[Music] what's up guys thanks so much for clicking on the video my name is Leah and let's recap and review I think this is the final episode of chimp crazy this is episode 4 so let's get into it I think I'm going to do what I did last time for this episode that I did in episode three where they were jumping back and forth between stories but I'm just going to push the stories together and talk about them all together and yeah cuz that works for me and where are my notes let me get my note I got my notes so let's talk about it so let's talk about Sandy and Travis so it pretty much gives us an update of what transpired after Travis attack Charlotte and mauled her almost to death and so we end up seeing Carrie the stepdaughter again and we see the friend naen again so they pick us up where we left off where we're at the scene of the attack you can hear sy's audio of like the 911 call she's screaming she's upset she can't believe what happened um and then we actually get this old footage of naen and Sandy in the car together while she's speaking to a reporter and they're asking her all types of questions like girl what was you doing with this with this ape with this chimp and naen talks about how all these crazy stories start to come out about Sandy like the news was covering it and I I do remember that like it was on the news Faithfully for about I feel like a good month like you couldn't escape it and they even had someone write an article about Sandy allegedly like they were saying that Sandy and Travis had a relationship you know what I mean more you know she was sleeping with him and what's funny is during labor day um weekend my parents DEC deed to have like a cookout so I went to their place and a couple of their friends pulled up and I was telling one of her friends one of my mom's friends about watching the documentary and everything that was in it and I told her about the Travis and Sandy Story and she was like you know that lady was sleeping with her chimp and I was like I I didn't hear that and what was crazy is just like they're a lot older than me but it's just like being a child when this happened and like I just remember the attack I don't even remember people talking about uh like having those salacious stories about Sandy sleeping with Travis I do not remember that being a part of what was online especially in the news but it's just crazy that when when I brought the story up she was like yeah girl that's what the people was saying I said maam and so Carrie the stepdaughter ends up explaining that basically Sandy went into hiding it was like every other day there was a negative story about her then they bring up the Oprah special where Charlotte reveals her face and I remember this I really do I do remember Oprah singing happy birthday to her and I remember her doing like the face reveal and they asked naen like did she watch and she was just like once her face was revealed it was an image I couldn't I had to turn it off it was an image I just I I couldn't take anymore so um they talk about sy's home she left everything where it was like it was pretty much kind of like a a museum like the Elmo stuffed animal was still in the bed where Travis stayed Carrie ends up explaining that there was the blood of like what happened she just let it dry and Sandy never cleaned it up so it was kind of like she encased herself like she wanted to memorialize I don't think the situation but her life with Travis and with her husband Jerry because Jerry has passed away and now Travis is gone so Sandy was pretty much by herself and it makes sense why she well it doesn't and it does I mean I would clean up but also I had never experienced something that traumatic of watching something you love pretty much mutilate your friend so and then she already was dealing with the loss of her husband so I you know she was just going through hit after hit pretty much okay so then naen brings up a medium so Sandy decided to to contact a medium and get a reading because she she wanted something to hold on to so the medium said she tapped in the Travis Travis was telling her like don't worry about me mommy I'm okay um and then the medium said and it feels like there's something new coming or or another coming into your life so then we go back to Pam we met Pam on the first episode she was the one that irritatingly had her chimpanzee with a collar and a rope around its neck okay but we find out that Sandy and Pam became Partners they basically became co-parents to a chimp name chance um I don't I like basically Sandy found out about uh Pam and her like circus and the chimpanzees she's had as performers she pretty much started to follow Pam and her husband and her chimpanzees wherever they would go to every um Sideshow attraction to every circus uh Sandy would show up and eventually I guess Pam and Sandy connected and one day uh Pam called up Sandy and pretty much told her hey girl I got a chimp um he's in danger of getting taken away from his owner because they don't have the correct permits do you want this chimpanzee like do you want to go in half with me but really wasn't half cuz Pam lets us know that