Carolina Panthers settle on 53-man roster

On Tuesday, the Carolina Panthers settled on their first official 53 man roster of the season, but they weren't done making moves as of yet. Wfmy News Two's Logan Campbell. She was down at Bank of America Stadium earlier today and has more on the transactions of the day. The Carolina Panthers had the opportunity to claim whoever they wanted off of the waiver wire first. They used that to their advantage today, claiming six players, three of them being in the secondary. I just really feel like, uh, we owe it to this team to look, we looked across all the league and kind of compared it to the roster we had. Um, and we've been talking about challenging our roster, you know, from the beginning. And so, you know, it really started off with the, uh, with the secondary room, you know, and, um, and so that was a place that we really wanted to, to see if we can start, you know, trying to get a look at a lot of guys. It's gonna be a long season, but we wanted to make sure we got eyes on a lot of people to see who could help us this year tonight at 11, we'll hear from one player that the Carolina Panthers traded for that will have an immediate impact on this roster reporting inside Bank of America Stadium.
