FSU football | Michael Alford updates Doak Campbell Stadium construction project

congratulations you know is this uh how special is this to bring some of the donors who supported the project and signed on to the project bring them out here for this well you look for times where you can thank them for their belief and our vision and and you the beam signing we did this at Cowboy stadium we did at Oklahoma when we did that facility and them to have an opportunity to come and sign that beam and be a piece of History forever in in historic do Campbell Stadium really means a lot and they really get a lot out of it and just the the fellowship and social ship watching this event take place is really something special a lot of faces were lit up just seeing the beam go up just even like putting their names on there officially how special is it to see the happiness that it brings them and for them to actually be a part of this well you know a lot of a lot of our fan base has been invested in do for many many years and to see their excitement uh towards the renovation and the future of what dope Campbell stadium is going to be means a lot because they are invested their time their sweat and then the future and passing it down to the Next Generation and to see how excited they are about this vision and what's going on with do kbell Stadium it it means a lot to all of us uh but it means a lot to them too because they're really enjoying seeing the future you have Cru working 24/7 sounds like much on various aspects of the project just how important is that to stay on time onine it and be ready for for the opener I I talked to Ben zeren who's our director of capital projects daily and the construction team and get updates and they're on time and making sure that we're doing everything possible um that I can do to make sure that the stadium is going to be ready in July right now they're doing a remarkable job of being on time actually being buying a couple of of weeks just in case we have weather um so everything's projects on time is going to be ready in July of 25 can't wait to open it up and just let people come and walk and see the renovation and the new amenities then we were talking you know that's what 14 months away uh to The Stadium opening so it's going to be here before you know it and there there will be people Seated on that sideline even though it's just temporary right yes sir uh we have temporary seats uh on the lower half while they're working behind it and once the stadium is once the season is complete they were finished the pro all the way down to fil up else