Sandy pretty much put in 20K and she put in 10k because the chimpanzee well I guess 13k or maybe Sandy put in 20 uh 23k but pretty much they um Pam didn't have all the money Pam didn't have all the money so having Sandy was needed for her to get the chimpanzee and we end up meeting chance that's who we saw on episode one who was like freaking out when he was watching the monkey on the TV and so Sandy and um chance you know she actually named the monkey chance you know giving him a second chance so she fell in love with chance Pam fell in love with chance as well she even um talked about how the day that they got him um Sandy wanted chance to sleep in the bed with her but he kept getting out of the bed to get in bed with Pam and Pam was like cuz he knew I was his mama I said girl he had a mother y'all kidnapped him from him okay cuz that I just that's the part that I just don't understand I just don't understand and Carrie brings up how she was just like after all of this I just didn't understand why she would get another chimp it's like you just had one that mauled your friend almost to death like why do you want another chimp we even see Sandy having like a interview with uh one of the news stations and the guy was like with all that has happened would you like do don't you think it's not um it's not right that people own chimpanzees and Sandy's like if you're asking me if I I would do this all again I would I said girl and she was trying to plead Travis's case she was like I I fed him I cleaned him I bathed him like he was always kind so I don't know what happened so getting the chimp getting um going in half with Pam to get Chance was a way for Sandy to I guess subside her grief but the stepdaughter Carrie basically said that it kind of made things worse basically Sandy was trying to feel the void of not having Travis and that is why she went in half with Pam to get chance and but unfortunately Sandy started to realize that chance was not feeling the void of not having Travis and it seemed like chance had gravitated more to Pam and her husband you even see Sandy try to do the whole thing that she used to do with Travis when he was a baby like put your um legs around my neck with chance and it wasn't it wasn't doing what it needed to it wasn't fulfilling her it was actually doing more harm than good to her so um we also find out that Sandy actually snuck Travis into Connecticut with the help of Pam and her husband and Carrie the stepdaughter talked about how if the state of Connecticut found out that she had um chance in her house or it was in possession of any chimpanzee she would have been she'd have been in massive trouble so then they talk about one day um Sandy was talking about how she wasn't feeling good she was kind of sore she was hurting and unfortunately um she passed away from I think an aneurysm I think it said a ruptured aortic um aneurysm so it's seeming like she uh one of her blood vessels or her not her blood vessel her aort ruptured which you need that cuz that helps pump blood throughout your whole entire body Pam believes that ultimately Sandy died of a broken heart and on um on the day that they buried her they actually had Travis's ashes and they placed them in the casket with her and Pam was just like when your chimpanzee passes away a piece of you actually passes away we end up spending more time with Pam where she pretty much lets us know she don't really see it for Peter the same way Tanya don't see it for Peter she also believes that like taking these animals who are um used for like entertainment purposes like in movies or on S shows and stuff you're ultimately taking like their fun and joy away like when you retire an old person and they'll die she was just kind of like we humanize these chimps and I was like you didn't humanize anything like that's the lens that you have at the end of the day they are chimpanzees they are an animal it can't communicate with you it can communicate with you but it can't do it on the level of a human so stop comparing them to humans like you do a disservice to humans as well as them because I feel like if you believe in animals a human you won't take care of them the way that they need to be taken care of as an actual like animal you know cuz then you'll start feeling bad for doing things that is going to help them so she also talks about how like you know I treat my chimps like padas you know they don't like the rain they don't like this we actually see her with chance why he has the Rope around his neck and she has him like climbing on this platform but she also has goats and chance doesn't like the poop and I said nobody likes goat poop okay it's stank it's horrible and she was like oh it's off it's off come on chance climb up there and she was like see he's like he's very premod I said I don't think any animal wants to be in another animal's feces like what are we talking about Pam but she also brings up how she's had um some of her chimpanzees sleep at the White House and they show like a actual clip of Pam with another chimp with a rope around its neck and we end up seeing Tracy President Nixon's daughter in the um