okay so let's check this one out right ex Liverpool manager Jurgen klopp is actually Christian he is actually Christian which is so amazing I think that is so cool because I think there's a lot of people in high-profile positions and there's a lot that claim to be uh chrisan but they don't really represent those values or they're not even publicly proud about it and that's what makes jgen klopp a bit different about everybody else that is in a high-profile public kind of space and so he makes that quite known that he is Christian and he's he's proud about it and not just that we see that through the development of liol football over the past couple of years there's been values that's been installed in those in in the team uh for a matter of fact and with respect to other religions as well ygen navigated through that because you know that in a team you get different people different people different cultures different tribes different religions and yet he still uh brought in Christianity's values uh he brought in those kind of principles and today this team is strong um and there's a couple of good Christian guys that came out of that team in his reign as manager that is amazing one of the things that stand out for me is that he publicly shares it as well as evangelizes it he calls himself someone that is probably not like a a minister if I can put it that way but the way that he shares it is so bold and the way that he sneaks it in into various conversations is something to be admired and so I thought I came across this video I thought wait let me share this it is our random Mondays everything random today and so even after that really good win yesterday uh for Liverpool you never walk around you absolutely don't until until we Ron yesterday I'm not going to see a lot about that because people's going to be angry especially the the um and Liverpool is r as well but um yeah great great game yesterday and I just thought wait let me let me uh share this because I came across it and um jgen klopp being uh filled with faith and not just Faith but he stands on Christ and Jesus he's unashamed about it and that's how we should be as well like right so it's it's something that we can take and we can find that that hope and encouragement to say man I can walk uh that way as well and so yes I just want to share with you what he says it's it's a video that we're just going to react to uh about two videos will be quick um and then we'll see uh what we can take away from those videos cuz I think there's a few stand out things that we can actually take away from that and consider that going into the rest of our week and yeah um let's check this out okay when we talk about Christianity inter isn't it amazing like he knows the gospel he he he actually shares a bit about that um Jesus coming to the the way that he speaks about Jesus so casual though you know this guy comes and he's got a mission he's got a clear Mission man that is amazing that is so cool and I mean many times we try to over spiritualize things right we try to overp spiritualize our Journeys with Christ we try and use like lingo that is Christian e if we can put it that way and we sound all so spiritual and oh my goodness and then people just want to know Jesus people just want to know tell me in layman terms tell me in normal terms um yeah by the way Layman is just like the normal person outside if you thought what that means so tell me in normal terms what what is this thing about Jesus what what is it that you guys are on about and that's exactly what he's doing here and I like the fact that he says is that maybe the mission wasn't clear 100% in the beginning but not to everyone and that that's even what's happening today is that not a lot of people know about Jesus and so therefore we need to be bold to share that Jesus to to everyone else to share Jesus the message of Jesus the true love the sacrifice of Jesus the resurrection of Jesus so that people can come to him and they may be able to say you know I've been caught up in hurt and I've been caught up in things but but I'm going to turn away from that and I'm coming to Jesus now and I'm going to be a follower of Jesus right so yeah I just wanted to share that like the way that he just broke it down but it was you know it's it's in we would expect them as be so many big words and you know um nothing against those words I'm just meaning you know where you at you can talk to someone in in the space of where you at as well the way that you communicate communicate as long as you communicating Jesus right [Music] [Music] sure that was that was so refreshing to you um and the fact that he explained that was like what a minute um and and he just explained Jesus came yeah there was a clear Mission Jesus came and he died for us we didn't need to do that he died for our sins that is so important he goes out and he says um Jesus came and died for our sins and Jesus came and he died for us to be reconciled with God you know and I mean I I really find that so refreshing and there was a conversation they had and the question was based on years back you hear the interview ask do you remember what you said in this in in this uh interview about this magazine and Yen answers him and he says it's an easy one and it made me think how many times do we have that boldness that if someone were to ask us maybe while you're sitting in the taxi maybe while you chilling out wherever you are in in the world and someone would to ask you hey aren aren't you follow of Jesus what what would your response be would it kind of be watered down because immediately he shares the gospel bro he shares is the good news of Jesus Christ man that is amazing he wasn't just like you know I just believe in God and and you know that's it cool cool he went and he explained and he explains about Jesus he talks about Jesus he explain about Jesus did dying for our sins um Jesus that was the one that did it for us we don't need to do that so it's by Christ that we are saved you know so there's that Christian is there's that Christian is but do you guys understand how how he comes out and he and he shares it and then it is amazing for me that like I started off by saying he in this huge public um space where people know him he's in the public eye he's well known he managing one of the biggest football clubs in England