Knicks punch back, NBA + NHL Playoffs Storylines, NFL drops schedule, Astros cheat again

Intro all right everybody the sports Clash is back we are recording this Tuesday night May 14th we'll be out Wednesday the 15th and I'm coming off a huge Nicks win and I'm feeling phenomenal Chris how are you I'm good man yeah you should be feeling good we're feeling good New York's feeling good New York's Feeling Good Feeling there's a possibility that you get uh game seven at the Garden on Saturday for the Rangers and game seven at the Garden Sunday for the Knicks which is insanity but honestly like I I'm an Islanders fan I don't like the Rangers I don't usually root for them but I want them to win in Carolina I don't want that like pressure like Saturday they win game seven then the Knicks have to follow it up I'm playing mental games here I'm just I just I just want them to win I like The Vibes that are going on with the garden as much as it's disgust me and I hate the Rangers I just it's my I love the Knicks so much that I'm mentally just like explaining things away as the Rangers win I'm like this is good for the Knicks this is good this works but bottom line here I mean Knicks punch back the Knicks had a miserable weekend in Indie Friday Friday they were up 20 go to Indie uh Friday was a tight game but you you knew that OG was out and OG an noi has been the Difference Maker since they acquired him from from Toronto for RJ and quickley uh he's been just a defensive stalworth he plays the wing perfect he he hits his threes he can finish inside he does everything that you want on this team and they were up 20 and he looked phenomenal and when Brunson got hurt in that game too he was the guy who stepped up and kept them in that game and then Brunson came back and was Unreal and then OG gets hurt and you're like what like come on I mean you got Randall out bonovich out Robinson out um it's just it's been tough but OG's got the hamstring injury he's out so you're going to Indie and then game three you're right there you can win that game and and pretty much end the series go up 3 0 and just a couple things don't go your away at the end uh Carlile complained and bitched and moaned after game two and he got yeah and he got the Sixers did the same thing and they got their calls at home so they got their calls game three but honestly game three was tight and the Knicks didn't hit free throws at the end and they missed a couple shots but there was a clear foul that wasn't called on Haren Stein inside but not going to get into that bottom like there's too much of that it's just it's ruining the the NBA the playoffs it's too much complaining every like your Twitter feed is just slowmo replay oh look he grabs them here like come on this is bad this you gotta play you gotta play these games so but Carlile I I after game one carile uh you know said I don't want to talk about the officials blah blah blah I like this is a good you know I respect Carlile he's not like Nick nurse who's out there bitching moaning and then he comes out after game two when they lose and cries hard and then says and then they comp they file like 70 something calls 78 78 to the league like unbelievable and then look it worked because it was tight in game three but a couple calls didn't go the way and and but the Knicks didn't execute at the end and then they lost and you were missing OG obviously but they still they were right there game three and then game four which now will go down as the infamous Infamous Mother's Day Massacre it was uh game four was rough uh they got their ass whooped in indie and the series was tied and they didn't look they at no point were they competitive so tonight going into going into Tuesday night game five it was okay we're back Knicks beat Pacers at the Garden where we play our best basketball is Jaylen gonna be healthy enough and can this the subs you know McBride Burks all these guys can they step up and that's what happened it was unbelievable Jaylen Brunson looked like his foot was 100% which is just oh so beautiful to see I I mean I'm so tired of watching my superstars on my favorite teams just die out you know with judge last year and then Aaron Rogers in in three seconds and I just I'm watching this playoff run with the Knicks and it's just it's just so much fun and then I see Brunson going down like come on come so I guess they it was it was almost like the basketball gods were like all right fine we'll we'll let brunson's foot be okay but we're taking OG's hamstring like all right fine but Brunson tonight was absolutely phenomenal the Pacers thought that they had a lock down uh defender on Brunson and Aron Smith and it wasn't the case tonight because it was just Brunson wasn't wasn't 100% these last two games and now he look he had the burst tonight the shot was falling everything was working and through some double teams too he he fought through everything Isaiah hartenstein 31 minutes 17 boards just unbelievable work by that man it's just and Brunson at 44 McBride stepped up 17 Josh Hart 1811 I mean the guy just does it he does it every night D this was the first game we won with Dante dienzo not hitting