in the audience watching the chimpanzees perform or the chimpanzee perform so she's like you know they just don't know what they're doing she was like and then she kept saying they enjoy it and I'm like how do you know they enjoy it she then she said if you ask chance he'll tell you he loves it I said it chance can't speak maybe if you taught him how to sign but even with signing he probably can't give you co hearing sentences like that like that but I was like how do you know he enjoys you with tying a rope around his neck and forcing him to perform like a circus show and then we find out that he's like living in a shed like we find out that um Pam doesn't allow the animals to sleep in her house anymore like they sleep in this like shed but it looks like it might be a little bit bigger but they did not allow the film crew to go in there but it looks like he has another room like a a cage in in the shed now mind you I've seen that before I've actually gotten the opportunity to go with like USDA like inspectors to like these types of facilities so I'mma give her the benefit of the doubt it might be bigger on the inside because I've been bamboozled before too I remember pulling up we pulled up to somebody's house and I was like monkeys live here and when we went into the backyard she had a huge the lady had a huge complex and it was it wasn't chimpanzees but it was like um New World monkeys so they're a lot smaller and most of the animals that she got were like for rehabilitation like it was from people who illegally had them she had like Capuchin she had the really small I don't I think they I don't think they're called spider monkeys but very small ones where like a police officer had this one like in its house another other monkey she had someone had bought a house and just left their monkey in the garage and when the realator came over to show the house when they pulled up the garage the monkey darted out so she wasn't a part of the whole like purchasing and buying exotic PE she was actually very much against that I got a lecture about it so I mean it can be done but I'm just looking at Pam like I don't know girl cuz the whole like he he enjoys it you can ask chance I'm like can she chance can't speak so how you know chance likes it so the next scene we have of Pam is it's a it's Chance's funeral I said girl they're at some restaurant a bunch of people are there so it looks like you know Pam got some type of community they having like a memorial service for him he they ended up cremating him cuz they have him in this like really nice wooden box and Pam actually gets on the stage and thanks everybody for being here it says how chance was her second chance at like having the ability to have a child you know at her old age and she know she's just so grateful for him but I was like you're so grateful for him but then we see you out in the parking lot you know begging for another chimp talking about if there's somebody out there that needs a chimp that you know a chimp that needs love I'll love it forever just call me so this this did chance really mean something to you if you're going to go like you not even you're not even seeming like taking like more time to grieve for real for real the loss of chance if you already petitioning the people to give you a new chimp but then we also find out that Pam got three other chimps and they're like full grown adult chimps and the sad thing about it is is like at the end of the episode they did a montage of all of the chimpanzees that were featured in the um documentary that passed away and they all have died of pretty young ages after finding out that chimpanzees are are normally live like out in the wild to be like 40 and 30 like 39 years old and chance died at 15 that's young like cuz the way she had described it is that like chance was playing and all of a sudden he killed over so Pam thinks maybe he had like a brain aneurysm I said maybe he had a heart attack cuz y'all are feeding him coffee and tea and and donuts like I just I don't understand I don't understand but the other chimps I was like maybe y'all need to do a documentary or somebody need to call Peta to get them out of that because she introduced us to the other chimps and they're like in like pretty much like outside doll cages you know if you know what I mean like it's the fencing with the top cover they got maybe one or two platforms and I'm like that's not enough room for them I don't even own those things and I know that's not enough room for them you got one of The Chimps I think she called him Ricky he started whing out you see him run back and forth in the fcon cage and like he hit that cage so hard it like ricocheted and I'm like that's because it's fencing it's not like metal bars I'm like why do you think this is okay and they just look unhappy for for people who say like they love their animals and they care so much about them and they can tell when they're unhappy I'm like how am I somebody that's never been around your animals and I can see that the living conditions aren't the best for them and that they don't seem happy in these conditions but somehow in your brain