it's like your never ending project kind of like me kind of like me mixing fuel got to have new rubber yeah so he basically what he was doing right there was wiping her down with acetone just kind of get all the stuff off of them from being new oh yeah now check the roll out I'm running into Shan Cit getting this thing ready to warm up let's go it's going to be a good day I'm excited ready to go PA some traction problems will be out the window today that's the plan [Music] there we go time that she's taken that car to the finish line and pulled the parachute she's done it in Tony shaka's car a bunch and we'll see that car coming up here white with red light was the light come on when I hit the clle it went out and then it came back on again freaking Dash warning light come on when I hit the throttle and then it went out then come back on so ah I don't know all right y'all probably heard me say something about a dash warning light and actually you should have been able to see on the helmet camp and me and joh was just sitting there talking about it it's like yeah those are good but they also can be bad because Jesse was saying on the radio he did not see a whole lot that early in the run the butto meter doesn't necessarily pick up a hole out cuz all all it feels like to the buttom meters is just slow leaving anyway is what it is I shut it off the dash warning light come on when I hit the throttle it went off then it come back on again is what it is we will uh address the uh the warning lights they are very handy and they can save you a lot of money but apparently that might have been the case where it was a malfunction freaking race cars [Music] [Applause] I [Music] [Music] [Music] Dash warning light so here's the story of what happened on the last run hopefully in the helmet cam you can see a red light come on a red light means there is a cylinder notot fire ing it came on it went off came on again and I followed what you're supposed to do and that shut it off well as it turns out it was a bad EGT exhaust gas temperature sensor EGT and for this run we have unhooked that dash light so now what we got going for a dash light is a yellow light yellow is oil pressure obviously if I see that one I'm shutting it off so there's the the quick rundown I don't want to call that a thrown away run but glad it did it today and not tomorrow race day we're warmed up ready let's gostu going to set it off all right here we go oh [Music] [Music] hey it made it why it run I got all of it cuz it's been a while since I rode it all the way to the finish line so I got it all yay it made it Mark up this time the belt didn't about make it what up dude yeah let's check out the old report card card number 51 852 25 304 287 378 330 mph uh Tony shoe marker beside us over 790 324 got it it went down the racetrack uh relatively smooth uneventful we'll take it 780 330 and 8526 foed still got to work on that a little bit but man after you know you've been watching The Struggle Bus she's out of here we're ready for race day now which is tomorrow let's go I don't know if y'all can really see that but we made that run just in time that is water on the window you can see and there's still people out here watching this raining that would be the zoo legendary zoo Rand of Minnesota it's uh it is there for a good time there's people that go there probably never see a car going down a racetrack they're here having fun well it's pretty obvious the rain went away that was happening right after we made our run upside to that was we got our run in the downside of that is is there were four pair eight cars left to run and it took a pretty good little while to get the track dried out and what happened with that is it cooled off quite a bit track got cooled off and some cars behind us laid down some rippers what does all that mean well it's pretty simple we qualified number 12 we're racing number three Britney Force I like our first round matchup I really do you know I mean Britney went out there in the last session went 369 yep we went 378 looking back on it you know with our uh dashboard warning stuff we think that run would have made it and it probably would have gave us an opportunity to pick the thing up for Q4 but should have could have would have I followed the dash light stepped off the throttle and all the Monday morning quarterbacks are in this case y'all will probably be watching this on Sunday all you Sunday morning quarterbacks is well you should have done that on the first qualifying run that's what makes you uh are you us I hate to call it you CU it may not be you but Monday morning quarterback's always so much easier you know we could have back the thing down the way we did the way we end up having to to make it go 378 at 330 you know if we had done that on the first run then it would have been able to step it up but the weather conditions showed that we could go quicker than that and obviously we were wrong but that's what makes the Monday morning armchair keyboard Warrior quarterback the best in the business because they always know after they watch what happened anyway I'm having fun and I appreciate you guys