uh multiple threes and he didn't H any threes he went over for six from three he was shut TJ M he only had eight points but he he had he actually hit two uh had two big dunks and played really well defensively uh got they got into it they a little physical in the game some would say he was the emotional leader tonight he was he was it was like the emotional hedge there Alec Burks I got to give it up for Alec Burks I was gonna ask you how do you feel about that trade now I mean it when that trade happened and I got bonovich and Burks it was okay bogdanovich is the guy who's going to play key minutes off the bench and Burks may be can can give you something off the bench and B Burks did not play well for us at all bonovich was clearly the difference Baker but then he goes down and with all these injuries you had to turn to Burks and the man has stepped up big five five for eight from three six for 11 from the floor 18 points five boards it's just I I I can do nothing I I can't say anything negative about the man it was unbelievable and man Tyrese halberton was talking [ __ ] after game four and there's there's clips of him talking [ __ ] on the court to the next game four and Brunson walked off the court in Indie and said it's a long [ __ ] series that's what he said and damn right you damn [ __ ] right man I mean wow this was just so much fun I'm I'm enjoying it I'm still nervous because you're going into Indie where the Pacers haven't lost this this playoffs they're a good team they can score with anybody they they have a ton of talent but we can play with them we showed it tonight and even without OG even without Randall without all these injuries you know with all these guys it's we can we can hang we can not only hang with them we can we can blow them out if we're playing at our best so just a beautiful a beautiful Tuesday night I'm so very happy because when you get blown out and that the series is tied you start to qu question the team and you wonder you're worried but no such thing no such worries Tuesday night we're up 32 we go to we got two days rest which is huge Brunson can can chill the boys can chill uh get get recover yeah OG's not gonna be back for that game they said maybe game seven but most likely just Easter Conference Finals if they get there uh which sucks but right that's that's the case so if you have a chance now you go into Indie you you end it and worst case scenario you're back at the Garden Sunday winter take all if jaylen's healthy I don't see him letting letting that game slip away well the rest will be much necessary for him for sure I mean this is a guy who's overcoming a pretty stocky body type and he's getting he's getting hacked a lot here he's getting double teams uh he's got a guy a little bit longer than him guarding him so you know he'll he'll benefit from the uh from the rest for sure and then who knows OG could be a boost if there's a game seven or you know if uh we get to the Celtics or whatever in the next round who knows but at least you have two chances to win and it looked pretty dominant tonight uh little bit of nervousness for your heart and your family and and you overall your overall health uh in the third quarter but they uh they dominated all the way through so it was a good game want be some money happy about it yeah it's great I lost money cuz I emotional hedge but that's fine course fine with me fine with me I'm good I'm feeling great uh but I you know I just I had to and it was this was actually their first it took 11 games for them to win a game without stress in the fourth quarter like this was a w this was after they they went they fell down early but then they they got the lead and it was kind of wire to wire from there they just didn't right that's when I went on the live bets I got plus three and a half uh pretty even odds Brunson at 33 and a half um worked out pretty well yeah love the NBA when it works out in your favorites it's extremely frustrating when it doesn't especially live betting betting on the NBA it's very tough and playoffs are just how's your pace your your hard I just put it out of sight out of mind that I'm thinking about my heart rate is just through the roof spikes when mowing the lawns spikes when watching the Knicks yeah yeah yeah it's just a lot of steps a lot of steps a lot of movement it's great ni but I mean I'm I'm a happy man and Jaylen Brunson man they they pissed him off that that Sunday you could tell when he walk up that Court he sets long series and and Halbert man he was talking trash for a Knicks overwork Pacers guy talking that much trash didn't do anything ton night the guy look I don't want to take away from the Pacers and then halbert's talent because he is incredible I know he's dealing with an injury too but like he he just he didn't take any shots and he disappeared yeah he was a not factor I know he led the league in assist and he is that kind of player but like in the playoffs in these games you need you need him to be hitting his threes the reason they blew us out game four was because he was lights out from three right and yeah they have other guys who could shoot I get it uh Miles Turner for a