Chestnut Vs Kobayashi: Unfinished Beef Reaction

W y'all 83 hot dogs I probably ain't at all that many hot dogs in my entire life combined I mean if that was me up there I probably would have thrown up after the third one and thrown up watching them up close in personal CU they was getting a lot more things other than hot dogs all over their shirts and on the flow but dang what a contest the Battle of battles the war of wars and Chestnut seems to always get Top Notch when it comes to these two woo y'all let's get into [Music] it welcome back y'all to the DeAndre way we are going straight into it y'all we covering the the Netflix live event that just transpire between Joey Chestnut and takaro Kobayashi for the hot dog eating con contest that was live on Netflix just now just now Netflix is doing all these Live Events now they did the Tom Brady roast they doing this they starting to do WWE in January I believe they said and this contest was one for the ages I mean look Joey Chestnut won by a good amount he W I think it I believe it was 83 to to to 70 70 maybe 83 he won by like 14 15 hot dogs 80 83 to 75 or 76 I'm missing that but yeah 83 is his record I believe and wow I knew he was going to go ham but he even said himself he wouldn't have got that if it wasn't for Kobe yashi I've been to Nathan hot dog eating contest before up in person last year it was Joey chesna's probably last summer doing it because I believe he can't do it no more based off something that happened kobashi obviously wasn't there but it was kind of disgusting as well and I I don't know how this dude does it he got the stomach a steal he's got the liver of livers he got everything that a man would truly want in his all his desires I mean he's living every man's dream right now to be able to make money off eating some hot dogs you know now it looked like he got he got a lock jaw he practice it and we got to see some of his jaw workouts and whatnot but that was crazy I was just like dude this dude 10 minutes is a long time to be eating some food I mean it could take 10 minutes for some people to finish a sandwich let alone 83 hot dogs I don't think people quite can comprehend of what's really going down until you see it up close in personal it's one thing to see it on TV but to see it up close and the action behind it one you might not ever want to eat a hot dog again after seeing it but two it's quite impressive now saying it's a sport little bit of a stretch just a little bit of a stretch but I do respect the art form of eating the hot dogs in a timely manner I mean I'm a quick eater myself but scarfing it down like that you can't even enjoy the food so you look it it was crazy but yeah I I I feel like everyone kind of knew that chess not had this in the bag he didn't do the he didn't do the uh hot dog eating contest this year I don't know how long it takes to replenish from doing an eating contest per se but if he would have done it it would have been July 4th now it's September 2 so that's a two-month span I'm sure he would have recovered by then but still kobashi came in and you know he got a lot of hype behind him he's like look I still been doing the contest I've been practicing and I'm ready to get back with M because it only took chestn as we saw three years to overtake kobashi in his title of being the hot dog champ and since then CH ches just ran with it and CH and and kobashi the reason ches not even got into eating in the first place so you getting beat by your predecessor is one thing and then to him covering the record is another I mean I don't know if they're friends at all um I've got actually to meet Chestnut last year and his brother I didn't ask him about kobachi because that's a little like antagonizing you know asking him about his biggest rival and whatnot but I'm very curious to see if they actually like get along kobashi doesn't speak that much English so it's kind of hard to communicate and have a relationship with someone who doesn't speak the same language as you but at the same time very interesting dynamic between the two with that being said I'm proud of Joey Chestnut I knew he was going to come through and he's seems like a genuine good dude um and yeah I wonder what's next for him because this was the finished beef this was the unfinished beef that finally finished so I don't know if we'll see him at another Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest I don't know what else we'll actually see him at nationally tele he does all these other eating contests throughout the world throughout the year and but none of them are very as much popular as the Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest in uh in Brooklyn Kobe yashi he had a lot of family and friends there he had a lot of family and friends there all the way from Japan I believe that's where he's from rooting for him hard they they was crying in the stands it was getting dramatic out there I was starting to feel bad for the family out there because they was shedding some tears of like you know sadness and defeat because you know they came all the way to Vegas for this event and you know they came to party celebrate as well but you know your hometown hero loses I don't know what else you got to do except go drown your Sorrows out at the strip club in Vegas or the slot machines so kobashi he's second but second by far but he's still