Rolling into the three day weekend in such a good mood because of it. And the weather we've had all week and look to have y'all. It's just gonna keep getting better. I'm so excited to kick off the month of September right now. It's mostly clear skies, light winds, lower seventies, everyone between 7075 degrees out there. Just beautiful and nice conditions, good traveling conditions, which is good news considering a lot of people are gonna be parked on I 35 today, especially if you're going somewhere for the three day weekend. Uh, the Friday before Labor Day, it's always rough if you're out on the road. Um, 70 to 75 is also what we feel like this morning. So even though humidity is way, way up winds, light, um, it didn't feel super warm to me outside, it just felt pretty good. Didn't bother me. Um, if you are going towards the beach for the three day weekend or maybe Houston, they are getting absolutely drenched by slow moving thunderstorm activity this morning. So it's the Texas panhandle who could receive several inches of rain over the next 48 hours or so. If you're like me in a red raider and going to the first home game out in Lubbock. Yep, they have a really good chance for rain. You can see the central portions of Texas, including our whole viewing area. Of course, no rainfall right now. Actually, a cloud in sight right now. It is gonna be partly cloudy skies on average for today across central Texas winds remaining light starting out in the seventies, fast forward to early afternoon, starting to see potentially a couple of spotty thunderstorms on radar. Let's fast forward again. You're getting off of work, like I said, Parktown ie 35 potentially, maybe you're going to the central Texas State Fair. Um Just be aware, maybe keep your rein gear handy just in case you are one of the ones that sees these very body thunderstorms. Not a lot of people are going to see widespread coverage today, but there could be a lightning delay or two. It's a possibility for sure rain chances go up into labor day weekend and high temperatures go down slightly daily. This is what I'm super excited about because I'm decorating for Halloween and always feel ridiculous doing that when it feels like it's 100 degrees Saturday, 50% of scattered thunderstorm activity again, looking swat in nature just a little bit more coverage on Saturday, Sunday as well. We have issued weather impact alert days for Sunday into Monday just because simply a lot of people have outdoor plans. They, yes. Um, there's definitely gonna be some stuff getting rained out. You guys, there's gonna be a weak frontal boundary impacting us. It's gonna bring our high temperatures down over the weekend, which is just gonna be so nice. You guys, we're gonna have several days where our high temperatures are in the eighties. So today and tomorrow, right around 90 degrees isolated storms possible today, not very much in coverage over the weekend, 50% daily. Our highs range between about 89 and 91 daily. We roll into Labor Day really good chance for rain both then on into Tuesday and then isolated storms after that. Yes, there is a rain chance every day over the next seven game of the week today. Franklin versus China Spring at Cougar Stadium looking like eighties the entire game. Oh, in the fourth quarter, it's gonna be like 82 an isolated stray storm possible today.