big man is unbel able shooter and he went on a little bit of a run at this game about two threes but the fact that like we were able to shut them those those big boys down with with just hartenstein and atua as the only guys over six7 like it's wild AR Stein's rebound he had what 10 11 offensive rebounds it's just and that's tibs man and the whole narrative since Sunday has picked up where it's like ah tibs just overworks his players they're they're War down they don't have anything left and Stan Van Gundy who was annoying as hell on the broadcast all night um he was he was he was just brutal uh he was playing for a he he wanted a he wanted a hardfought match he didn't want to give anybody a tactical no flame no no but at the end he he threw a little sarcastic comment out there it's like clearly the Knicks uh clearly tips has overwork these Knicks they haven't had any hustle tonight you know he was he was throwing out the sarcasm which I appreciate is for sure it's just it's stupid when when all the players are like no he's not it's not that at all like and you look at all of the injuries I mean I mean Randall was a Randall was a fluke play against the Heat uh Robinson got his ankle pulled on twice pulled on by embiid and then fallen on uh by uh um who was it it was the veteran on the Sixers but just that that that yeah but to him that that whole series he was just attacked and just never recovered uh bonovich got fall his ankle falling on it was just these were all kind of fluke injuries I mean I don't know OG hamstring you want you want to call blame that on on he's said dude he's got injury history he does and that's the concerning thing because he's he's free agan next year you got to bring him back but he's a perfect fit I mean healthy when healthy's literally perfect like a puzzle piece it's just fits right in the middle puzzle it's crazy so up 32 you got game six in Indie Knicks play connected basketball on Friday you got the rest you go you go in you'll see see what happens there worst case scenario Sunday's game set but I'm just I'm a happy man right here sitting here uh as we record Tuesday night this will be out Wednesday and you'll just we'll enjoy we'll enjoy next fans we we haven't been able to enjoy this that's the key like what whatever the haters are saying however you feel about the team right now the injuries suck but bottom line is enjoy it because this has not been a thing for there were a lot of tibs haters on H New York Sports Talk Radio about how he overworks his guys and stuff like sport New York Sports radi you you know what don't play for don't play for a coach who wants you to play hard unless you're going to play hard I mean that's Sports at the end of the day and you know you're able to overcome the losses to um you know m Robinson Julius Randall the big men because you got guys willing to crash the boards they're three Shooters but you got guys who are perimeter players and Josh Hart and tante dienzo and even Brunson and and even McBride just willing to crash the boards on the offensive end and then hardenstein playing his mind out he's playing himself into a nice contract so they're just you know I hate to reiterate what's been the common theme but they are playing connected basketball and it's fun to see because they know where somebody else is going to be and uh it's pretty cool because the Pacers go up and down the floor score within try to score within you know eight seconds 10 seconds whatever and they weren't able to do that tonight so you don't play defense um or you don't stop a team like that without playing connected defense so they did a pretty good job and yeah it's fun to watch I mean Brunson could use the rest now and two games to win it let's see Jay Brunson man that's the best and I've seen some good some great players with that I mean Carmelo obviously talked about him and what he did he was UN he was an unbelievable scorer uh the best Nick that I watched one of the best one-on-one players I've ever seen yeah but I mean you you have to honestly I think Brunson at this point in his second year with the Knicks is it's just he's been a better Nick than Melo ever was and I was a big young Melo I was always a big mellow supporter and Backer I've always been a supporter of the Stars I've always been that guy uh if you get a superstar on your team you appreciate him and you you don't [ __ ] on him um but before that I mean it was just it was lean years with Jamal Crawford as your best player for a long time before that it was before that it was starberry uh who I mean hey man respect the star bear he was unbelievable great career in China those teams were bad and before that I mean it was it was good teams he had spr well um Allen Houston Marcus cambi those teams were great before that with you and Starks LJ I remember those teams thankfully I'm old enough to remember those teams well uh 94 when I'm six years old I remember the Reggie Miller [ __ ] and that was that got me that got me into being an X fan and you know what's your take on TJ McConnell tonight I I love I I can't not like TJ McConnell I really can't like he does he's not dirty trying to play the