and he comes out and he's so firm and strong about his faith he's so strong and firm about what he believes in and who he believes in and that is so amazing there's another article I want to pull this article up um let me see Premier Christian news yeah Premier Christian news right they quote him on this they had an interview with him um and then they quote him you can go and check it out premere Christian news you can check that out right and so Jurgen klopp says the problem is I'm a Christian he said that in itself is not a problem right but the problem is I think other people can have success too it's not about me right we actually going to go into that in a bit right and there's just a few things I want to share with regards to that but then he goes further and then he says but if you ask me about Liverpool I would like to celebrate something each season klopp has previously spoken about his faith in an interview with RF Online de he said to be a believer but not to want to talk about it I do not know how it would work if anyone ask me about my faith I give information bro that is mindblowing and especially in our culture today um a lot of people have got this Chris culture thing where I'm I'm only Christian because my parents were or we grew up that way but no one is really at a place where they really sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ so people are just like or they're not even living that way and it's so amazing that he says like in an interview with um RF Online de he says to be a believer but not want to talk about it I do not know how it would work how would that even work if anyone ask me about my faith I give information and isn't that what Jesus even requires of us that we should go out and proclaim the Gospel Matthew 28 right we should go out and proclaim the gospel um going and baptizing people in the name of the Father the Son and the Holy Spirit and then going and making disciples of people we we that is a mandate um that God gives at least Jesus shares with us right and so I think that is so so so good because we neglect that we look past that and it's more like you know I I know God God I serve God but but do you really know God uh are you at a place where you you willing to share Jesus and many people say you know my faith is a private thing um and to an extent I agree with you the question is just raised are you so passionate that you unashamed about sharing about Jesus you right and I think that is that is one of the important things are you are you at a place yet uh where you can share and like I said it doesn't need to be a complicated thing I think we make it complicated uh with Christian and all of that but we can be really simple and just share um what what or where we should be at what place we at in life we can share with someone um so yeah he goes further and then he just says not because I ever claimed to be any sort of missionary but when I look at me and my life I take time for that every day then I feel I am in sensationally good hands ah Yen likes to use those words uh we were just talking about not having Christian e but then he comes out with his flamboyant uh but yeah jgen Club claiming and not claiming sorry ygen klopp saying that he is a Christian and that is amazing that is good to know and so the question is being posed like he says um in a nutshell just because he's a Christian it's not that he doesn't want to see other people succeed as well that possibly could be in different religions um and yet it's still he still comes and he says but when when he does get into uh an opportunity to share about his faith he does so and so that gives me the notion that yes I want you to succeed but I'm also going to share the the gospel with you I'm also going to share Faith with you and so many times that's where we kind of lose the plot um as Christians we've become so focused on the achievement of what we want to accomplish that Jesus and God and holy spirit has only become a passenger in the in the car while we on our way there and we've become so centered around our own ambition purpose plans goals and that we've forgotten about what God's plans purpose and Ambitions goals are for us and so yeah I think it's it's one of those things that we really need to consider and look at in our own lives uh there's there's another piece I just want to play for you guys if I can find it but I think this is also a really cool video that was put together um Jurgen klopp is the manager of the Premier League club team Liverpool and has been in this position since 2015 even though Liverpool plays in the toughest league in the world the Premier League and the pressure on klopp shoulders is enormous he has still been called one of the most successful football managers of recent decades yet despite all the expectations he remains calm because he serves a higher Purpose with his life on Earth yeah he recognizes Jesus Christ as his Lord and savior in this episode we will look at Jurgen klopp's testimony amidst a world full of billions Fame and honor sure after a successful period at barasia Dortmund klopp became manager at FC Liverpool one of the most famous clubs in contemporary football in 2015 the pressure was high as Liverpool has been waiting for the national title for more than two decades several coaches have succumbed to the pressure of performing in the past but remains remarkably calm under it this is understood through the following quote but success in football is not the most important thing in his life the manager born in stutgart said in an interview with the BBC the problem is I'm a Christian that in itself is not a problem okay so cool I just mentioned that right and like I said to you guys that he that was this what we read what he's saying now is what we read in a in an article okay okay and what is cool is that his success in life is not just dependent on football and that was the point I was trying to make okay so I'm going to drop this in here and then we're going to watch the video finish and then the video is going to end um I think many times what we look at is we we need to look at God first we need to look at Talent second opportunity last okay so what what we do is we love for God and through loving for God we get to utilize our talents we get to live in the gifts we get to live in what God has given us to