they are happy crazy let's talk about Tanya when I tell you the opening of this episode made me uncomfortable and it weirded me out she's just laying in the bed with this harsh makeup on and that thick mascara just swallowing just like and I'm confused I'm like why are y'all zooming in on her face like that we then hear like a voice over of her talking about Tonka while they're showing um what's it called King Kong like I I don't know what version of King Kong it was maybe it was like the 70s version of King Kong because like the green screen looked a mess and you could tell it was like just but it's King Kong when he I don't know what they call the female character but he has the female character and like he's purposely pushing her into the waterfall so she she can get wet then he drops her in the water so now she's like drenched and wet and so he's blowing her off and then all of a sudden she starts to go like she's loving it and I'm I'm free like I I'm uncomfortable okay I am uncomfortable and I don't like it okay fix it so Tanya just starts talking about Tonka how she'll do anything for Tonka like she would even leave her husband for Tonka because Tonka and her had a bond that was unmatched I said if I was your husband I would leave you like girl what so then we get this like um video footage from Tanya's phone we're back into her house and all of a sudden the police is there there's like several different cars and it's pretty much Peter they like they knocking on the door they're like Tanya open the door we're here da da da and Tanya's like freaking out she ends up calling d uh Dwayne you know the proxy director so he's on the phone and he are like he's like oh crap and he was like someone Tanya is like someone snitched on us and Dwayne's eyes just get big like oh God he she was like someone recorded their conversation and gave it to Peta and now they're here to get Tonka so Dwayne's like I'm coming I'm coming so he pulls up to the house and they didn't get Tonka that day when we end up seeing the footage of the police outside her house but they comeing back the next day while um Dwayne gets there um Tanya is like he was like are you going to leave like what's going on she's like no I got like a an appointment to get lip fillers at 4:15 and Dwayne's like what she was like I'm on my way I'm on my way so Tanya is telling Dwayne on the phone like she is planning to move Tonka like she's like I'm just going to move him and Dwayne's like Tanya don't don't do nothing stupid so then we actually see Dwayne at a gas station and they pretty much wiring him up they have like him miked with a fake camera and he goes into Tanya's house you could tell that Tanya is like distraught Justin her son even kind of looks upset but I don't know if he's not if he's upset because his mom is upset or if he's actually upset because they're taking Tonka but he's not really saying much um like Tanya is on the couch talking about I need to know who snitch I got to figure out who who like who snitch so then they actually go down in the basement to se Tonka and like you hear Tanya be like I think I'm just going to take him and run and Dwayne is like girl don't do that cuz you are going to be all over the internet all over the the the news like he's trying his best to encourage her not to do nothing stupid you didn't hear her son Justin be like Mom it's okay like chill out so then they put a a like a q card and it's June 2022 and Tanya is pissed because the cars are back the police are back and she sees you know AKA peee Herman you know she don't like that man you know she don't like that man so I think Britney was with him as well the other uh Peta lawyer and so she's getting irritated when she sees Jared and you hear her son again be like Mom don't do nothing stupid don't do nothing stupid so Tonka is freaking out like you hear him screeching he's not as quiet like they said as he used to be he's just like going off cuz he's like know something is about to happen um we find out that they kicked Tanya out of the basement and out of the room and so like while the vets and everyone is downstairs trying to prep to Dart Tonka to take him out of the cage um Tanya is recording and you could hear him screeching like she's in one of her rooms and you just hear him like going he's going off probably because he don't know these people he doesn't know what they're they're they're doing so we we actually see Tonka outside the have him like stretched out um cuz they have like a makeshift area they actually have to um put him under anesthesia cuz they had the anesthesia machine and they do a EKG testing to see if his heart is actually like in bad condition like can they move him for such a long time or not but the EKG checked out and they can move them then we actually see Eric you know the other director um on FaceTime or I think it was like a video call with Britney um the Peta lawyer and she pretty much was saying that like we were hopeful and kind of nervous at the same time because they were like if the EKG came back that like Tonka could not be moved then we were going to have to leave him there they also was worried