3 2 1 and with that another season at the Grand Prairie Farmers Market got underway as hundreds of Runners Walkers strollers and even some of their four-legged friends joined mayor Ron Jensen on a pleasant spring Saturday morning for what has become a very popular tradition his annual mayor's Community 5K that begin and ends at the city's award-winning [Music] Marketplace and once again waiting there a festival atmosphere with live entertainment a community health fair and an all-time record 57 vendors quite a way to start a new season and to show anyone who's looking to explore in 2024 there are good things in store in downtown Grand Prairie obviously farmers market now open from the beginning of April through the second week of December long run we're here every single week you could depend on our vendors to be here you could depend on us to be here every week this is what we want to do we want to bring people to Downtown Grand Prairie we want them to discover the the restaurants the shops the businesses that are in Downtown Grand Prairie and the more people we can get down here that can see the great things that we have in downtown the better thank you thank you so much if if you'd like information on becoming a vendor at the Grand Prairie farmers market or to see this season's schedule of events please visit gptx.org Farmers Market
