as you can see I am out and about but with the breaking news happening I did want to drop a video as the Chicago Bears have traded for Chris Williams from the Cleveland Browns they sent a 2025 sixr pick in return for Chris Williams a defensive tackle to fit into that rotation and a seventh round pick now this is uh this is a basically a depth move Chris Williams does not have a ton of time playing in the NFL he's been in the league 3 years he's only got about 107 snaps under his belt this is going out to get a rotational piece it is not a crazy move by the Bears in the slightest you hope that Chris Williams is going to be able to bring you some kind of development back but I think at the end of the day this goes back to what we heard mat rlu say uh on the defensive side of the ball after that game versus uh the Bengals when he was asked about I'm sorry not the Bengals the Chiefs when he was asked about the defensive tackle de and he basically said yeah that is a concern of ours and it's something that we're going to be looking to address matlu felt that while yes this is a good uh uh unit that we have especially with the starting unit and in a guy like Javon Dexter you still needed to add to that room and so it's good to see that they went out and did add somebody now Chris Williams does have a little bit of experience with matlu as well as he spent a couple years with him in Indianapolis I think that this is going to be a Sol solid rotational piece at best you hope that you can get some development out of it it's not the end of the world but the fact that the Bears are wheeling and dealing and looking to add more depth on the defensive side of the ball do you like that are you feeling like you know maybe they're giving a little bit too much Focus to the defense now for the second day in a row trading draft Capital to add to this defense do you feel like that means that they feel comfortable with where this offense is at let me know in the comments below I'll be down there talking with you guys as well uh like I said this is just a quick update of course we'll have more in-depth stuff if if more news does break but your boys on the move today got a lot going on today so I didn't get an opportunity to record this one from the St the studio but I think that you know on on top of everything else the fact that the Bears are focusing on getting pressure on the quarterback and finding guys that can do that cuz remember uh Zach Pickins went down with an injury and it seems like there is an undisclosed amount of time that he's going to be out making a move like like this maybe you feel like this is one of those uh what's what's a good term for maybe you feel like this is one of those moves that signals maybe we're going to be missing this guy for a little bit longer because without Pickins out there clearly they didn't feel comfortable with the production that they were getting which is why they go out and they get Chris Williams and I mean at the end of the day right like even the production you were getting from Zack Pickins just really wasn't good enough you're hoping to see more from that defensive tackle room outside of just Javon Dexter you feel good about Javon Dexter still but you do have some concerns on that room as a whole hey I want to know how you guys feel let me know in the comments below I'll be down there talking with you as well just wanted to give you this quick update as I'm on the move y'all stay safe out Chicago ban one love peace