that he might have been dead because of you know the whole um Tanya talked about euthanizing him so Britney was just like we we didn't really know what was going on but ultimately um Tonka was approved and they said that he could be moved I got to give Jared his props cuz there's this one picture of Jared and he has all these monkeys on the in the back of him and he's just sitting in front of them like perched I said oh you ate that Jared you ate that and I guess those are all the monkeys that they were able to free but like that was a clean photo for Jared so we find out that um Dwayne has been trying to get in contact with Tanya but she's not responding and we have like a montage of him like going to the state fair being in hotel rooms doing things calling Tanya like back toback and she's not picking up um Dwayne ends up calling Eric and being like well ah you know she's not responding to me and Eric's like do you think she know we we turned her in and then Dwayne's like you didn't see the Rolling Stones article and Eric's like what Rolling Stones article so then we end up getting like a story cover of Tanya and it was covered by a journalist by the name of Cheyenne and and in that she did some digging and she put in the article about how um Eric is the guy that made Tiger King and you know that pretty much uh Tanya didn't know that CU a lot of people stay clear of Eric because of how crazy the um Tiger King was and how it put a bad Spotlight on the um exotic industry in America as well as expose how it's unethical so they're just kind of like yeah stay away from Eric so Eric sits down with Cheyenne and Cheyenne pretty much says you know I normally cover like stories about um actors and artists and all of that stuff but ultimately what got me into this is Allen's Cummings when he decided to step his toe into the water and offer an extra 10K I was like okay this story might be interesting so I actually called up Tanya didn't expect her to pick up and she told me everything and um Cheyenne is upset that like she pretty much feels blindsided by y'all because Eric is like how do you think she feels about all of this and cheyen is like I think she feels blindsided she also was like she likes Tanya you know you talk to her she lets you in and she tells you pretty much everything and Eric is like well she knew we were filming a documentary so why would she tell us everything and Cheyenne is like because Tanya like to talk and she do Tanya is that person that just be talking sometimes just to hear themselves talk and they actually and she it seems like she gets a high off of like saying outrageous things to get people to like be like oh for real because some of the things she was saying I was like girl why are you telling us this you do know you're being filmed you do know you're being filmed and Cheyenne said for a moment she she she likes Tanya the thing about Tanya is Tanya is a character that you can somewhat like fall in love with because she's so delusional that you enjoy her but then reality sets in when you realize what she's doing to these animals isn't right and you have to take a step back and that's pretty much what happened to Cheyenne she was like I was really like in like you know loved interacting with her talking to her until I saw that picture that picture of her in tonka's um enclosure and I don't know why I don't know why Tanya had on that that MooMoo when I tell you it was given horror movie like I said girl what is this and Cheyenne said once I saw that it was like oh like this is bad like he stayed in there like that's where you had him there and she was like I don't get how she didn't see how what she was doing was wrong and maybe she's just blinded by her own what she believes is love and I was like yeah that's probably what it is girl so the next scene we get is actually of Tonka at Save The Chimps which is the sanctuary we saw in episode one beautiful they got 12 islands and over like 200 chimpanzees and I guess each island hold like a certain fraction of chimp and I guess I was always like they can swim can't they I don't know I think they can maybe they have to be taught or they have to learn to do it or someone has to show them how to do it and maybe that's why they haven't like jumped in the water to go to the other islands that are there but they put Tonka in quarantine cuz you know they got to make sure everything's okay with him and all of that stuff before they actually let him be in a troop or in a in a community we end up finding out that t pretty much lied about him having an enlarged heart I said girl what what you mean she lied the Vets there checked and they basically said he had no heart condition he was just overweight and and had a horrible diet and I said I can believe that I I can believe y'all over there feeding them Happy Meals power raid and chocolate milk that's probably why his body was doing what it was doing where she was like it's fluid in his arms girl no so they basically said Tanya lied about that um we actually see Tonka touching grass like and I've I've been wondering like how long has it been since he's touched grass because