the man throwing that pass Thomas castalanos I know we're going to talk a ton about you right now but I know you always want to brag on your teammates Trey Shawn Ward comes in here tonight he went to Florida State transferred a couple times before landing at Boston to see him do what he did tonight what was that like from your perspective it was exciting uh since he got with us and like recruiting I was a part of that that big recruitment uh getting him here uh with to BC um just to see him go out there and have fun and play and get his get back or you know what I'm saying his revenge was it was amazing to see uh when I'm when I was recruiting him trying to get get him to BC you know this is the moments we talked about you know him you know showing out versus you know om Mo his old team so it was really exciting for me and I know it's big for him TC you guys executed The Game Plan acally on offense did a really good job of being clean the entire night what was the process like before you got into the actual game itself like when you got to Thursdays and Fridays putting together the game plan with the coaches what was that like for you uh schematically we got we got some great coaches you know that's been in the the next level so they know what they doing and they they scheming it up right but uh you know we we watch filming those guys and those guys on the island and we know we came out here you know we knew the game plan and we just executed it uh we protect the ball and our model was just one play at a time no matter what good or bad just one play at a time Tommy the game looked a lot slower for you today so I'm going to take it even F further back than Thursday I mean over the summer as soon as coach Bill O'Brien got there what kind of things were you working on CU I mean you looked really sharp out there tonight uh everything from a QB perspective uh our main thing in that QB room is just you know act like a pro uh uh perform like a pro carry yourself as a pro and that's on and off the field so from a firm perspective you know in the classroom or you know on the field off the field just being a pro and trying to execute as a pro and trying to get ready for the next level you look different as a player out there uh more under control how has Bill O'Brien helped shape how you view playing a quarterback position uh just really just listening to him like I said just listening to him being that being that sponge and soaking up all that wisdom that him and that you know that great staff is you know given me from weekend and week out uh from the whole summer whole training camp uh my goal my main thing is just listen to those guys you know theyve done it they've seen it they've been on like every level as it is national championships Super Bowls so I can't go wrong listening to him and that staff he said you were the most improved player on the team what part of your game do you feel like you improved the most on uh just being a better leader and just having Poise his main thing with me is just just stay here the whole time have good Poise uh throughout the game and and everybody would follow so just having Poise and being calm in the pocket or just you know as the game is going on on the sideline even on the field just having that Poise and being calm how great do you think this team could be man I mean you guys knock off a top 10 team in Florida State granted they had already had one loss to Georgia Tech but they still were ranked number 10 as you played them tonight uh one game at a time one play at a time that's our motto you know just just keep one thing and the main thing to main thing controllable to controllable how about those big offensive lineman man I mean you guys they just paved the way for you up front uh protected you obviously very well now I always loved having a quarterback like you cuz you make us right uh but just tell us a little bit about your offensive line and what you saw from them tonight uh those guys they're big for one and they're great uh they communicate well and they're really smart group of guys uh they kind of handle everything uh and I just re reconfirm it but those guys are really smart they they have a lot of experience so they know what they doing I trust those guys a lot and we have a great o line coach coach apple bottom that you know know get those guys ready to play yeah because you do so much for this team not only do you throw the ball you're running all over the field that that means recovery is extra important for you as qb1 it's a short week you can play again on on Saturday against duaine what does the week look like for you in particular well we I go to Boston College so we got class tomorrow there you go let them know let them know we we get back we got I got to go to class tomorrow uh in the afternoon stuff like that but uh treatment you know it's going to be available massage and you know stuff like that and just recovering getting in the weight room you know the coach uh coach fits and them and their staff is really good but we have a really good like treatment and you know a training staff and and a weight room staff and we do a lot of good recovery and stuff like that for our body so I'll be fine but I got to go to class tomorrow hey class is number one student athlete for a reason that's right Tommy we
