this week India's leader of opposition Rahul Gandhi made a visit to the United States several of his remarks stirred a controversy here in India on China Rahul said that as per him the Indian government did not handle the China issue well well if you call if you call uh having Chinese troops in 4,000 square kilm of our territory handling something well then maybe uh we've got Chinese troops occupying and the size of Delhi in ladak uh I think that's a disaster media doesn't like to write about it uh how would uh America reative you know a neighbor occupied 4,000 square kilm of your territory would would any president be able to get away with saying that he's handled that well so I don't think I don't think Mr modi's handled China well at all I think think uh there's no reason Chinese troops should be sitting in our territory now Beyond his comments the Congress Leader's meeting with congresswoman Ilan Omar evoked outrage in the past remember Ilan Omar has introduced anti-india resolutions in the US Congress and has visited Pakistan occupied Kashmir on a park sponsor trip this Drew condemnation from the government of India as well and stoked the controversy here when Rahul Gandhi met with her on his trip in the United States
