tell a friend what's will what's what's man what's man what's man look at this play look at this play look at this I want y'all I want yall to understand this this is why I'm mad this is this is why I'm mad this is why I'm mad I'm about to tell y'all why I'm mad it ain't really about this play itself you ever got that you ever got that bad ass kid that keep opening the ice box up and the one time they open the cabinet door you get on them because they've been opening the ice box and you finally get on him like why you opening that cabinet door like what I ain't open Ice Box this time open the cabinet door but you always opening something Lind this play right here is so simple but I'm mad about it because Lindsay Allen since I've been breaking down his fume I rewatched the game three times this morning she she just plays with the ball too much linday Allen made her first pass with 13 seconds it's seven seconds left on the clock and she still has the ball and she still has the ball I want y' watch this play again look at this look at this first of all first of all I want to go back to that I want to go back to that she does that too much I hate when she does that I literally hate when she does that she watch next game she will do it at least three to four times she'll get AC cross half court and the defender will will take a jab St Step at her and she she'll pick her dribble up that's how cardosa had to come out actually now that I'm looking at this with y'all that actually probably was even part of the set he picked her dribble up so cardosa had to go help cardosa had to go to the ball so and give it back to her so she can reestablish her dribble so tpoon I apologize now that I'm actually breaking this down see that's why it's good to break fume down man y think y'all just be watching basketball breaking fume down is like hard like you really got to watch it and watch it and watch it and you got to know basketball you can't just know your favorite players like you got to know basketball because I'm when I'm breaking down film if you notice Angel ree is my favorite player on this team and I ain't just talking about injuries I ain't just talking about her buckets I ain't showing her good buckets I only show one good good Bucket from her that was the slip screen but for me I'm just I just today I wanted to really break down things that can change in our offense to make our team better versus trying to makeshift the whole roster next season again we don't need 20 new players we don't need a new coach we just need to fix these things cuz fixing these things we lost six to seven games this year by two two to five points plays like this determine those that seven game losing streak plays like this even with or without Kenny darta like plays like this determine where we land in the playoff setings how successful we are and what we do in the offseason so again I just I want y'all to watch next game she literally does that all the time and I think that's another reason why they struggle with their sets she really just need to I'm done she needs to come off the ball I'm done with her she she needs to come off the ball like like watch this she literally comes across half court and picks her dribble up for no reason the player is like five feet away from her watch this look look why you picking your dribble up now cardos come out of her set just to set the screen cuz you could tell she was even supposed to set the screen right down now Koso don't even know what to do and look what she does and look what she does see but I'mma tell y'all something I'm tell y'all something I'mma tell y'all something let's let's let's go back to this let's go back to this I'mma tell y something I'mma tell y'all something this play right here this is where a a good point guard will show because you see what happened just now a good point guard guess what they would have did look at the left side of the floor look who's guarding Angel Reese guess what I would have did and look who on the side with Angel Reese your bucket getter yes yes B Will Carter really need to run Point like not Mike she needs to run point but pay attention to why Lindsay Allen should not be running points and I've been on Lindsay Allen hard today but that's just let you know how ineffective she is in games and they don't show up on the stat I'm literally showing y'all how a player can be so ineffective and it doesn't show up on a stack sheet and they win this game this is the crazy be Chicago Sky won this game despite all of Lindsay Allen's miscues they won this game and I didn't want to come on here with the uh usual breakdown that people do they only show the highlight plays man you could go ESPN and get those a what this channel do this channel actually breakdown basketball so you go you want to see the highlight plays you want to say why you showing all the bad plays and they won they blew them out that ain't what we do over here we break down plays so so they could get better this stream if you look at the thumbnail on this streen this stream it literally says Prince coaches Circle this is from a coach's standpoint of things when they're looking at fume they're going to be looking at I'll give y'all some insight when you're looking at fume as a coach you only look at 20% of the good things that happen because that's things that probably always happen 80% of your fume study is looking at things that need to change and that's how I break down fume I look at things that need to change to make us better things that I want to see continue to progress cuz I'm hoping I get big enough one day well y'all know the Chicago sty start looking at my breakdowns you know and they start you know making some tweaks that's what I really