villain he's not dirty though he plays hard you just he play like the way he plays you respect how he plays um he's like a mirror image of Hart and D put him put him as the as the backup to Brunson next year and let's go I mean spoken like a true New York fan yeah I would just buy that guy oh okay you buy he's not he's not expensive we'll just buy we have the Nicks and the Knicks payroll wise are in great shape because even chenzo is at a bargain brunson's at a bargain Hart's at a bargain all these guys are hartenstein you're gonna have to pay to this summer for sure and you know what pay him pay him do you think they do yeah yeah because I've heard a lot of Durant Booker a whole lot of stuff uh bringing somebody else in and You' need to let OG go and hardenstein go to probably bring in one of those guys I'd think no bring these guys back run it back with Randall healthy uh bring in bring in a guy like McConnell a cheap you know one two guys on a cheap deal run it back number two seed in the East you're a win away from East Conference Finals yep this is a NBA Playoffs team a great season yeah so I know that was I know that was a rant I know that was long but impressive that it was just that was beautiful well thanks for taking us down that path beautiful I'm just so happy and look Friday we got a we got a ideally we take it in Indie if not it's Sunday at the Garden and it's gonna be crazy so check back in with me next week and see how we're feeling but um it was it was beautiful so now you got um you know if you look at the of the NBA uh landscape the Celtics are going to close the series out because once again they didn't have Jimmy Butler against the Heat right in round one and now donalan Mitchell's out uh for the Cavs in this round after the Cavs had made it a little bit of a series Mitchell goes down and series over so they've had a little bit of uh path of least resistance um while they I do think they are the best team they're running into the best situation too um they're allowed to get you know a guy like porzingis healthy I don't know when he what his time for him is to come back or whatever but you got plenty of teams or plenty of guys on that team that are just making it work and like you said you're facing teams without their star so um yeah the Celtics will be a tough tough mountain to climb I'm more interested in this Timber Well's nugget series that's going on right now TI 22 going on right now as we speak those are some star studded teams that's a fun that's just fun fun basketball and for the Timberwolves to take two in Denver and everybody said that was it and then Denver goes into Minnesota and takes two yeah that's awesome so now you're back in Denver it's 22 we're watching game five as we speak uh it's tied in the second and it's going to be a fun one I think it I think it might go seven and Denver that'll be in Michael Porter rebound how much do you think jonte had on that J yeah no you got jok for third MVP got nothing else to do yeah right um but yeah no I I was uh I was impressed to to put in get it put into perspective last week with the whole sha and Sterling Shepard beef Shaq only had one MVP jokic is on three and he's still going that's pretty impressive like yeah I mean dominant dominant big man five tools too I don't know if that pertains to basketball five tools is a baseball phrase but it works we can name the five basketball TOS if we took enough time over the head behind the back passes yeah yeah that's one of the tools but yeah jokic is just [ __ ] unbelievable and uh so is Anthony Edwards so you know he goar's Defensive Player of the Year for what 25 straight seasons W goar cat and um Jaylen Williams is that it he's he's the other guy I think no no no Jaylen Williams on the Thunder um you've got a Nelle Alexander Walker you've got Connelly is conell there somebody else that missing our right now honestly one of the best uh one of the best basketball series outside of that Knicks Sixers series I've seen going on right now Jaden McDaniels Jaden McDaniel Jaden Jaden popular baby name in 2012 yeah um first round pick out of Washington 23 years old just reading down the wiki right now I mean but but he's he's St I mean he's scoring he's scoring uh he's playing very well they have a good team they have a very good team but we know the nuggets have a great team too they're the defending champs and they're they're healthy and they're basically the same roster so it's I like seeing what Aaron Gordon's doing you know we know about jokic and Jamal Murray but Aaron Gordon was like a college Superstar and I love seeing what he's doing now because he's getting the opportunity to not be like the guy or even the second guy or even the third guy he just contributes what he needs to and he's freaking high flying it's fun got got him out of Orlando and and he became just a stud so this is a fun series I really think it's going seven uh and should be fun to watch but the NBA would love that too yes yes they would yes they would so you got that uh you got nixer up 3-2 and then Thunder Mavs that's another one uh tied Kyrie and Luca 22 that might come down at seven games too I mean it's