A New Era for SJSU Football

this is a great day for Spartan football and so we're not just getting a football coach we're getting a leader of B it's my pleasure and give a great Spartan Welcome to our brand new Coach Ken [Music] neamat The Joy the Jubilation of being here I can't express it my my vocabulary is not you know in-depth enough to explain how grateful and appreciative I am for this opportunity to embrace this community to embrace all the resources that are around here I want to be involved to do whatever I can to continue to build this culture not the greatest coach in the world I'm not the best person in the world but I feel like with the family and the people that we have here I'm excited about the future of this program people would ask me over the years what was my culture about and how was I going to coach I just was who I am being from Hawaii the spirits we love people and the foundation of our program was very simple and I always tell our coaches and all the coaches that came I told them just coach somebody like you want somebody to coach your son and I don't look at it completely and solely as a football J the way I look at it I'm here to help develop young men of character make them be better husbands better fathers this is my family and I'm ready to leave San Jose State to its next Chaple this is [Applause] Spartan