want to see I just want to see them tweak some of this add some of this into their their game and just kind of move this way a little bit just move this way a little bit move the way a little bit but again if that's a good point guard if that's Chelsea Gray Asia Wilson is about to go one onone with Ria Jackson I got a100 that if that's Chelsea Gray with that ball and not Lindsay Allen Angel Reese in that far left corner is about to go one on-one with Ria Jackson and guess guess how I know that because I watched it happen against us i l i I really want to break that film down and show y'all how Asia gets her shots it's a it's incredible give me a thumbs up in the chat if y'all want me to do a Asia Wilson breakdown from when they played us it's incredible how it's incredible how she gets her shots like y'all won't even leave it what I'm what I'll show y'all like I literally went watch that game four times the way she gets her shots or NBA like it's incredible how she gets her shots you won't even believe it that's why she's the MVP like she literally controls the defense with her offense like I really want to break that down like give me a thumbs up while we going through this video If once I get five thumbs up I'mma break I'mma do an angel Wilson breakdown the way she gets her shots is incredible but again look at this look at this if Lindsay Allen was a good point guard what she would have did was she would have pulled the ball back out a little bit or when she drove she would have told cardosa she would have D directed the offense cardosa you go shark Conner Angel Reese could have got a one-on-one right here because Kennedy Carter is on Angel re side of the floor her Defender isn't leaving her Kennedy Carter's Defender is not leaving her yes she's ball watching but she's going to stay in her vicinity she isn't coming double Angel re because Kennedy Carter is on Angel re side of the floor see that's what I be hey y'all about to start paying for this breakdown y'all about to start paying for this but again a great point guard would have denied that screen they would have told cardosa I don't want that screen let me just get to the left side of the floor the right side of the floor and watch me work let me get to the right side of the floor and watch me work as a point guard I'm going to get Angel Reese Pinn down Ria Jackson and just give it the ball because I already know Kennedy Carter's Defender isn't leaving her man y y'all g y y'all gota pay yeah y'all gonna pay for this this look y'all about to start paying for this breakdown like like but if she was a true point guard that's what actually would have happened she would have denied the screen from cardosa when it first started she would have denied it and told cardosa like so when you play play basketball you have like words that you tell people on the court so like uh when we played uh we used to call the elbow we used to call it elephant that meant go to the Elbow because we didn't know we didn't want the other team to know what we was telling and as a point guard we create them we create them off of words that we feel comfortable saying that we can say in any moments uh hot sauce was Baseline um but but L hot L hot L hot sauce was left corner or hot sauce was right corner like but just hot sauce itself was choose any Baseline you get to improvise any Baseline but again you got terminologies that you talk about y'all can't hear it during the games because they don't really uh give a lot of like the vocals from the on court because they commentators but if you ever heard them talk and say like funny words in in the middle of games that's what they're talking about like there's spots on the courts like you got the nail the Shar Corner the elbow the the charge circle like you got certain areas and you give them names that way you you can help your offense get to particular spots on the floor without the Defenders knowing where you telling them to go because you really don't want them knowing what the offense has going on and what you're trying to create so she let's say the Shar Corner uh the left Shar Corner was called elephant she should have denied the screen and said elephant cardos would have knew just go to the shark Corner this play isn't for you I would have drove to the hard drive to the right side of the floor looked Angel Reese eye to eye Angel Reese would have read her eyes and pinned Ria down and if you watch this play develop Angel Reese really had inside presence Lindsay Allen just didn't let the play develop she went into the screen looking for her shot which isn't her game but again it's it's just little nuances and man hey y'all start paying for the breakdowns man but again watch this watch this look look look you you wide open on a play that shouldn't even have happen and you still missed the shot you wide open on a it's a free throw shot back of the rim but guess what look remember I just said Angel Reese already had an advantage because Ria was on her guess how she got that offensive rebound I broke down how she got the offens a rebound before y'all even seen it because what should have happened was she should have pinned Ria if Lindsay Allen would have drove hard to the right side of the floor watch this Angel ree literally gets the rebound because she has Ria Jackson on her and Angel re is the only one that knows that Ria Jackson cannot guard Angel Reese in the post watch this watch this watch how she just bullies Ria Jackson just bullies her look just bullies her just bullies her move her out the way like literally moves her out the way how come Lindsay all didn't see that coming look at this look at this look at this this is one of those moments where this is one of those moments