respectable this dude he's one of the he is a legend in the eating game and he shouldn't be too uh help he should still hold his head high off of a good performance I'd say because I believe he broke his own record in this contest and maybe he'll come maybe this will be a onee annual thing with Netflix and it's going to get bigger and bigger and bigger and bigger because Netflix did put on a good little event with Rob brigle hosting and we had you know ESPN commentators on the side doing the little analysis of the whole spectacle acting like it's Monday Night Football going on and we had a couple contests earlier with like the Olympic swimmers going against the guy who beat Joey Chestnut once before in the hotwing or not hot Just Wing eating contest and that was pretty interesting I mean it was three verse one and it was Ryan locky Ryan Murphy and Max Irving versus max Stony and he beat them 56 5 3 to 36 in the Wings contest I mean it was crazy he like I'm like damn bro I didn't even know you could peel Wings off the bone like that and they was they was actual flaps they weren't drumsticks so I'm just like okay I think they were Flats at least I didn't think they were jump sticks but yeah it that was crazy cuz this dude wasn't playing no games and these olymp sers are trying to like take their time and seem like eating it they're like look y' you can have it after they start S saw him keeping up they're like bro you can have it we ain't about to keep up but I hope he got a little prize for that and then we had another cont uh a Guinness World Record broken 20 uh 24 time Guinness World Record holder Leah sh kept shut shut Kev attempting the record for the most watermelon eaten after three minutes they had the plaque already there so I think they knew she was going to break the record off the get-go I ain't going to say it was like you know pre-plan like okay you can do this for show right cuz we can't print this plaque out if you can't break this record we going to waste a lot of money on this plaque and a lot of time and it's going to be embarrassing so I hope you can do this sister she's probably done it once before and she's like okay I'll do it on national TV to make sure it looks like I actually did it so them having the whole setup there I think that was a little cap of them saying Oh that's wow it's a first R bro record I believe she already knew like she had it in the bag CU they didn't bring Chestnut no plaque saying oh you broke the record because of the chances that he didn't it would have been foolish to like print all that out and waste that so there's a reason she got hers and he didn't get his so I think that was like a setup there but she ate five watermelons which is crazy uh very sugary food so I couldn't do that we even got WWE Hall of Fame Rey Mysterio and WWE Superstar almost present the WWE Undisputed champion belt to Chestnut after it was all set and done like I said WWE is going live on Netflix in January hope I'm going to try and make that event depending on when it is and where it's at and what not I'm going to go to a WWE event this year best believe that after the Fanatics Fest um but yeah y'all they did the contest 10 minutes like I said earlier it was lit the crowd was going wild it was in Vegas it was popping they brought out the best they could for this contest Netflix I think they did a quality job in building this up because they've been promoting this event for like a good month month and a half I seing it pop up and every single time I open Netflix and I was like I got to watch this I had it on my calendar almost forgot about it cuz it's a Monday you know it's Labor Day people are chilling relaxing doing their own thing grilling themselves so I don't know I'm curious to see how many people actually tuned into this live event but if you missed it it was quality the whole thing I'd give it about a seven seven and a half it some moments they were like lows and like okay like um what's next so that's just what happens when that's what that's what you get when you have these Live Events sometimes and they're brand new because you're kind of on a rolling clock until the thing starts so you know you just got to keep it going but it was cool uh there's not too much more to go into about that it's a hot dog eating contest it's self-explanatory about what it is congratulations at Chestnut once again hopefully he comes back to Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest or else I won't be back there either you know what I mean cu no offense to the other eaters but I'm going to see Chestnut and the chestnut ain't there then I don't know if I can show up either coach right now at least unless somebody breaks his record but CU that's not the game that I'm in I'm not in the food eating game I would eat some bacon and some popey's chicken contest if they got that I'll sign me up I'm check it out but if not I'm going just sit from the stands and hopefully they got them on TV and I can just sit back and relax and watch from the comfort of my own home but yes this event is over it was very interesting to watch I hope they settled the beef I hope they both can go home with their heads held high and it was great to see these two Gladiators come back once more and finish the beef literally and figuratively speaking but thank you guys so much for joining me for this review and reaction to the