they end up showing us where he was living like how he was living in Tanya's basement and she just had pellets on the ground like that you would use for like rabbits and fets and I was just like that ain't no way for him to live and so I was happy to see him touch the grass and he seemed kind of like unsure of things but like Okay um it was interesting it really was we end up seeing that Dwayne is trying to again contct Tanya and he's talking to Eric and Eric was like do you think she'll pick up this time and he's like I don't know they end up asking Dwayne well how do you feel about this and Dwayne is just like you know I told Tanya don't say anything you don't want the world to know and in that regard you can't even fault the documentary team for being like deceptive in a sense because it is deceptive deceptive to have Dwayne be the proxy director and not the actual director but if we're if they're telling you girl you're filming a documentary don't say anything that you don't want the people to know and you do it anyway then how can you be mad other than be mad at yourself you know what I'm saying because when they talk about Cheyenne and Sh and Cheyenne asking her like who do you think told on you with the with the what's it called with the recording of the conversation the the audio and stuff and she was like who have you told and basically Tanya told everybody she said I told my friends I told my kids I told the documentary team and that's when Cheyenne was like oh that's when she started doing her research and stuff to figure out who was the documentary team so she actually gets um no Dwayne actually calls her and Tanya actually picks up the phone this time and you can tell that DNE is remorseful cuz he do he does like Tanya but he's also knows that Tanya is not doing right by these animals so while on the phone when I tell you I got to laugh out of this while on the phone um T is like do you Dwayne like I always out of all of the documentaries him I really loved you because I knew you really cared about animals I could see it but she was like do you know about Eric Goodman and Dwayne's like yeah she was like you know his mom's a prostitute and the way Eric was like I cackled not a prostitute I think she ended up saying his mom abused him and she I said I don't know how Eric Eric didn't say anything cuz I'd have been like who you talking about not my mama it was funny it was funny cuz Dwayne was laughing he was like girl and so um she ends up saying y'all didn't harm me you harm Tonka tonka's not happy you know he's just he's not happy there she ends up sending a picture of Tonka while he's at the um the uh rescue center to Dwayne and I mean like I can't tell if Tonka is sad or happy cuz he always look sad to me you know she just looked tired so Tanya just was like you know what if you can't beat him you if you can't beat him might as well join him so she was like I'll meet with you one more time but I just want to get the truth out about my situation next scene we have is actually Tanya and Eric Goodwin or good no is it good no Goodman Eric Goodman the director meeting up and but first Dwayne meets Tanya first and they go to like this 1970s 1968 dilapidated hotel and they sit down and they talk and you know Dwayne ask Tanya like how she's doing she's like she's doing all right and then he asked her would you be okay with meeting Eric and Tanya you see is kind of like mulling over that idea but ultimately she ends up saying yes we find out that Eric was already like on the premises he was just waiting to see if she was going to say yes or no he actually was like following behind them when they walk into the hotel room so she's like yeah I'll meet with him we end up seeing um Eric talking by himself or like you know to somebody uh one of his crew mates where they were like how you feel she was like I he's like I don't really know you could tell that he's nervous he was like she feels like she's right she feels like she's not the bad guy in this but don't we all feel that way when it comes to stories about us and I was like yeah that is true actually see Eric and Tanya meet and Eric tries to be like he tries to be cool with Tanya where he's like you know I'm kind of the same as you I have animals that I love to death that if someone took them away for me I wouldn't be okay and he says honestly the reason why we went forward with contacting Peta is because you told us you was going to put Tonka down and we were trying to figure out were you putting him down for the right reasons like because of his health or were you putting him down so like that all of this would go away and Tanya was like well I thought about it but honestly I was going to to drug him and then we were going to go to Mexico and I was going to get some coyotes to to take us to Mexico I said you were going to take Tonka to Mexico she talked about building an enclosure and staying in some Villa I said girl that girl what T is crazy T is crazy so she says that she's only meeting with Eric because she wants Tonka back and she was like if this is a way to get Tonka back I'll do it cuz you know at the end of the day he's