where you want to this is one of those moments where you want com uh them to play high low so if you go back to the play if you go back to the play hold on I think I lost my thing I got you so it's the next play if you go back to when Cardoza actually catches the ball this is where we always talk about that high low this is where uh like um guy said earlier about the improvising this is where as talented basketball players you gota you gotta improvise fact HD too small too small too small uh but this is where the improvising comes in at like guy said when when cardosa got this ball Angel Reese and cardosa should have been patient see cardosa is looking for the guard to come get the ball instead of using her ability which is great at entry passes being patient because Hami isn't about to pressure her watch Hami is he gonna be on her but it ain't pressure when you got to get off the ball fast they should have been patient you got 17 seconds on the clock when you get it be be patient andice recognize high low cuz when she sets the screen Watch What Happens watch who's on her look who's guarding Angel Reese look who's guarding Angel ree again rakia Jackson off the screen is guarding Angel Reese because Ham's playing the paint because Ham's playing the paint what should have happened was they should have cleared out the left side of the floor let Angel Reese come across diamonds and shield should have moved to the right side it's simple basketball like it sounds like a lot it's simple basketball man like diamond Shields Diamond the shields move out the way because you're not even involved in the offense right now anyway move let Angel ree flash left and now she got on one onone because Hami either got a guard Camila or guard Angel a double team Angel Reese because Ria Jackson is on her it's like that's what I mean about like this finding simple offense and just it's just basketball like if if you never played basketball before at a high level a lot of this might sign complex what I literally just said but it's really not when you're on the court because you get to see everything like it's really not because you're in the middle of the game it's really not I know I know as a basketball player I know when I'm involved in the play and when I'm not involved in the play and what it be on the court like I literally know that I know when I'm where I'm supposed to be and when I'm supposed to be there even if it's not even a play because it's called IQ it's called IQ look Angel Reese the play before that just got a offensive rebound on the same person that's guarding her as her team I'm like oh barbecue chicken let me get Andrew Reese in the post I'm like oh barbecue chicken Kennedy Carter does the right thing Kennedy Carter pops back door and then she flashes back up to try to go get the ball she does the right thing once Kennedy Carter moves Diamond The Shield should have went across let Angel Reese flash left and it could have been a one-on-one post up again it's just simple Lindsay Allen didn't have to do nothing but stay on the wing where she was he didn't have to do nothing but stay on the wing or stay high to be an outlet Diamond the shields once Kennedy Carter comes through you just go to the opposite corner Angel Rees you got Ria Jackson on you you flash now Hami has to make a decision between guarding cardosa driving to the lane or double teaming Angel ree because she got Ria Jackson on her that's what I mean about things that gonna help us in the playoffs if we do those little things like that and that's not even complex it might sound complex but if you played at a high level that really wasn't complex nothing I said that was simple just basketball movement go watch Golden State play when they were in they their primes it wasn't a lot of plays they knew each other and knew where to be and when to be on the court it's basketball at the end of the day and we make so many things complicated that's simple ball movements Diamond The Shield you're out of the play she she struggling to get the ball off you move clear out the floor she hasn't even dribbled yet cardosa can still dribble because she hasn't put the ball down yet you move clear out the left side of the floor and rce has barbecue chicken trenity Carter already cut back though and she going to flash back top she going to pop back top she basically did a v we call it a v cut she basically did a v cut she went Wing pop down pop back up yeah watch Thomas ball movement like this ball movement yeah like like when I break down stuff sometimes like in in person with people they be like God damn that's how you how you gonna know to do all of that like it's just simple basketball it's just might sound like a lot but it's just simple basketball if you have high high IQ it's a simple basketball just simple but again all Dam had to do is cut cross how many times you see a player cut cross the court to clear out it's basally was a clear out for Angel Reese you just cut cross Kennedy Carter popped out before Angel Reese Angel Reese just takes up where Kennedy Carter came from and she just flashes left now Hami has to choose do I help Ria Jackson or do I let cardosa get this get this little this little five-footer because if she go helps amice cardosa hasn't dribbled yet she can literally take two more dribbles and do a little push shot but Hami standing in the the way Hami standing in the paint I don't blame cardosa for not forcing it on her because Hami had doesn't have to choose hamy can literally stand in the paint and just protect the paint but if Angel Reese comes across now hamy has to choose and now cardosa can be smart so what cardosa did was smart the players around her didn't give her the opportunity to make a