glorify God but remember we first live for God our lives are for God our lives pointing the direction of God our lives are a Living Sacrifice Romans 12:1 where it speaks that so then we utilize the talents the gifts and then thirdly because we utilize those talents and Gifts opportunities open what we've shifted was that I'm focusing on the talent I'm focusing on the gift so I'm focusing on things that I'm good at so that opportunities can open and when I can have opportunities I'll be able to financially sustain my family I can get the car always wanted I can do all of those nice things and then lastly I include God that is that is basically what's making its rounds in church we are Talent driven we are goal driven we we we get taught about the talent and the gift the opportunity that comes with it more than what we get taught to love for God the reason why I say so what happens when the talent or the gift can't operate anymore because your purpose has been linked to this Talent of gift and so opportunities dry up that means your relationship with God starts to suffer does that make sense when in actual fact it should be that my relationship with God is still going to be intact so even if the talent can't operate and opportunities dry up that my fulfillment and purpose will still be in God because he will open doors for new talents to come forth and new opportunities to be brought into existence and into reality does that make sense so I think that's important to keep to to note you ask me what is an example of that let's say you've got a keyboardist he's only been focused on talent and with Talent he's been getting opportunities with opportunities then he goes and he's like oh thank God whatever but his life doesn't reflect that he's living for God something happens to his hands so he's not able to be playing keyboard anymore or piano so opportunities start drying up that means now we start blaming God and we're like God you took this thing away from me this is the only thing I was good at this is the only thing that I was great at and you took it away from me and now relationship suffers because relationship was built on the experience of the talent and the execution and result of the opportunity and so I gave gratification to God when in actual fact my life should be based on gratification to God sacrifice and living for God so that when I do get to love through the talent and the opportunities do open even when the talent and opportunities are not operational anymore my purpose is still found in God because I wasn't using those things as a purpose to worship God they were only by which a method is used to worship him right does that make sense that was a mouthful but I hope that made sense because I started realizing that we live in today's culture in Christianity that's what's being taught it's okay to just have God in the car it's not okay for God to be driving it you need to take hold of your destiny you and to some degree there's a truth to that to some degree there is I think that even with Jurgen CL being Christian being in the secular world of football and everything else and still attaining success 100% but like he says on football is not completely dependent on his whole life so if he doesn't succeed now life sucks and all of those things yeah it would be horrible but because he's got Jesus because he's got God he's able to live a more fulfilled life and to see things the way that that God wants him to see right so um that is it for today I hope that you guys can go and as you are setting yourself up for this week right what are your prioritizing right now like I said like I mentioned you can go and listen to that back again where I speak about those three little points and you can you can expound that more I think we should have a conversation where we actually expound that right but here's a thought that I just want you to look at as you go into this week as you're thinking about certain things and it's just like going into this week where do you find yourself right uh do you find yourself where the the talent or the gift is is is based on on your your opportunities and that then results in your relationship with God uh do you find yourself being in a situation where maybe maybe you were creative and you've been doing all these creative things but maybe You' you've slacked a little bit in your relationship with God you know you've been looking for opportunities doing the grind but God wasn't involved in that grind you know and I want to encourage you today invol involve God in that grind involve God in what you are doing involve God put him first and I think that you hear it a lot of times you hear it many times but it's really amazing when you put God first in something and God gives you the wisdom of how to handle with various opportunities so that your talent can be effective and that you can produce a result that is going to be fulfilling uh because God is the one driving it I think that is that is a lot better that even if perhaps the thing doesn't work out that you know that God was at the Forefront of it and God gives you peace and you'll be able to to walk through it in a way that is is pleasing to God so I want you to just think about it as you go through this week as you go through this this new month it's a new season think about it and and maybe you find yourself being a a pastor for example you you haven't got a church or whatever uh what is what is there that God is given you um to explore yourself to open yourself to other opportunities because you are now walking and and putting God first in in this thing you know so the the point I'm trying to make is that many times we we look at the elements of the gift and that makes us when really it's The Giver of the gift and that is who makes us um and that's where we find fulfillment and that's where we find truth and that's where we find our success uh and so we shouldn't be so much dependent on the outcome of what our gifts can produce but that we should be focused on the effectiveness of how my gift can bring glorification to God um and and my life being fully dependent on God right do you see those two differences and I hope that it makes sense so guys have a good Monday I hope you you go through it just with a little bit more thought and that um I'll see you guys soon all right thank you