it's gonna be it's gonna be fun to watch game six when is game five game five is is is Wednesday Wednesday night you know in OKC it's tied 22 so you see what happens there and then you go into the weekend but I think that one could go 72 really do uh Lucas Luca is getting some hate that I just don't understand like he had a bad little stretch there he was missing some free throws whatever comes back with like a serious double double like honestly a great game here um I you know you can't miss free throws when you don't look like you're in shape um people give you they'll give you a bad rap they'll be like hey one more rep there buddy you know you should be working harder that type of thing so but he he came back this game or uh the past game and he was decent dude Shay Gill gilis Alexander though is incredible I've always said like I I love guys who have a hyphenated name because they have a strong mom you know they're raised by a strong woman type of thing but he is just incredible because I remember when he broke into the Lee he was like 19 years old and he was you know little skinny guy whatever hit some shots but now he's just a dominant Force um and th her looked damn good uh with him and Chad and golly who's the Swingman there not Jaylen that's who that's who I there we go Jaylen Williams yeah jayen Williams yes exactly he's great yeah so they look they look damn good but I really I really want to see the Kyrie and Luca Duo continue to ride it's been fun they've been they've been picking each other up you know that was able to L bet a couple of things where it was a third quarter assists uh for Luca and he just passed to Kyrie twice a couple games ago and he had two threes it was awesome so um and for uh our boy py friend of the Pod too uh would love to see his Mavs win um you know OKC is gonna be together for a few years um I'd like to see what this Mavericks combination agreed that OKC will have their turn they're only going to get better you got that core kind of locked up for a bit I hope the m out because I want to see what what this team can do because they're PJ Washington has been lunch player that's a I mean more even better better than a lunch P player I mean guys guy legit so paage so we'll see uh like obviously I think postive route for the Mavs uh Mavs wolves Mavs nuggets either even Thunder nug like the the Western Conference either way that that final is going to be great and then people want to [ __ ] on the next say the Celtics Will Roll in these Conference Finals no matter who they play I don't think so um I don't think so either because they both play different varieties of basketball and you know um it's it's just different and it comes down to I think with the Knicks how hard they try and how hard they play and how many shots they put up and how many offensive rebounds they get which is just hustle basketball and with the Celtics you've got more of the Superstar game going on so yeah um it's if they're hitting their threes they they could be beat but not hitting their threes uh you can you you can beat them and the Knicks can play defensively well but look going to get ah gota win one more against against Indy the game will always be at the Garden in that Series yeah yeah yeah there's there Superior Garden or the inferior Garden wow it'll be it'll be at a garden wow but man I'm loving I'm loving these playoffs and and you get into it like when your team's in it too like it's just fun to watch the other games too so it's unless they they lose a big game then I want nothing to do with sports or life in general just shut down yeah I don't even remember the last two Knicks games I really don't no no we I'm not even full-fledged either I'm Still Still pan yeah I'm still a Cub Scout didn't happen so NH NBA playoffs NHL Playoffs going crazy NHL playoffs also crazy uh a couple big story lines from there we won't go deep dive into every series we you know we're not not a hockey pod but we are big you know hockey fans and Isles devs whatever um Rangers were up three 0 and now this good Carolina team has made it a series and now it's game six in Carolina on Thursday um Carolina's tough to beat uh this there's a good chance you get a game seven Saturday at the Garden but we will see there um I think one of the big stories uh in the NHL right now uh is is the Avalanche uh [ __ ] what's his name I guess Theo skin uh but he got popped uh for third violation of I guess the policy they haven't gone into um exactly what happened but Valerie NuSkin who is one of the A's best players was suspended six months uh for violation a third is his thirdd violation of this I guess wellness policy seems to be a drug issue um but he's in stage three of this player assistance program so essentially he's done for quite some time uh and this is in the middle of a playoff series in they are now they are now down 3-1 so the Stars Are Stars looking good in this series but that's a wild wild story yeah for sure to imagine you know you're rooting for your team you're feeling good and then one of your best players is like oh he's been suspended and this is his third violation and he's gone so kind of comes out of