my kid he's my humy I said girl humy so then it's five months since Tonka has been gone and you know Tanya says you know her way of coping with things is pretty much ignoring things but then you see that she is eating a bunch of sweets like she's eating like donuts she got a bunch of cupcakes she's eating Coca-Cola [ __ ] like no one of them animals diet is bad cuz Tanya's diet is bad and so we then see her going around her her farm and like feeding camels goats the baby monkeys that she has um what the kangaroo the donut that she was eating I was just like see this is why don't nobody think you need these animals cuz you don't you don't take care of them properly T so it then jumps forward to 10 months since Tona has been gone and the petting zoo or the zoo that Tanya has is kind of like a they're having like a soft open so we also find out that Tanya owes Peta pretty much $250,000 in basically um court fees for this whole ordeal and she don't got the money she does not have the money we end up seeing that like she broke her like leg not her leg her foot at first I thought she was lying but then when they zoomed in on her feet you actually see like a scar in like stitches of like her incisions and everything so she was just like yeah some things happened she was like pretty much she's being bled dry she can't drive so she can't broker animals back and forth and transport them also like the animal buying business is kind of slowed up for her so she's just kind of hoping that this Zoo works because she needs something like she needs something where she can get money coming in we then hear like a montage of debt collectors calling Tanya for her to pay her bills I said t going through it she's also scared that peta's going to come in and shut down her Zoo we then see Britney talk how about how pretty much Tanya uses this Zoo as like advertisement for her brokering business of like brokering the exotic animals because you do see people petting with the camels playing with the goats and stuff but then they have a moment where they have like a baby sloth and I said you have a baby sloth I said girl and there's passing around monkeys you hear her telling this lady like you know we don't always have the same babies every time but like whenever you come there might be a different one so what Peta is saying is true that Tanya is using this to Market herself and get money if she I mean I'm kind of like if they want to get their money back she G have to do something I know this ain't what they want her to do she got to do something we see Tanya sitting down at her kitchen table reading this long email from Peta that basically was like Hey if you pretty much sign this letter saying that you will not breathe you will not buy you will not like um broker any more animals you will not even have the animals you have in your vicinity we will stop trying to collect the debt from you and Tanya was like oh they're crazy cuz I'm not doing that she then gets really upset she was like honestly all of this I will stop doing everything they want me to do if they give me Tonka and I said girl they're not giving you Tonka they're not you then have Eric asking Jared like y'all do know like she ain't got no money like are y'all really okay with like taking a quarter of um like a million dollars from her and Jared is like that's not our intent because honestly ultimately that money is going to go into the funds for us to keep fighting but we can't allow her to keep doing what she's doing and I said that is your intent you want to have her destitute and broke so she doesn't have the ability to purchase more animals and that's the thing about Peta I feel like Peta likes to act like what they do isn't harmful to humans and I'm not saying that what Tanya did is right because I don't agree with it I I don't but I rather you just admit that that's what you're trying to do than hide it in the guys of like oh that money's going to go back into us so we can keep fighting for these animals and like we don't want her to end up like homeless but I'm like but you know your actions are doing that so you might as well just admit it in my opinion so as the episode continues we then get this scene of Tanya she in the car crying listening the jelly roll now mind you when I tell you I laughed at this scene because I wasn't paying attention to the screen I was like scrolling on my phone and the next thing you know I hear her singing and I was like why is she singing But the lady is sad she's sad she got this letter from Peta they're basically telling like they're pretty much stripping everything from her and she was like honestly if they would just give me Tonka I would comply but she realizes Tonka is not coming back she actually is like it's starting to set in that she's never going to see him again because I don't even think they allow her to go to the sanctuary and so she's um is it the sanctu yeah Sanctuary so she's just like in the car crying just crying we then see Allan Cummings actually goes to the save the chimp sanctuary and he sees Tonka he starts crying and he's just happy that he's in a better place I was like how can