Well, news right now, former president, Donald Trump must put a halt to the use of Isaac Hayes's song. Hold on. I'm coming at least for now. A federal judge issued a temporary injunction saying Trump and his campaign cannot use the song without proper licensing during campaign events. The Hayes state threatened to sue Trump over his use of the song. Attorneys claim Trump violated copyright infringement for the unauthorized use of the song 134 times over the past two years. That order does not require the Trump campaign to take down any previously recorded uses of the song. Hayes' son says he's pleased with the decision and is happy he's able to protect his father's legacy. You know, I couldn't ask for a better decision. I want this to serve as an opportunity for other artists to come forward that dealt with their music used by Donald Trump or other political entities and continue to fight for music artists rights and copyright. Well, Haes son says Trump is now prohibited from using his father's music. A trial will determine if the videos did indeed infringe on copyrights