nowhere um maybe not out of nowhere because people knew about the other ones but it's just it was shock and now this team is probably dead um you never know what could happen but kind of crazy uh that's the really the big storyline but you got a surprising uh surprising surprising surprising playoff surprising Canucks team uh that really nobody had them being this dominant this year and they end up being a a one seed it's kind of crazy uh but they're playing the Oilers uh they're up to one it's it's weird the Canucks were not a good team last year and then just do you see them winning this though because I don't no I I I think the oil I just every year you look at the Oilers you look they have MC they have McDavid dry Sidle they have all the talent uh they should win so it's to me it's looking like in the West it's going to be uh the stars and the Oilers and then in the East Panthers are up 32 now Bruins uh Tuesday night won to kind of stay alive but it's 3-2 uh Panthers just need to win one of the next two Rangers hurricanes same thing for the Rangers win one of the next two what do you think the sun's up as because I would say Rangers Panthers I think Rangers Panthers um I'm hoping not Rangers Bruins you get like Nick you get Nick Celtics Rangers Bruins oh my gosh there would be a Civil War and I and like honestly like look I said this I hate the Rangers I can't root for them but if it comes down to it I'm gonna have to root for the Rangers against Boston in the spot because if the Bruins and Celtics eliminate the Knicks and Rangers in the same week I I'm going to have issues like because just I despise the city of Boston with the depths of my Soul you ever been yes beautiful beautiful city uh a lot of fun I hate everybody that lives there uh roots for roots for RO you should tell them that you hate them oh I have some you cousins on Jamie side uh well don't get one of one of them is a smart man he's a Yankee fan uh the other one is is just living tried and true Boston he's a problem uh Scott who he's just a squat it's squatty he's he's the biggest a guy in the world and I just I need to just talk [ __ ] them because I can't can't have it can't have any of those teams winning so Nick Celtics obviously will be The Crusher from me and you could say the nextra Playing House money because nobody expected him to be there but when you get there you're in the East Conference Finals and you're playing against Boston you get it's it's go time playoff are we on basketball or hockey and well we're talking about the the it could be Rangers Bruins and nicks Celtics so I know I know I I think it will be Rangers NFL Schedule Panthers uh I'm hoping that's the case I can't I don't want to deal with the double Boston thing so I'm hoping the Panthers can get it done uh and then we'll see um I obviously don't want the Rangers to win the cup but I like the Vibes that have been going on at the Garden Nick Rangers it's it's been nice what's your I I honestly haven't watched enough to to Really predict but I do I do think that Rangers team is really good and they can make the Cup Final and then uh I'd like to see Rangers Oilers I think that would be fun but start but the stars are very good and they're just underrated they have have a lot of good talent either we're going to see stars and either Rangers or Panthers yeah makes sense so let's talking hockey but it's it's a beautiful time to be a sports fan it really is I mean this time of year with these playoffs going on and you're getting NFL news and and baseball seasons in full swing and it's it's just a lot of fun but speaking of so we touched on you know obviously in depth about NBA playoffs talked a little hockey we had some NFL news Dro uh early this week so the full schedule release is Wednesday night you know I get it you don't want to talk about a big NFL schedule blah blah but they did they're dropping some you know they're sprinkling some games out they're saying this is happening this is happening so you had you got Ravens Chiefs is the opener Thursday Night Football September 5th that's awesome uh I'll be pumped when August hits yes no yeah you know I'm I'm not I can't like they they jet social media pump me to Aaron Rogers throwing pass no no wake me when the season starts I just I can't I can't up I know no no yeah there's too much going on but I will say Jets ners September 9th Monday Night Football week one so the Jets get the Monday Night Football opener going again and uh it's kind of a PTSD uh scenario where I'm just I I posted I posted a short on the YouTube cat just staring and just wore images in the background and darkness my old friend playing and just that's that's to me is Think Like I Monday Night Football week one I'm just waiting for Aaron Rogers Killy to just bur hello darkness my old friend ex exactly or the dog with everything on fire it's fine everything's fine it's just it's in a complete compilation yeah I mean I mean you have a an offensive line that they've put back together to try to um you know protect Aaron R and you've got that pass rush coming at you that's uh yeah that's tough that's a tough pass rush yeah but a tough I think the