you tell which one is which cuz they all look the same to me he ends up saying that he hopes that like there's one day where Tanya can look back at this documentary and feel a sense of like joy and possibly not be angry but he understands and I was like she is going to hate Peter for the longest time when she was waving that don't tread on me flag I said oh she she knows how to hold on to that type of hate she she's like she she not giving it up she not giving it up so we then get this scene of Dwayne on the phone and it's Tanya and she's like I effed up I effed up I effed up and he's like whoa whoa whoa what's wrong and we end up hearing her say that she got into an enclosure with a adult chimpanzee so they pull up to Tanya's house they're like Tanya like how you doing like what's going on and she sits down she has like her hand is bandaged she's walking extremely slow Like You Can Tell She's hurt we find out that she has bite like marks on her leg and possibly her back um her fingers almost got taken off and there's a piece of her ear missing so she tells us that she was going to go kick it with one of her friends and when she got into the enclosure with their uh adult chimpanzee he went off on her and it started to attack her she she didn't want to end up like Charla so she turned her back to the animal and that's how she got bit on the leg and on the back and she said once her friend got involved and they got him to calm down and like got the animal to chill she basically rushed to the hospital with her ear so that they could reattach it I said lawyer have mercy T why would you do that why would you do that so um we also find out that the animal like the chimp dislocated her shoulder I said girl he messed you up good she says she has nightmares like every time she goes to sleep she remembers what happened to her but in all honesty she would still get chimpanzees even though she got attacked I said that's why people think you crazy that's why I think you crazy so and it's this part wasn't even the animals fault because why are you going in there with them you know that animal could beat you down so why are you going in there with them we never saw you get into the cage with Tonka well that doesn't mean you didn't do it but we never saw saw you do that on camera so why would you be so comfortable doing it with somebody else's chimpanzee I don't know T so she then talks about and this is when the episode starts winding down where she ends up saying that she wants to um purchase an island the same way they do at Save The Chimps so in her um area land I think it's like Lake Ozark there's actually an island and they do a aerial shot and it looks like there's a house there so somebody used to live there and it's up for sale and what she wants to do is it's crazy she wants to I guess get some chimpanzees some baboons some G like a gorilla or an orangutang or have like basically she wants to call it Tonka Safari where the animals just roam on the island and they can come into the house when they want to they can leave if they want to but like she just wants them to roam free but I feel like things started to register for Tanya that she sounded crazy because then she's like I don't know maybe just chimps but she just sound she was like all I know is like that's where I want to be but she sounded crazy and it I feel like she started to realize she don't sound that great she she don't sound great and I said girl you got you almost got killed like had that person not been able to calm their chimpanzee down you might have ended up like Charlotte if not worse because Charlotte got is I think still alive you could have been killed so I don't understand why you think this is cool don't get it so she ends up um well no I think that's where it ends yeah the episode ends up ending right there where we see her like waving the don't tread on me flag and then the screen goes black and they pretty much say that there's still no federal law Banning people from owning chimpanzees in the um us as well as the wildlife exotic Black Market is pretty much um forcing chimpanzees into Extinction it's like pushing them closer and closer and I'm like for these people to say they love these animals they love them so much you're actually actively harming them and like pushing them forward into Extinction that makes no sense to me and then they do the Montage of all of these chimpanzees that passed away at very young ages once you realize chimpanzees are supposed to live to be 40 you know they had one that was 27 I don't remember Connor but they showed Connor I don't remember Connor but you had um um Travis passed away at for well Travis got taken up out of here at 14 um I think Buck was 17 and then chance was 15 so they were still like very young and because of how people were raising them or putting them in these environments they got clapped so what are we doing so yeah y'all that is it that is all as always remember to be bravely authentic and thank you for watching I appreciate all the comments and commentary y'all had down in the comments below I enjoy reading your comments so yeah I'm out y'all deuces [Music]