play but again it's a simple thing and y'all gonna start playing for this one day I might start sending some of y'all some invoices Man by start sending some of y'all some invoices man but again it's just simple and it just turns into bad offense it just turns into because look Angel re about to post up her but uh Kennedy Carter takes the jump shot it's just bad offense all around it's just bad offense again look at this slip screen look at this flip screen remember I talked earlier remember I talked earlier about um that's one thing I want Angel Reese and cardosa to get better at their perimeter passing they're great interior passers because that's their position they know where to be they know how to pass it inside but their perimeter passing out the post does need to improve if they we want all these shooters but those Shooters won't matter if Angel Reese and cardosa doesn't know how to pass to the perimeter off of offensive rebounds off of uh loose balls and off of cuts from because the shooters only benefit from how they pass the ball out inside out so that's is something both of them are going to have to improve on this off season coming off the rookie season going into their second year if we're going to be putting all this money and emphasis into getting Shooters they're going to get better at their perimeter Outlet passes because this was a bad pass by Angel Reese when it should have just been a touch pass or a simpler pass but I'll give her this I'll give her this we talked earlier about moving without the ball and finding a spot on the court if you watch how Angel Reese passed the ball she was expecting her to go shark corner right because look at the angle of the pass that's where she was actually expecting her to go and she was about to go there but she was just too late and recognized it too late but again hey I'mma send you that I'mma send you that Bill HD I'm you that bill but again this should have been a Twan this should have been an off of a pick and roll Angel Reese did the slip screen this should have been a two-man game on Andrew Reese getting that eight foot shot or hitting the corner hitting the corner uh player but they didn't work in cohesiveness again you gotta sometimes they on the court and they're just playing basketball I know we hear a lot like it's just BAS but there's a lot that goes into basketball that left out of that sentence cohesiveness is important when you think about playing basketball cohesiveness is important and again we don't got that much longer because I'm about to go on show Showtime channel go follow my boy Showtime uh I think he got the Colorado live going on his play bypl um but again these two right here should have been in cohesiveness on what they wanted out of that play because when you get the ball of a slip screen that's a great action Angel ree got it in the right spot he just made the wrong decision and the player made the wrong decision too they Wen they weren't smart enough in that set so again we we we we'll go back a little bit we'll go back a little bit we'll go back a little bit so Angel re gets it on the flip screen right here right here you see how cardos about to clear out you see in that sh right corner cardos is about to clear out that corner cuz her man's cheating in the paint cardos is about to her lady in the paint I got to stop saying man lady you know shout out WNBA shout out WNBA I just got to work on my terminology but uh her her her lady is literally standing in the paint because they don't care about her shooting but cardosa can literally set a side swipe screen on her so Jefferson can just float Conner and she got a open shot look at Angel's body see hey man y'all this y'all going pay for this one day remember I just told y'all Angel was expecting her to go to the corner because her body is already positioned that way because she see cardosis cutting and she don't really know coming off the screen you don't really know who's really open you just see people moving so your head is going to go towards the person that's moving the most in your vicinity or eye again c c c player C Ball you learn that in in in Middle School C player see ball so again look where Jefferson is she's not seeing the ball C player see ball he should have moved to the Shar Corner soon as she cleared out because the way Angel re is positioned that would have been her best pass but she has to her hips are already turned towards the Baseline for her to pass back like that is a bad pass because the def the the the shooter which is Jefferson should have went to the corner it would have gave her a better outlet but again I do want Andre Ree and cardosa to continue to improve on their Outlet passes outside the perimeter out of the post but the the players on the perimeter do have to help them so again it's really like nuances about it and how you can honestly get better game over game again hopefully how I'm breaking this down they're watching this and they're continuing to improve there are some things I continually see and I'm like that's so easy to fix why are we continuing to do that that's the things that I got to about but most things I just hope they're watching fil and just progress going through the not going through the progressions and actually figuring out how to advance their IQ throughout the season yeah BR yeah yeah a a point guard's IQ can literally control a offense yeah we we we don't we don't that's what I'm so baffled about Lindsay Allen though brass like she's a veteran point guard and the on my last stream uh when HD was on yesterday I was talking about how I wish uh Lindsay Allen if we do get a a rookie point guard in the draft I want Lindsay Allen to stay to tutor them but now I'm second