I mean who knows but the they they focus on the offensive line they need to do that so you got that uh you had Bills Dolphins Thursday Night Football week two and Bengals Chiefs and Arrowhead uh September 15 so those are kind of the games that they just dropped to getbody excited but man it's going to be uh it's gonna be tough to watch all these NFL games I mean they're everywhere now it's every every streaming service is is going to have a game and my dad is gonna multiple countries uh what four days out of the week three days out of the week yeah they're in Brazil they're going everywhere but the NFL knows they could do whatever they want because we're GNA watch yeah that's the problem I watched a great interview with h Goodell on McAfee uh at the draft or whatever and I got a lot of respect for Goodell because he's always pushing he's always trying to make make the brand better he's always trying to make it worldwide he's always trying to just expand the audience um and of course it generates money and he's really really freaking into one and he sees it he's like he's swings like he's freaking Tiger Woods so fun to watch Aly Rutman he's got the pitching staff humming Cole Irvin had a ridiculous scoreless streak and um you know bradish comes back means comes back all have good games so I credit a little bit of that to adley Rutman and also James mccan who's been a fantastic backup and also a really good glue guy for the O's but adley's adley's going to explode and I just want to resign this guy I want to sign him long term but he's uh your best friend Scott boris's client uh which is unlike him but yeah he's uh him and gun are both I believe are so we're gonna have a tough time resigning him Rubenstein please bring the money baby but yeah adley's on fire um I hope he does the Home Run Derby again I don't think he will but um switch hitting catcher finally break it through the catching position's been kind of rough to look at in baseball um there's not too many that are Elite or even really doing well or who are really that good outside of uh splits and time shares so uh pretty pumped about adley and I just I just want to see him in an orial uniform forever I think he will I think you catch for a decade uh he's one hell of a talent one hell of a talent and I mean look it's tough you you guys have been you guys are loaded with prospects um but it's t you're not going to hit on every single one of them so you gota kind of kind of pick and see you know grey Rod looking pretty good retman looks I mean retman I think you know at this point is legit same with gunar Henderson um but you know you saw some of Colton cowser has been hot and cold uh Jackson Holliday had his his his stint and didn't go well they should have just kept him up there gonna play it out Cur D Cur D they gave him like three at as 15 if in an argument depending on hot streaks but to in the NFL if you find a quarterback who plays every game and puts you in a position to win every single game you keep that you keep that man there and you just hold let's not get into Cam we could say that for the imple SC I think Campbell's a great coach but I know you're qualms with him and I get it and people have that but Jared gof I mean I would kill for him on the Jets right now well 53 million a year is that right huge I think 1802 is guaranteed like he's got a lot of it a lot of that 212 is guaranteed so great you saw the outpouring of Love at the NFL draft like they're literally chanting not Detroit Lions they're chanting Jared which is because he's a he's the quarterback who has led them where they haven't been in years I'm seeing that right yeah I'm not gonna relate it to my mix again just no no dude it's totally no that's actually a great analogy see they got like this is why Jaylen Brunson is being received as he is in New York you if you bring a franchise that has struggled for so long out of the depths and into respectability like jarro Go's doing right now you will get love for the rest of your life obviously you want to win that big one one once and it's right there for him I really think it's right there for them um but this was the move that needs to be made um and I'm very happy were you surprised well a lot of people were like wow that's a lot of money that's a lot of money no it's not for an NFL quarterback it's really not for four-year deal like you pay that man and that's four thoughts on Aaron Rogers are suspended until the season starts I just I just I just want to watch Aaron Rogers play football for the Jets I didn't get to watch that last year so for sure it fun to didn't watch the game but what I saw uh I saw I watched the highlights and I saw Twitter all the all the talk a lot of complaints about the fouls which it's the WNBA I don't know where you're G to go there but people got to remember Caitlyn Clark got drafted number one overall by the worst team in the league last year right she's on the Indiana Fever they even with Caitlyn Clark they were uh heavy underdogs in this in their debut and they didn't cover the spread and kayln Clark is great she's a legendary Talent who will go down probably as one of if not the best ever