Alex seminar is one of our rankings risers we're gonna be talking about that there it is oh man he has look at look at these guys look at the jump that these men have taken from one year ago which of those rises standing out the most to you I need to pry the least Harold it probably is Kyle Edmund I mean getting up to 14 got this semi-finals of a major but you have a couple really big jumps I mean Chung I mean he got off to such a great start now at 26 you would have thought maybe with the early momentum he would be even higher but the other great part is you have a lot of a young players there that have taken big progressions and in big events I mean the fact they George one of 500 events in in winning haleh the fact you got an American in there Francis the Alpha chef of Olive demon our I mean price my biggest prize Michelle is Billy I mean he's one that you wouldn't necessarily thought would be up to 23 in the world there's a lot of expectations on some of these players torch and Shah Pahlavi most notably even Francis as well so when you have that kind of pressure then to see a player still be able to develop and get to the top that's always the most impressive to me sometimes it's easier for the players that aren't as heralded coming up from the juniors or coming out of college they don't have as many eyes on them focused on them and their development but for the players who everybody expects big things from I'm always most impressed by them on that note I'd be remiss if I didn't mention someone who wasn't on the border I just thought of bless someone like Bradley clong someone who'd been out of the sport had a major injury did a great job in Shanghai beat kurios qualified at Wimbledon you know has had a really great comeback through the challengers inside the top hundred like a guy like that doesn't get a lot of fanfare but an unbelievable effort speaking of injuries there have been some rankings sliders as well and injuries have been a part of some of their stories haven't they have a look at our sliders [Applause] [Music] the truck did some great graphics all right okay and Andy Murray has barely played this year and he's had surgery so what types of sliders though the ones of injuries I don't I'm not as hard on those guys someone like Tsonga and verdict we weren't able to play much this year more troubling would be the players like saw rube live Dimitrov who's not on this list he was three that's the end the year he's 16 in the race players Jared Donaldson struggled with a knee injury Donald Young has really also struggled this year I have a conversation yeah this rubra did have a bit of an injury disappointing there but it's I think the biggest question right here's what happened to Jack sock he's literally got three tournaments to salvage not just this year but a start to 2019 he's playing all the way through I mean it's a it's a bit of a bluff that he's ranked that high because all that so many of his points are coming off in fact Li the fact that some of that talented has only won six singles matches this year without a major injury is shocking so he's got Stockholm he's got Basel Vienna and then he's got bare sea where he won he's got three opportunities to have a big run accrue some points and at least get his ranking into the top hundred worries in some of these bigger events in 2019 yeah you can't tell on that graphic because a year ago Drake 20 now he's ranked 17 he's a hundred and fifty nine in the race with winning just six singles matches and all those points coming off like Justin was talking about it is going to be rough for him to start the Year qualies and most of these events I mean right now we'll be in the Australian Open qualies all right crazy yeah it's too bad he's playing such good dubs
