Since its beginnings, the God of War saga has surprised us by introducing mystical weapons of all kinds. Some related to myths and others being creations of Santa Monica's mind. Almost all of them have exclusive attributes for specific moments. And in general their designs are great. The excuse for Kratos to be able to summon them and instantly disappear them was magic. But when transitioning to the Norse saga, this concept took a new turn, since the weapons are in plain sight at all times. So hiding them under Kratos' skirt was no longer an option.