in the WNBA but game one 10 turnovers trying to do too much she does not have her team she doesn't she's not in Iowa she's not in Iowa she doesn't have her team it's it's a different different animal but it's not really a bad I mean it's it's it's a huge win for the WNBA there's more eyes than ever like they sold that game out it's it's awesome but you have likeed to see Clark hit 40 yes and she hit like she hit like one three she she didn't she didn't really play great so WNBA it's it's it's kind of a r it was a rough intro so that's why it's the B it's my bad from what I saw a couple of passes couple of shots looked like the ball was over inflated she was nervous overshooting whatever um but yeah this was all eyes all eyes on this game and probably not what you were looking for as WNBA she did have Team High 20 but you know she's pairing up with um Aaliyah Boston who I even know her name you know she was a rookie of the year or first round pick last year she's a solid player or whatever but it just goes to show you WNBA is a five you know it's fundamentally you need five you need five people you can't just run a pick and roll with two people and uh you know the best thing that happened to the WNBA is Caitlyn Clark and the fact that she's on the fever and she's still in the same geographical area and whatnot and still you know u a huge marketing you know Boon for uh for the WNBA so I think she'll be great but all eyes are on this game it was on ESPN 2 disappoint kind of wanted a little bit more from it so I get it yeah disappointing that's my bet what's your bet uh your boy Bo bashet Bo getting hot again he's getting hot B bashed getting hot again but he's got a 218 batting average and a 581 Ops 554 the last 30 days so dude's been kind of rough to watch um and probably a big part of the reason why the Blue Jays have been struggling I'm giving him a bad I'm not giving him a shitty because I think we'll come out of it but um at the same time uh he was dropped in my Yahoo League which cracks I picked him up small benches small rosters whatever but uh um it was uh it was shocking but yeah not what you expect from a guy uh bo bashet who is a generational Talent he'll be back uh don't know if they're trying to appeal to their players or the locker room or they're really really trying to like put a spotlight on the refs and blame somebody but the blame game I mean you got to look within and any any good head coach that I've ever heard has said it's not the refs that win and lose a game it's you who win and loses a game but clearly we've seen in the NBA Plus playoffs that if you [ __ ] enough you get the next game right so I really don't like that culture that that's creating it's a little bit more of uh you know I don't want to say playground mentality where people start calling their own fouls or whatever but at the same time the refs call the game and I think they did a good job tonight uh at calling every tick after it got out of hand after it was a little scuffle they called everything they called everything and they said you're not going to you're not going to take over this game we're not going to be you know uh you know Escape CED on this game or whatever and they did a good job of calling everything they're clearly capable of it but at the same time we want to see playoff basketball so if you're going to sit there and [ __ ] about it you're G to sit there and [ __ ] about it uh you probably don't deserve to win the game and you probably don't have the mentality to be in the playoffs you know I watch a lot of NCAA tournament games and when it gets down to it dudes are hacking each other and they're playing ball right and the refs don't determine the game the NBA has flipped on that mentality and they're scapegoating the refs and allowing the refs to be what dictates the game and even what dictates the next game and it falls on the head coaches because they're the ones from the top down sending the messaging that this is okay and your boy Nick nurse I can't stand him either um especially some of the joking kind of comments I didn't see that foul or whatever about his own team that's shitty and Rick Carlile you're better than that as well you don't direct your uh video crew to stay up all night to send out video just so you can win the next game and honestly a little falls in the NBA too why are you taking that the refs yeah don't need to be in that situation they don't need to be put in the spotlight they're doing the best that they can especially games like the playoffs and we I want to see physical games I don't want to see foul shots after foul shots so NBA coaches you gotta you gotta own it and be I respect the head coach more when he says look the ref Stone determined the game we lost the game I know it's the stock answer but it's better than what's going on that's and that's what tip says and that's yeah and yeah not the har not the harp on it but I I 100% 100% agree and I feel like there's like this this generation now that grew up without they didn't they didn't grow up in the pre-lay era like they they're they're used to hey you got to get the call right hey you got to get call right and I
