hello my name is consal from book New Brunswick uh in 2021 I got posted to uh New Brunswick again with [Music] thecmp uh basically I graduated in 2013 at ay in BOS uh after that I took a police science course in monton once that was done I did five years in a security company and after a while I felt the need to have greater opportunity for a career so that's why I decided to apply and become an RCMP officer in [Music] Canada the reason why I wanted to come back to New Brunswick is because in the Mari times you have a lot of different opportunities can go fishing can go hunting there's a lot of hiking and obviously the big biggest part is friends and family when you first become a police officer it's obviously a big change so having that extra support is a big thing 104 on my way so the reason why I joined ermp uh in my personal opinion it's the best police force in Canada uh you have a lot of different opportunities for sections you can even work throughout Canada and internationally if you wish to do so when I graduated from thecmp Academy in 2021 I wasn't guaranteed to come back to New Brunswick I could have ended up in Alberta Sasa in Manitoba uh even the territories fortunately I was posted back to New Brunswick now in 2023 there's a pre- posting agreement basically if you wish to come back to New Brunswick you have the opportunity to do so what it takes to become a police officer with drcm uh you need to have patience you need to be willing to help people and hear them you need to be willing to learn new things every day my favorite part of my job is the teamwork when there's big files that come in your colleagues are always beside you willing to help and when you work together uh you you get the job done right [Music]