guessing that I rather bring somebody else in who's a facilitating point guard who just ain't got it no more to just have them on the bench on a on a vet contract and just tooted a rookie like at this point I'll rather that because I wanted Lindsey Allen to at least start the season and then the rookie kind of come off the bench a couple games get their feet under them get termin NBA terminology and sets and then getting stirred into the starting lineup but at this point I rather us draft a good facilitating point guard come in yes Le no IQ at all let let a veteran point guard come in on a vet minimum that just ain't got it no more but got it up here and just go just just go from there hey BR I'm I'mma tell you something though I had one of my coaches when I was playing ball was a great shooter but as a coach what I've learned is as a coach it's hard for you to instill a lot of your stuff because as a coach you have to worry about so many different parts of the structure of the team that is not really you really get a lot of that one on one training so sometimes we be like oh man you got a good point guard as a coach or man you got a big man as a coach and your big man still suck because it's really hard for head coaches to really get down to the nitty-gritties of how to improve others at their actual positions that they play because so much goes into it and then it's hard to do it during the season and then in the offseason you got drafts coming up you take your vacation you got your family you got 10 it's like so much goes into it like one of my coaches was uh he had one of our three-point records but it was hard for him to really give me a lot of one- on-one because he has so much going on I would have to like stay late and he would have to be willing to stay late to do those things so yeah teaspoon can give her the nuances but again it's going to take someone to work with her on a one-on-one basis for her to really start reading the court a little better just sitting down with fume watching it hour over hour hour so again it your coach is hard for them throughout a game they can give you a little pointers here and there like hey let's do this instead because when I used to come off the screen I to do this it might work let's try it but like to truly instill it that would take the offseason and just one-on-one and a lot of coaches can't do that but yeah but again yeah tpoon would be great if she was just a trainer there or maybe an assistant coach tpoon would be a great option to Tage her but uh I wouldn't wouldn't I wouldn't put that on teaspoon uh but again this is all IQ cardos is gonna clear out this right corner all Jefferson had and Jefferson's a point guard too Jefferson's Jefferson's a point guard too like come on like read the floor look at this look at this look how she had to pass the ball look how she had to pass the ball like she had to turn her hips to pass the ball and the way she was she didn't see Lindsay Allen but but again like we got to we got to stop we got to stop that like that's that's ridiculous but again I do got to get out of here man I appreciate y'all for tuning in man y y'all was active in the chat I need more of that y'all keep the energy going uh again like hey I'm just here after every game just break down what's going on terminologies get y'all to understand courts so y'all can go to other channels and sound like professionals that's what I'm here for I'm here to Ed the YouTube platform so when y go to them other channels y'all can go sound like professionals y' ain't got to be scared to get on panels cuz now y'all know basketball that's what I'm here for and when you ask them who taught you tell them Prince taught you tell them Prince taught you the game tell them Prince showed you the court tell them Prince gave you the nuances and the understanding of how to read offenses and what they should be doing versus saying versus saying going on panels saying man we need a point guard and then you come on panels with me and I'm like what kind of point guard and then you stutter you stutter and now I got to make you look foolish I don't want y'all to look foolish when you see me on the panel now when y'all see me on panels don't come on them Pattel because ask HD I be making them look foolish don't just come up here doing no blanket statements because I'mma get you right don't come up here doing no blanket statements I'm G get you right but again I appreciate y'all for tuning in again I'm gonna Quest the 100 subscribers by the end of the week like I've been on these YouTube channels and they be having 3,000 subscribers like all of that like d Shan she on the injury report I don't think she I don't think she banged up though she should be all right unless she sick hopefully she ain't sick hopefully she ain't sick hopefully she ain't sick let's pray she ain't sick we don't need we don't need nobody missing no more games we only got like six or seven games left we don't need nobody missing any more games but again I'm on the way to 100 subscribers share like subscribe tell a friend to tell a friend Prince Sports media on Instagram Twitter we'll be don't cost anything to share screen because I be on streams and they be having 10,000 followers and I'd be like they don't know basketball they just post a lot of videos like so I already know once I take off I'm off to the racist once I take off I'm off to the races but again I know it's a tough journey in the beginning but tell a friend to tell a friend share like subscribe I'm out this piece but before I leave you already know I gotta go ahead on and drop that outro I want the gold I'm standing on X the best thing coming I guess I got next stocking my balls and you should invest hated on
