fever get another win and as they start their uh six game hom stand man after all those Road games that they had to endure especially earli in the season they're finally going to get a chance to spend the next two weeks at the career bro uh the very last game of the season on September the 19th which is two weeks from Thursday um against the mystics in Washington so they'll be at the crib they'll be in their own beds uh it really probably started right after Sunday's game when they got back home uh Indianapolis and that's going to help them that's going to help them a lot just to be at home every day and know that you only got to go to game Bridge you don't got to be on a plane or anything like that until the playoffs so or really until when they get to Washington so that's really good to know now this game was uh a little bit like kind of unexpected you know uh the Sparks came in and bald uh they kept it close throughout um and it was just one of those ugly wins for the fever but you know what that's showing how good the fever are now that they could play an ugly game like this to opponent that they most people expect them to blow out and they can still come out on top it was very similar to the Atlanta game you know where they played the ugly game but still came out on top the only thing is you don't want to see these types of games against teams like Minnesota cuz if this is Minnesota Minnesota would have won this game um so they are going to have that's the next scene that they're going to be facing by the way is Minnesota they're going to have to make some think she wrapped it up today I think she wrapped it up today uh if if it was still some question I only even think I I think this thing was wrapped up about 3 weeks ago but for whatever reason man it still felt like there was some some some life in it she beat one of the other rookie of the gear contenders and re Ria Jackson who I'm going to get on her a little bit later because Lexi Hall shut her and hamy down today um but let's just focus in on Caitlyn Clark here so Caitlyn Clark also got a triple double in this game Let's uh get to her stats hold on let me look through here real quick so Caitlyn Clark had 24 points uh tenness assist and 10 rebounds the 10 rebounds is all I love him when I see uh Caitlyn and double digits and rebounds and some people tring to say see stat padded to get that triple double I was like get out of here man this ain't Rees Reese deliberately does that this ain't Reese okay this ain't Reese over here the other the probably the most amazing stat that she had for the whole game was the three steals because people swear she don't play defense but she had three steals bro yeah all right all right she don't play defense though keep telling y still said she played a full 40 minutes in this game too she did not ever come out of the game uh played a full 40 minutes man uh 40% from three so four for 10 uh got some nice threes in this game uh and and and the thing that I'm liking the most is that she shooting the ball a lot and I actually got I actually got to say something something man about cuz y'all know I've been heavy on Kelsey Mitchell on this channel man Kelsey Mitchell was looking for at of times and I actually noticed that those two have coexisted on the court a lot better than before where Kelsey Mitchell could still get her shots and then Caitlin Clark could get her shots like I think Kelsey Mitchell has found out like I could still get mine while Caitlin could still get hers right um but M was actually terrible T Night Like This is actually not a good game from Mitchell uh overall she actually didn't have one of her regular Mitchell games that she's been having lately um I don't know if it was just a match up for that just wasn't good for her in this game but this is the worst I've seen her in a little while but uh I actually like the way she play complimentary ball to Caitlin Clark I still need to see those assists up man that that's the one thing that's killing me with Kelsey Mitchell I need to see those uh assists get up um but she played a lot better tonight but the story of tonight was Lexi Hall and Aaliyah Boston mainly Aaliyah Boston More in this game Leah Boston was a plus 10 for the field as well uh plus 10 she was uh 24 points so this is the best offensive performance we've seen from we've been seeing good games from Boston even though she hasn't been scoring so that's not new but she did get the 14 rebounds and the 24 points but it's just the offense was just better from uh AB she took advantage of her matchup and she just went in and like I said I I felt like she was on a su that's how I never really went in on Boston like that cuz I felt like she was just in a little bit of a slump you know what I'm saying but we're going to need this production out of Boston going into the playoffs man we're going to need her uh and I will even say before the playoffs because we got the aces twice next week got the linkx on Friday we're going to need AB to really step up in those three games particular cuz those games are to get us ready for the playoffs and to really see where we're at as a team what we need to work on the different stuff that we need to do so those games are definitely going to be key Nelissa Smith is still like Nelissa Smith is a player that I really can't figure out right now because she shows you some good stuff but then it's like other times it's like she still does this goofy stuff um but in this game I mean you know she's been playing like this the last few games but I really liked her game today CU it was like three blocks one steel and she was out there in the forth with Boston she really wasn't a problem in this game being with Boston and like I like what SAS is doing SAS is finding uh partners for ab for right now she had to get really creative because there was no Timmy Timmy's out again y f Bley she's out again um hopefully she be back next week we're going to need her against the aces man that's the game that I hope that she returns back on so if she don't play the rest of this week I I hope she's at least back by that first Aces game next Wednesday so that's going to be a big one next week for us man um we got to see how we match up against the aces just in case we see him in the playoffs um wheeler continues to look good too uh Dantes wasn't really Dantes wasn't really providing really good quality minutes tonight ktie LOM knocked down some three some free throws got a block in this game so she was doing what she's usually expected to do and that's provide some defense so Katie Lou uh as as a six to seven man I think that she I think Off the Bench I think she's going to find herself and she needs to continue to get as much time coming off the bench as possible because I want to see her get used to coming off the bench and providing that energy for the team uh the only problem I got with sze right now is not giving minutes to Grace burger if we don't see grace burger by that Washington game at the end of the season we will not see her in the playoffs and this is the one player I think they really need to play is Grace ber they need to start giving her some minutes so we can see where she's at cuz I'm telling you we can use that backup point guard bro uh to wheel her uh because just in case something happens God forbid to any of them you know we're gonna need Grace Burger to be ready to go um and I feel like s is kind of with this 8ar rotation she had tonight you could have really I mean that that was the trouble with being so close to the Sparks today was that you really couldn't put in the bench like you wanted to um because this would have been a perfect game for Grace bur to get like three or four minutes in because you know the Sparks but the Sparks were so competitive today they they really couldn't afford to put anybody in the bench in so it just wasn't that type of game for him man but the Indiana Fever uh get this one out and and a lot of it had to do with Lexi Hall again man I'm going to end this video talking about Lexi Hall here Lexi Hall I'm going to do my then saving us at the free throw line at the end of the game the only problem with Lexi Hall that not giving her enough look especially from three she needs more scoring chance I think I might have to
