the girlfriend of Britney Drexel's convicted killer Angel Voss pleading guilty to all three counts of lying to federal agents about where she was the night Raymond Moody abducted raped and murdered the chy teen in April 2009 Drexel's mother one step closer to Justice I don't think you ever get closer with with losing a child um I think it's a resolution of what happened and um she will pay dearly for what she did to my in May 2022 Raymond Moody told police he and Voss picked up 17-year-old Drexel while she was walking down a Myrtle Beach Street he told police they drove south of Georgetown to smoke marijuana and led authorities to her remains investigator sa Voss first told police she was traveling home to get keys while Moody assaulted and killed Drexel but the FBI disputed the claim Voss also said Drexel voluntarily joined them to use marijuana and cocaine when Drexel was actually abducted under false pretenses the US attorney on the case is glad to see Voss acknowledge what really took place obviously these were important things for for us to have known 15 years ago 10 years ago or whatever and she um lied to the FBI as recently is May of 2022 Voss was set to plead guilty to two counts of lying to Federal investigators last month but changed her mind at the last minute holiday says the original plea deal offered was revoked when it fell through before uh we felt like the same deal couldn't be offered any longer Timothy Deshawn Taylor the man wrongfully pursued as a suspect in the drexal case was also outside Court he sued the Department of Justice over investigative missteps and false narratives Advanced by the FBI the Taylor family demanding an apology from authorities hopefully it it comes together pretty fast so we all can have closure to it my son was falsely accused with no evidence we suffered a lot please apologize
